THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 28th day of Swafar 1444AH. (Saturday, 24th of September 2022).

COURTSHIP IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.

To non Muslims, courtship is a period during which a couple develop a romantic relationship before getting married with excuse of getting to know each other well regardless of any disobedience to ALLAH within such relationship. This kind of relationship is strictly forbidden in Islam. Islam has a permissible form of courtship before the actual wedding day. First of all, it's not permissible and not recommended or healthy for any Muslim who is not ready for marriage to initiate any form of relationship with a brother or sister. It's important to build good relationship with ALLAH first through studies of Islam and also building a good and halaal career or source of income before even thinking of marriage. Don't waste your time with anyone within these period and be focused especially our brothers and sisters in education or in any apprenticeship.

When you are ready for marriage then you can begin searching for a partner through friends, relatives, colleagues, local imams, learned Islamic teachers  etc for any recommendations. You must take your time through Prayers whilst searching considering the  minimum 4 formula recommended by our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam which are 1. The Person's eemaan or practicing nature and must be a Muslim. We can't marry ANY non Muslim. 2. The person must be attractive to you. Don't just accept bcs of your parents or who did the recommendation even though that factor is highly recommended if you can consider the person. 3. The person must be earning halaal income or ensure  his or her source of income is halaal. 4. The person is been raised from a good muslim family or good practicing revert etc. These are guidelines to consider in our efforts to find a suitable partner for our marriage life.

May ALLAH protect our marriages and grant our single brothers and sisters good partners. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
