THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 24th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Saturday, 30th of October 2021). CHARACTERISTICS OF HYPOCRITES. BismilLah. Let's continue on our topic of hypocrites from the reminder on last Thursday. There are many characteristics of hypocrites but the easy ones many of us fall into are those which were described by the Messenger (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam): “There are four main characteristics, whoever has all of them is a complete hypocrite, and whoever has some of them has some element of hypocrisy, unless he gives it up: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a treaty, he betrays it; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; when he quarrels, he resorts to insults.”(Narrated by Muslim, 53). Among their characteristics is a concern with appearances and fancy speech whilst they are inwardly corrupt. ALLAH says concerning:  “And when you look at them, their bodies please you; and when they speak, you listen to their words. They are as blocks of wood pro...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 23rd day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Saturday, 30th of October 2021). ISLAM DESTROY PAST SINS . BismilLah. ALLAAH made Islam to destroy the sins that came before it. When a disbeliever becomes Muslim, ALLAH forgives all that he or she did when he was a non-Muslim, and he becomes cleansed of sin. In Swaheeh Muslim (121) narrated that ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas (may ALLAH be pleased with him) said: When ALLAH put Islam in my heart, I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAAH be upon him) and said: “Give me your right hand so that I may swear allegiance to you.” He held out his hand and I withdrew my hand. He said, “What is the matter, O ‘Amr?” I said, “I want to stipulate a condition.” He said, “What do you want to stipulate?” I said, “That I will be forgiven.” He said, “Do you not know that Islam destroys that which came before it?” “Islam destroys that which came before it” means that it erases it and wipes it out. Stated by al-Nawawi in Sharh ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 22nd day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Friday, 29th of October 2021). THE EVIL NATURE OF HYPOCRISY . BismilLah. ALLAH and HIS Messenger has warned us seriously about Hypocrisy. It is a serious sickness and a great crime. The major form of hypocrisy is making an outward display of Islam whilst inwardly concealing kufr. Hypocrisy is more dangerous than kufr (disbelief) and the punishment for it is more severe, because it is kufr mixed with Islam and its harmful effects are greater. Hence ALLAH will put the hypocrites in the lowest level of Hell, as HE says:  “Verily, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depth (grade) of the Fire; no helper will you find for them (Quran 4:145). The hypocrites are always confused, always planning deceit and plots. Although outwardly they appear to be with the believers, inwardly they are with the kaafireen. So sometimes they are inclined towards the believers and sometimes they are inclined towards the kaafire...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 21st day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Thursday, 28th of October 2021). HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN . BismilLah. When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W), said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH will make it easy for him in the world and the Hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH will conceal his faults in the world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah. With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in our communities, encouraging others into good deeds without mocking anyone's errors et...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 20th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Wednesday, 27th of October 2021). WHAT IS OUR SOURCE OF HAPPINESS IN LIFE . BismilLah. When we die, Prayer is the first responsibility we will be judged upon, if it is sound [accepted], then all our deeds after it will be sound [accepted] and if it is corrupt, then all our deeds after it will be corrupt. The Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam said, “whoever abandons it [prayer], has disbelieved.” However, it is not only the Prayer’s obligatory nature that should compel us to tend to it. This would be an incomplete intention. The prayer is an act that brings such a satisfying comfort, a true quenching of that spiritual thirst!  Your body maybe on earth, but your  soul is floating around The Most Merciful’s Throne! Prayer is ALLAH'S greatest gift to us.  In it is the peace and true happiness that we all yearn and search for. Every position has a special meaning and a unique significance,...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 19th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Tuesday, 26th of October 2021). DUA CAN BE BEAUTIFIED AND PERFECTED BY CERTAIN ACTIONS . BismilLah. 1. Have Wudu, face Qibla, be neat, clean attentive knowing you are sitting in front of ALLAH to seek HIS HELP. 2. Be in sujuud after your last sunnah salaat rakaats or anytime you intend making dua. 3. First Praise ALLAH using HIS Beautiful attributes like Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyuum. Yaa Gafuurur Raheem, laailaaha illaa Anta. Anta mulkus Samaawaati wal Ard etc 4. Then send Salawaat to the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam, that's Allahummah Sally Alaa Muhammad ...to the end. 5. Then make dua first using the recommended sunnah Dua such as Rabbanaa Aatinaa Fiddunyaa Hasanatan wafil Aahirati hasanatan wakinaa azaabannaar, then add your pressing need in your Dua and finalise with another salawaat to the Prophet as shield for the dua. 6. Be insistent-repeating each Dua 3x's example when you say R...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 18th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Monday, 25th of October 2021). ARGUING IN ISLAM . BismilLah. Arguments over issues in the religion of Islam should be avoided as much as possible. Disputing and debating theological, legal, or historical matters will often lead to the hardening of hearts, bad feelings, and even hatred. As such, the Prophet has warned us that the nations before us went astray due to their indulgence in argumentation. Abu Umamah reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: * _ No people go astray after being guided except that they indulge in arguments _ * . Then the Prophet recited the verse_: * _ They strike an example for you only to argue, rather, they are a quarrelsome people _ * . (43:58). Sunan At-Tirmidhi 3253. We should leave arguments aside even if we are certain our position is correct and the others are upon falsehood. The Prophet has guaranteed a house in Paradise for those wh...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 17th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Sunday, 24th of October 2021). WHY WE SHOULD BE LEARNING OUR DEEN . BismilLaah. The purpose of learning is to become conscious of ALLAH and purify the heart. Ibn Abdul Barr may Allah be pleased with him reported: Sufyan Ath-Thawri, may ALLAH have mercy on him, said, “Verily, knowledge is only studied to become mindful of ALLAH. Verily, knowledge is only favored over other virtues because one is made conscious of ALLAH by it.”JāmiÊ» Bayān al-Ê»Ilm 759 Imam Al-Ghazali may ALLAH be pleased with him said, “Seeking knowledge is an act of worship of the soul. In the language of the law, it is an act of worship of the heart. It will not be sound unless the heart it purified from evil behaviors and foul characteristics. Mīzān al-Ê»Amal 1/342. Any act of worship or way of life not meant to please ALLAH through the Quran and Sunnah way is a waste of time and may even be sinful may ALLAH forbid. May ALLAH keep guidi...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 16th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Saturday, 23rd of October 2021). CAN I KISS/HUG MY ADULT DAUGHTER/ SISTER ETC . BismilLah. Scholars based on QUR'AN and Sunnah has ruled that, for a man to embrace and hug his daughter/ sister, or kiss her on the head or cheek or between the eyes by way of showing compassion, kindness and love is permissible and recommended, even if she is an adult, on condition that there be no fear of fitnah or provocation of desire. Excluded from that is kissing on the mouth or any sensitive area, which is only for spouses, and which usually provokes desire.  Let's be careful as sheitan is an open enemy who can cause us to commit grave sin against ourselves as we see and hear happening on daily basis fathers inpregnating their own daughters, brothers inpregnating their own biological sisters etc. astaqfirulLah. ALLAH has warned us not to go near Zina in Quran 24 vs 21. HE didn't say don't do it, he...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 15th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Friday, 22nd of October 2021). PROPHET MOHAMMED SALLALLAAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM WAS KIND AND MERCIFUL TO ALL THE CREATION Of THE LORD BismilLah.  Jubair ibn Mut’im reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, I have names: I am Muhammad, and I am Ahmad, and I am the eraser through whom ALLAH erases unbelief, and I am the gatherer at whose feet the people will be gathered, and I am the seal of prophecy.” Jubair said, “And ALLAH has named him as kind and merciful.” Source: Sahih Muslim 2354. As Muslims its important we study about him and implement his ways in our life. Today is Friday, let's remember to seek more blessings from ALLAH for ourselves by reciting lots of zikir especially Salaat Alan Nabi.  May ALLAH keep guiding us all and increase us in beneficial knowledge. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 14th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Thursday, 21st of October 2021). CARING FOR OUR WIVES MUST BE A PRIORITY OF EVERY HUSBAND . BismilLaah. The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) regarded being kind to one's family as being the criterion with regard to who is best in Islam. Whoever wants to be one of the best of the Muslims should be kind to his family, which includes being kind to one’s wife, children and relatives.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “You will never spend anything seeking thereby the Face of ALLAH, but you will be rewarded for it, even (the food) that you put in your wife’s mouth.” Narrated by al-Bukhari, 56.  ALLAH created women perfectly and they all have good qualities as well as bad behaviors. It's a duty of each husband to ensure you get the best behavior out of your wife. There is nothing like bad wife. If your wife have change to be bad, then blame yourself not he...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 13th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Wednesday, 20th of October 2021). A UNIQUE ROLE TO KEEP YOUR HUSBAND HAPPY AT HOME IN RETURN FOR PARADISE . BismilLah. We all know in Islam that marriage is an act of worship and managing your marriage well can easily earn you PARADISE especially our sisters. The task of a wife is to maintain and take care of a husband. It is not an easy undertaking. Those women, who are unaware of this feature of their role, may find difficulty in fulfilling the task. It is a job for the woman who is aware that the job requires a degree of sagacity, style, and ingenuity. For a woman to be a successful wife, she should win over her husband's heart and be a source of comfort to him. She should encourage him to do good deeds while dissuading him from bad ones. She should also provide adequate measures to maintain his health and well-being. The results of her efforts are directed towards making the man into a kind and respe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 12th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Tuesday, 19th of October 2021). LET'S MAKE GOOD USE OF OUR LIFE . BismilLah. Our mentality towards life must change my brothers and sisters. We see how people die so easily and painfully but we don't seems to appreciate life and to meet ALLAH. When it comes to marriage, it is not about having the right person, but creating the right relationship as an act of worship. It's not how we care in the beginning, but how much we care till the very end seeking to please ALLAH all the time as an act of worship. Search for a good heart, but don't search for a beautiful face, because beautiful things are not always good, but good things are always beautiful as the wise says. Often when we lose all hope and think this is the end, remember ALLAH and pray, it’s just a bend, not the end.' Pray two rakaats and talk to ALLAH who is online live 24/7. Have faith and have a successful life. One of the bas...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 11th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Monday, 18th of October 2021). ILLNESS IS A TRIAL AND GOOD FOR BELIEVERS. BismilLah.  Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA): The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "There is no disease that ALLAH has created, except that HE also has created its treatment." (Sahih Bukhari Book 71 Hadith 582) We all fall ill at some time and it can seem as though the world is falling apart when we’re low, but remember ALLAH is the One who created the illness and the cure. When you are sick, your Duas are more precious so use them. When you are afflicted with something, the reward is greater so know that you are gaining blessings for every second of your sickness. Even the diseases of the heart have a treatment in remembrance of ALLAH, Dhikr and Quran, so if spiritual illnesses can be cured so can physical ones. If you are healthy, say Alhamdulillah and pray for all those who are unwell. Islam encourages us to stay healthy a...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 10th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Sunday, 17th of October 2021). LET'S STRIVE TO SOFTEN OUR HEARTS . BismilLah. It is a curse to have a hardened heart and it is a blessings to have a soft heart. Those with hardened hearts suffer in this life, even though they may have all of the trappings of this life. They cannot find peace of mind and of heart because their hearts are hardened to ALLAH through sins and arguments. That is why ALLAH says, "And whoever turns away from My remembrance – indeed, he will have a depressed [i.e., difficult] life, and ALLAH will gather [i.e., raise] him on the Day of Resurrection blind." Qur'an 20:124. What is most beneficial in this life is a soft heart which is acquired through obedience of ALLAH and HIS Messenger. We should strive to achieve it because everything else would be meaningless and useless if we do not have softened heart. The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said, "I have left yo...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 9th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Saturday, 16th of October 2021). CAN I OBEY ALLAH AND FOLLOW ONLY THE QUR'AN TO PARADISE? . BismilLah. A non Muslim and even some Muslims  do ask if they can go to paradise without following the sunnah or teachings of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam? Let's note that obeying ALLAH is without doubt, obligatory. So when ALLAH says: “Whosoever obeys the Messenger, has indeed obeyed ALLAH ” (Surah An-Nisa 4:80), it should be clear that one has obeyed ALLAH by obeying the Messenger. Furthermore Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam said: “…whosoever disobeys me, disobeys ALLAH ”. Following the Sunnah is clearly an obligation upon every Muslim. The obligation is stressed even more when ALLAH says: “But no, by your Lord, they can have no faith, until they make you (O’ Muhammad) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept them with full...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 8th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Friday, 15th of October 2021). HOW CAN WE BENEFIT FROM FORGIVING OTHERS . BismilLah. Earning ALLAH’s pleasure; When we are preoccupied with the wrongs others have committed against us, we lose focus of one of the most beautiful ways to get closer to ALLAH. The Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “There was a merchant who used to extend credit to people. If he found one of his customers to be in difficulties he would say to his assistants: “Forgive them their debt, perhaps ALLAH will forgive us.” ALLAH did forgive him.” [Bukhari/Muslim]. There is a direct correlation between the ways we treat others and how ALLAH (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) treats us. We all know the Prophet’s (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) famous saying “Have mercy on those on the earth, and the One in heaven, ALLAH will have mercy on you” [Tirmidhi]. Of course, ALLAH (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) is incomparably greater and m...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 7th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Thursday, 14th of October 2021). HOW CAN WE PROOF QUR'AN IS FROM ALLAH/ GOD? . BismilLah. First of all, it's important to know how previous generations before Islam believed in their Prophets/ Messengers and the Scriptures they brought. Basically we know the people at the time of Moses or Musah alayhi salaam doubted him till they started seeing him do some miracles of turning his stick into snake and dividing the sea into 2 for his people to pass through by the permission of ALLAH. The people at the time of Issah or Jesus Christ peace be upon him also doubted him till they noticed him do some physical miracles. But you know why many people are becoming Atheist or disbelievers in religion? Bcs all they read about religion in the Bible is something history, no proof that all those miracles happened. Even the Christians, Hindus etc all have some doubts about what they are following. They are only hopping th...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 6th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Wednesday, 13th of October 2021). SOME PRACTICAL WAYS TO STOP WATCHING PORNOGRAPHY and COMMITTING ZINA.  First of all, Ask ALLAH, The Source of Light to purify you and reclaim the light back in your heart, mind and soul. Seek forgiveness regularly such as reciting Laailaaha illaa Anta Astaghfiruka wa atuubu ilaika. Yaa Hayyu yaa qayyuum biRahmatika astaqeeth meaning Oh ALLAH there is none worthy of worship except you. You are the living and maintainer of life so with your Mercy I seek your help.  Try at least for a week to unfollow and disconnect from all the content that you know is immoral and impure. Have the courage to do that, and observe for yourself how this will help you regain more peace and calmness in your heart and your life. Engage with the Qur’an. Engage with the Qur’an. Can’t emphasize enough on this point. The Qur’an is the ultimate source of light and healing. Reciting and listening to ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 5th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Tuesday, 12th of October 2021). SUSPICION, SPYING AND BACKBITING . BismilLah. ALLAH says clearly in Qur'an 49:12 that if you claim to be a Muslim then "Avoid suspicion; indeed suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Quran 49:12. This verse alone contains 3 major sins and each lead to one another. When you start suspecting it leads to spying which then leads to backbiting. In most cases especially in marriage all these 3 warnings comes when you start checking on your partners phone that's why it's forbidden. Narrated Abu Huraira: ALLAH’S Apostle said, "Beware of suspicion, for it is the worst of false tales and don't look for the other's faults and don't spy and don't hate each other, and don't desert (cut your relations with) one another. O ALLAH’S slaves, be brothers!" - Sahih Al Bukhari, Vol. 8 Number 717. May ALLAH keep guiding us al...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 4th day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Monday, 11th of October 2021). RIGHT TO PRIVACY IS STRICT IN ISLAM . BismilLah. Islam is a complete way of life and right to privacy is an important part of Islam. Checking your husband or wife phone is strictly prohibited and haraam in Islam and that is proving in Qur'an and in Hadith and no difference of opinion among scholars on this topic. Even to enter into someone's room, house, office etc requires strick requirement and let's tackle that first. The Messenger of ALLAH (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: “Seek permission to enter 3 times by saying Assalaamu Alaikum loudly, If one of you seeks permission to enter three times but is not given permission or no response, then go back.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (6245). One should not seek permission to enter aggressively, or bang on the door or ring the bell aggressively, because that is rude and is not polite. It was narrated that Anas ibn Maalik s...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad , 3rd day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Sunday, 10th of October 2021). DO NOT KILL OR HARM YOURSELF FOR ANY REASON . BismilLah. Abu Huraira reported: We witnessed the battle of Khaibar along with the Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him. He said concerning a man who claimed to be a Muslim, “He is among the people of Hellfire.” When the battle began, the man fought so fiercely that he was inflicted with many wounds.  I said, “O Messenger of ALLAH, was it this man you said is among the people of the Hellfire? Indeed, he fought so bravely and was killed.” The Prophet said, “He will go to Hellfire.” Some of the people began to have doubts as someone said he was alive although severely wounded. When the night came, the man lost his patience and he killed himself. The Prophet was informed and he said, “ALLAHU AKBAR! I bear witness that I am the servant of ALLAH and HIS Messenger.” He ordered Bilal to make an announcement among the peop...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 3rd day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Saturday, 9th of October 2021). TAU’BAH (SEEKING FORGIVENESS) is our topic. BismilLah.  It is the nature of mankind to be forgetful and to commit sins.  However, ALLAH has given us the ability to rectify ourselves by turning to HIM and begging for HIS forgiveness. Our mountains of evil deeds are nothing before the vast ocean of the mercy of ALLAH.    ALLAH has promised to forgive our sins as long as we regret for it and repent from it. Committing sins may make you sorrowful, depressed and deeply disappointed with yourself.  But if you return to ALLAH with a few tears and beseech HIM for mercy, HE will certainly forgive you.  There is no other door to knock to solve our issues.  None can forgive sins except HIM.  HE calls us to the abode of peace (Paradise); HE is the Almighty who hides our faults and HE alone can replace our bad deeds with good deeds. ALLAHU AKBAR.  T...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 1st day of Rabi-ul Awwal. (Friday, 8th of October 2021). QURAN AND SUNNAH ARE THE LIGHTS FOR MANKIND AND WITHOUT  BOTH IN YOUR LIFE, YOU ARE LOST IN THIS JUNGLE . BismilLah. From the beginning of mankind, our CREATOR, ALLAH sent prophets to convey HIS REVELATION and to invite human beings to the path of true PEACE and OBEDIENCE to the ONE TRUE ALLAH. This is ISLAM. This message is conveyed towards generations of man through the different prophets, all inviting mankind to the same path. However all the earlier messages or revelations from ALLAH were distorted by people of later generations. As a result, pure Revelation from our Creator was adulterated and polluted with myths, superstitions, idol worship and irrational philosophical ideologies. The religion of God in a sense was lost in a plethora of religions. Human history is a testament of man's drift between light and darkness, but ALLAH out of His Abundant Love for mankin...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 30th day of Safar. (Thursday, 7th of October 2021). WISH FOR OTHERS WHAT YOU WISH FOR YOURSELF. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality we are helping ourselves. When we pray for them, the angels pray for us. Fulfilling the rights of brotherhood in Islam is a means for ALLAH to support us and reward us in the Hereafter. Failing our brothers and sisters in Islam results in ALLAH withdrawing this support. Imam Abu Huraira may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH will make it easy for him in the world and the Hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH will conceal his faults in the world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: S...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 28th day of Safar. (Wednesday, 6th of October 2021). DO NOT MAKE LIFE DIFFICULT FOR YOURSELF . BismilLah. Imam Anas ibn Maalik may ALLAH be pleased with him  reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saw an old man being supported by his two sons. The Prophet said, “What is wrong with this man?” They said, “He has made a vow to walk to the Ka’bah.” The Prophet said, “Verily, ALLAH does not need this man to punish himself,” and he ordered him to ride on an animal. Swaheeh Bukhari 1766, Swaheeh Muslim 1642. Our mother Aaishah (Radiyallahu Anha) narrates: “Whenever the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) was given the choice of one of two matters; he would choose the easier of the two as long as it was not sinful to do so.” (Bukhari & Muslim). Therefore one should try choosing the easier matter in all circumstances and conditions because this is what ALLAH Almighty wants from us as ALLAH Almighty indicates in...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 27th day of Safar. (Tuesday, 5th of October 2021). REVIVING THE SUNNA. BismilLah.  Imam Abu Hurairah may ALLAH be pleased with him narrated that ALLAH’s Messenger sallallaahu Alaihi wasallam said: “If it were not that it would be difficult on my nation, then I would have ordered them to use the siwaak (tooth stick) for each prayer.” [Tirmidhi]. This hadith indicates the view of the Prophet towards the siwaak.  Another sunnah to revive is; Maintaining the 1/3rd rule in eating Miqdam bin Madikarib said: “I heard the Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam say: ‘A human being fills no worse vessel than his stomach. It is sufficient for a human being to eat a few mouthfuls to keep his spine straight. But if he must (fill it), then one third of food, one third for drink and one third for air.’” [Ibn Majah]. Maa Shaa ALLAH. AlhamdulilLah for HIS guidance. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 24th day of Safar. (Saturday, 2nd of October 2021). CURSING A MUSLIM OR SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT DESERVE THE CURSE. BismilLah. Many people do not control their tongues at times of anger, and are quick to curse people, animals, inanimate objects, days, hours, etc. They may even curse themselves and their children, or a husband may curse his wife and vice versa. This is a very serious matter. Let's study something about this.  Abu Zayd Thaabit ibn al-Dahhaak al-Ansari (may ALLAH be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: ". . . whoever curses a believer, it is as if he killed him." (Reported al-Bukhaari, see Fath al-Baari, 10/465).  Because cursing is more common among women, the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) explained that this would be one of the reasons for them entering Hell, and that those who curse will not have intercessors on the Day of Resurrection.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 26th day of Safar. (Sunday, 3rd of October 2021). HOW GOOD IS OUR EEMAAN? BismilLah.  Once a man asked the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), “What is Eeman (faith)?” He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) replied: “When your good deeds make you happy and your bad deeds make you sad, you have Eeman.” [by Imam Ahmad]. If you sin freely without feeling back but rather enjoy sinning then note that you are a Muslim by name (WaeezubilLah, ALLAH forbid). Firstly, what is good and what is bad? Suppose you immigrate to a country. Aren’t you bound to follow the rules in place there? Those were rules decided by human beings like you, but you are required to submit to them. You don’t have the right to live by rules you design for yourself that conflict with the system. For instance, if you decide to drive on the wrong side of the road, because you think that’s how it should be, it would be a disaster and you may be jailed right?  When we are ...
