THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad. 12th day of Rajab. (Sunday, 13th Febuary 2022).

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT RAJAB. Bismillah.

Rajab is derived from the word Rajaba meaning "to respect."  This is one of the four sacred months in which fighting was forbidden prior to Islam. It is also known as Rajab al Fard where Fard means alone, because this month comes alone, separated from the other three consecutive sacred months.

This month is also deemed to be a prelude to the month of Ramadan, because the month of Ramadan follows it after the intervening month of Sha’baan. Therefore, when the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) sighted the moon of Rajab, he used to pray to ALLAH (SWT)

“O Allah, make the month of Rajab and Sha’baan blessed for us and let us reach the month of Ramadan (ie prolong our life upto Ramadan so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings).”

There are several events related to this month which have no religious significance associated with them. No specific ways of worship have been prescribed by the Shari’ah for this month; however some special rituals and practices have been invented which are not supported by reliable resources and are based on unauthentic traditions and are classified as religious innovations. These include celebrating the night journey of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) to al-Quds, Jerusalem and from there his ascension to the Heavens on the 26th of the month and performing a sacrificial offering on the 27th of Rajab and then standing in voluntary prayer throughout the night. All these has no authentic source. We know Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Shafiee, Imam Muslim, Imam Nawawee May ALLAH be please with them etc all passed away in Rajab. The battle of Tabook took place in Rajab, Hadhrat Bilal ibn Haritha brought congregation of 400 men named Banu Muzeena to embrace Islam Infront of the Prophet etc. There is no official celebration for all these. There are religious innovations invented by some who think they know better than the Prophet and his companions. May ALLAH forgive us all. Aameen.

We can step up our efforts in fasting on Mondays and Thursdays and also 3 white days of 13th/14th/15th Islamic calendar. May ALLAH make our Intentions pure and give us Taqwa so that we can become Jannah Focused instead dunyaa riyaa focus. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
