THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis. 23rd day of Rabeeu ath-thaani 1444AH (Thursday 17th November. 2022). INGREDIENTS OF FAITH. BismilLah.

Contrary to the common belief that faith is in the heart, I would like to state based on Quran and Sunnah that Faith is obligatory for all people, and it consists of belief in the heart that (there is none worthy of worship except ALLAH and Prophet Mohammed SallalLaahu alaihiWasallam is last and final Messenger), affirmation on the tongue by saying these words as we do in every salaat and in every gathering etc, and then physical actions (righteous deeds) such as the salaat, zakaat,  Fasting in Ramadhan,  Pilgrimage etc. A Muslim must have all these completely in their ways of life else you cannot claim to be among the ummah of RasuululLah sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam.

Moreover, you should understand that having knowledge and belief in the heart is not sufficient unless it is accompanied by a verbal affirmation of faith, and knowledge in the heart and verbal affirmation is not valid unless they are accompanied by physical action (righteous deeds). Once a person combines these three characteristics, then he is a believer. This is indicated by the Qur’an and Sunnah, and the views of Muslim scholars. Let's strive to be good practising Muslims by actions, not by only mouth and remember death regularly as it ends all our world dreams and moves us to a permanent place of abode where our reward for our actions on earth would benefit us or doom us May ALLAH forbid. Aameen.

May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and increases us in beneficial knowledge in addition to protecting us from the ongoing trials of dunya. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 9th day of Muharram (Friday 28th August 2020). ACTS THAT CAN EARN US PARADISE. BismilLah.  As Muslims we must always learn and implement actions that can earn us the Pleasure of ALLAH our CREATOR in return for HIS Paradise awaiting HIS sincere servants.  Some of the things that can get us closer to ALLAH are , fasting regularly, Obedience to ALLAH, HIS Messenger, Our Parents etc. following funeral procession of a Muslim, feeding poor people, visiting sick people regularly etc.  Abu Huraira (Radhiallahu 'anhu) reported, that ALLAH'S Messenger (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said: “Who is fasting today?” Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) (again) said: Who has followed a funeral procession today? Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam - the Holy Prophet) again said: Who amongst you has served food to the needy today Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat and Yaumul Aashuura. 10th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Friday, 28th July, 2023). SPECIAL EID DAY FOR US ALL. BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn. Today mark the day ALLAH humiliated HIS worse enemy on earth Fir'awn for his disbelief in ALLAH and claiming he was ALLAH. We are all fasting on this blessed day seeking forgiveness from ALLAH for our sins from last year till date as the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam recommended.  Those who are unable to fast can still do much to earn lots of rewards especially our sisters and daughters in their monthly cycle. You can recite lots of azkaar and give sadaqah with your intention to seek forgiveness from ALLAH. Please remember today is Friday lets strive to go to Masjid early and also remember to send salutations to our...
