THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 23rd day of Muharram. (Wednesday, 1st of September 2021). THREE SOURCES OF ALL SINS . BismilLah. Sheikh Ibn Al-Qayyim writes in his book Al-Fawaa’id: People may enter the Hellfire by three doors: the door of doubts which lead to uncertainty in the religion of ALLAH, the door of lusts which lead to preferring desires over obedience to ALLAH, and the door of anger which lead to aggression against HIS creation. The sources of every sin are three matters: arrogance which caused Satan behave the way he did, greed which caused Aadam to be expelled from the garden, and envy which emboldened one of the sons of Aadam against his brother. He who protects himself from these three matters will be protected from evil. Unbelief comes from arrogance, disobedience comes from greed, and transgression and injustice come from envy. Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “He will not enter Hellfire who...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 22nd day of Muharram. (Tuesday, 31st of August 2021). PERSISTENT SINS AND PERSISTENT IN SEEKING FORGIVENESS. BismilLah.  Some Muslim sisters and brothers do ask regularly, Would ALLAH forgive me for such and such sins?. SubhaaAllah, this kind of question is even forbidden to ask to be frank because ALLAH actually LOVE those who return to HIM seeking forgiveness regardless of how often we sin and ask for forgiveness.  ALLAH says; "Say to Mankind: O Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of ALLAH, verily ALLAH forgives ALL sins. Truly, HE is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful" (Quran 39:53). Allahu Akbar. Even if Shirk, just repent and seek forgiveness my dear.  In the Quran, ALLAH repeatedly reminds us that HE is the Forgiving and the Merciful. Read Quranic verses from suura Al-Furqan (Quran 25: 63-73) for a better understanding of these issue....
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-ithnayn, 21st day of Muharram. (Monday, 30th of August 2021). THE GATES OF GOODNESS . BismilLah. Narrated Mu'adh bin Jabal [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (ALLAH'S Messenger ) said to him: "May I show you the gates of goodness? (They are): (1) Fasting is a screen from Hell. (2) As-Sadaqah (deeds of charity in ALLAH'S Cause) extinguishes (removes) the sins, as the water extinguishes the fire. (3) Standing in Salat (performing of prayers) by a person during the middle (or the last third) part of a night." Then the Prophet (sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam) recited: "Their sides forsake their beds." (QURAN 32:16) (Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi) (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi). Search for the tafseer of this beautiful verse. May ALLAH, AL-GHAFOOR (The Forgiving, The Exceedingly Forgiving) aid us to be able to be steadfast in Fasting, given sadaqah and praying at night . Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 20th day of Muharram. (Sunday, 29th of August 2021). Purification of Our Souls _ * . * BismilLah . The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Macca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyatun-nafs).  ALLAH says: HE has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also ALLAH says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes  to ALLAH with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89. We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life. We must purify our hearts from spiritual sins such as greed, malice, envy, arrogance, and worldliness, fornication, stealing. In their place, we must adorn the heart with spiritual virtues such as learning the Quran and applying in our lifes, help...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 19th day of Muharram. (Saturday, 28th of August 2021). HOW TO BE RICH . BismilLah.. We are taught in Islam that if we want ALLAH to bless us more, we must appreciate the little we've got and be content. The more we complain about our suffering the worse we become due to lack of appreciation for the most important in life "OUR GOOD HEALTH". Even the sick person lying on bed helpless is encouraged to say Alhamdulillah as his or her sins are been wipe away due to the illness and you are complaining.    When we are content with what ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) has for us in this world, we will free our mind to work for our Hereafter. The freer we are to work for our Hereafter, the more we will accumulate for it.  The world rewards us primarily on the results we produce: But ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) rewards us on sincerity and effort. Been Rich means acquiring paradise through our faith, sincerity and trust in ALLAH. Imagine you be...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 18th day of Muharram. (Friday, 27th of August 2021). THE EVIL NATURE OF HYPOCRISY. BismilLah.  The hypocrites have many characteristics, the worst and most serious of which is disbelief in ALLAH. ALLAH says:  “And when it is said to them (hypocrites): Believe as the people (followers of Muhammad, Al-Ansaar and Al-Muhaajiroon) have believed,’ they say: ‘Shall we believe as the fools have believed?’ Verily, they are the fools, but they know not”[Quran 2:13]. Among their characteristics are enmity and envy (hasad) towards the believers, as ALLAH says  “If good befalls you O Muhammad, it grieves them, but if a calamity overtakes you, they say: ‘We took our precaution beforehand’ and they turn away rejoicing” [Quran 9:50]. Among their characteristics is mockery of ALLAH, HIS Messenger and HIS religion. ALLAH says:  “If you ask them (about this), they declare: ‘We were only talking idly and joking.’ Say: ‘Was it at ALLAH, a...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 17th day of Muharram. (Thursday, 26th of August 2021). LET'S UNITE AS MUSLIMS FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH . BismilLah. As the saying goes, ''Unity is Strength'' but unfortunately we have reduced Islam to rituals and forgotten other important tenets. Muslim unity is a Fard (obligatory duty) according to the Quran and Traditions of the Prophet Mohamed (peace and blessings be upon him). Consider the following From the Quran (49:10): ''The Believers are but a single Brotherhood: So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear ALLAH, that ye may receive Mercy. Also from the Quran (3:103): ''And hold fast, all together, by the rope which ALLAH (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude God's favour on you; for ye were enemies and HE joined your hearts in love, so that by HIS Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 16th day of Muharram. (Wednesday, 25th of August 2021). GOOD & BAD MANNERS, A SOURCE OF PARADISE OR HELL . BismilLah. Polite answer turns away anger and a kind word uttered in time may save us from many troubles true or false? True. It is politeness which succeeds while ability fails. Even a good action will lose its value if the person doing favor utters impolite words. It is on this note that we, as Muslims, should endeavor to learn from the Prophet Muhammad (sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam) who summarized the goal of his entire message into the perfection of the best of conduct in the beautiful hadith: “I have been sent to perfect the best of manners” ALLAH describes the Prophet and his ways as: "Indeed you stand on an exalted standard of character" (68:4). Unfortunately many  of us unintentionally fail to pay attention to the above hadith which is the very essence of the Islamic ma...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 15th day of Muharram. (Tuesday, 24th of August 2021).  JESUS CHRIST peace be upon him WAS MENTIONED 25 TIMES in the QURAN SO JESUS is the GREATEST . BismilLah. I guess many of you do get some of these assuptions from non Muslims right? A video was sent to me with such claims and I've spent some time to respond in full whoever is interested can request for the full response but to respond to this one I can say that The  no. of times a person is mentioned by name does not in and of itself make the person great. Also note that we Muslims believe in Jesus Christ peace beuponhim and part of our belief system is that he was a Muslim as all he did was based on ALLAH commands and support. Moses peace be upon him was mentioned by name 136 times in the Quran. Does that make him the greatest? EVEN Pharoah, the worse enemy of ALLAH was mentioned by name 74 times in the quran. So can it also be concluded that pharoah is greater than...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 14th day of Muharram. (Monday, 23rd of August 2021). SEEKING ALLAH'S SUPPORT IN OUR WORSHIP . BismilLah. Never feel confident that you will die in a state of sincerity and belief. Read and appreciate this remarkable request from Prophet Ibrahim to ALLAH in the Quran. And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said, “My Lord, make this city [Makkah] secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols.” [QURAN 14:35]. Do you realize what he asked for? He asked ALLAH to assist him and his children to not worship idols! If he, Ibrahim, one of the best humans who ever walked the face of this Earth was seeking ALLAH’s assistance towards not committing major association (shirk akbar) then what should we do? Ask yourself why we say laa hawla walaa Kuwata illaa bilLah whenever we hear hayya alas salaat and fallah? that's ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul ahad, 13th day of Muharram. (Sunday, 22nd of August 2021). SECRECY of PRIVATE MATTERS (Guarding Secrets) . BismilLah. In the Holy Quran. ALLAH, the Exalted, says: "And fulfill (every) covenant. Verily! The covenant, will be questioned about.'' (17:34). In Hadith, Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (May ALLAH be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of ALLAH (sallallahualaihiwasallam) said, "The most evil of the people to ALLAH on the Day of Resurrection will be the man who consorts with his wife and then publicizes her secret. [By Imam Muslim]. Islam treats conjugal union as a sacred and secret act, both in social and moral terms. Indeed, the sanctity of conjugal rights contributes to the consolidation of moral norms and social cohesion. Yet, what passes between wife and husband on the consummation night is usually taken in a light vein in our societies. In the morning, both of them relate their sexual experience to their friends respectively. T...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 12th day of Muharram. (Saturday, 21st of August 2021). COVERING OTHERS FAULTS IN ISLAM . BismilLaah. Imam An-Nawawi may ALLAH be pleased with him records in his book Riyad us-Saliheen that: ALLAH the Exalted says: إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَن تَشِيعَ الْفَاحِشَةُ فِي الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ Verily, those who like that immorality should be spread among the believers will have a painful punishment in this world and in the Hereafter. ALLAH knows and you do not know. Surah An-Nur 24:19. SubhaanAllah, astaqgfirullah. May ALLAH have mercy on us all. Abu Huraira may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: لَا يَسْتُرُ عَبْدٌ عَبْدًا فِي الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا سَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ A servant does not cover the faults of another servant but that ALLAH will cover his faults on the D...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 11th day of Muharram. (Friday, 20th of August 2021). Effects of Zina (Fornication, Adultery) before marriage . BismilLah. Zina (either illicit fornication for those never-before-married, or adultery for those who have been married) is one of the vilest and gravest sins a Muslim can commit, after ascribing partners with ALLAH, murder, and disobedience to one’s parents. In the Qur’an, right after the prohibition of killing one’s children, ALLAH Most High says: “And do not even go close to Zina! Truly, it is a gross obscenity and an evil path (to go down).” [al-Quran, 17:32] This verse is not just about prohibiting the act of zina itself, rather, we are told not even to go near it through anything that may lead or invite to it. This is why the pre-marital contact of an unrelated man and woman for unnecessary reasons is not allowed in Islam, even if marriage is the eventual goal. This kind of relationship before marriage only invite curs...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 10th day of Muharram. (Thursday, 19th of August 2021). QUESTION: As a Muslim convert smoker, fornicator etc many years ago, I find it difficult if not impossible to fast and stop these evil actions. I haven't been successful to fast a single day in my life. I need advice please. BismilLah.  In response to this question, Lets note that One of the purposes of the practice of fasting in Islam is to help us overcome our destructive habits and create positive and life-enhancing habits and thus prepare us to face the challenges of life. Therefore, if you were to fast and turn to ALLAH for help, you can beat your smoking and other bad habits. Many people have overcome such unhealthy habits through fasting; so many of them have quit smoking, fornication etc expecially during the month of Ramadhan after having addicted to it for ten to twenty years or even more; they have never turned back. Even without Ramadhan, we have weekly fastings of ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 9th day of Muharram. (Wednesday, 18th of August 2021). HOW TO DISCIPLINE OURSELVES TOWARDS OBEDIENCE TO ALLAH. BismilLaah. As human beings, each of us has a shortcomings. Whoever acknowledges that he or she has shortcomings has started on the path to self-discipline. This acknowledgement is one of the things that make us discipline ourselves and be persistent in doing so and seeking forgiveness regularly. This acknowledgement should not put you off disciplining yourself. It is a sign of ALLAAH’s care when a person tries to change himself and develop, as ALLAAH says:  “Verily, ALLAAH will not change the condition of a people as long as they do not change their state themselves”[al-Ra’d 13:11]. Whoever strive to change for the sake of ALLAH, ALLAH will help him to change.  Each person is individually responsible for his own self, and will be questioned individually, as ALLAH says:  “There is none in the heavens and the earth b...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 9th day of Muharram. (Tuesday, 17th of August 2021). FASTING FROM TODAY. BismilLah.  I hope majority of us are fasting today be-iznilLah. Sorry  for not reminding you yesterday but you can decide to fast if you've not eaten  already. Fasting in Muharram is very beneficial especially by stepping up our efforts to fast on Mondays, Thursdays and the 3 white days of 13th, 14th and 15th of each Islamic month. In this blessed month we are encouraged to fast on the 9th, 10th and 11th just to ensure we don't miss the day of Ashuurah in which we Muslims fast in commemorating the rescue of the people of Israel by Musah alaihi Salaam (Moses) from Pharaoh as recommended by the Prophet Mohammed sallallahu Alaihi wasallam.  Imam Ahmad said: whoever wants to fast ‘Ashuura’ should fast on the ninth and the tenth, unless there is some uncertainty about the date, in which case he should fast for three days. Ibn Sireen said that. A...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-ithnayn, 8th day of Muharram. (Monday, 16th of August 2021). SEEKING FORGIVENESS REGULARLY. BismilLah.  As Muslims, we must always strive to seek forgiveness and mercy of ALLAH as our main dua on daily basis. ALLAH is truly Merciful and The mercy of ALLAH is more beloved to the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam than the entire world. In an authentic narration from Musnad Aḥmad 21857,  may ALLAH be pleased with him, The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, is reported to have said, “I would not love to have the world or anything in it in exchange for this verse: "O my servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of ALLAH. Verily, ALLAH forgives all sins, for ALLAH is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” (39:53). AlhamdulilLah.  Regardless of your sins, just regret it, aim not to repeat such sins, seek help and forgiveness from ALLAH and be hopeful ALLAH has forgiven you. Never doubt the...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 7th day of Muharram. (Sunday, 15th of August 2021). EFFECTS OF SINS IN OUR LIFE CONTINUES FROM YESTERDAY'S REMINDER. BismilLah.  The sinner will find darkness in his heart, which he will feel just as he feels the darkness of night. So this darkness affects his heart as the physical darkness affects his vision. For obedience is light and disobedience is darkness. The stronger the darkness grows, the greater becomes his or her confusion, until he falls into innovation, misguidance and other things that lead to doom, without even realizing. This darkness grows stronger until it covers the eyes, then it grows stronger until it covers the face, which appears dark and is seen by everyone. ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Abbaas said: “Good deeds make the face light, give light to the heart, and bring about ample provision, physical strength and love in people’s hearts. Bad deeds make the face dark, give darkness to the heart, and bring about physical weakn...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 6th day of Muharram. (Saturday, 14th of August 2021). EFFECTS OF SINS IN OUR LIFE. BismilLah.  Lets note that ALLAH created us all with Pure clean heart. The sins we commit causes darkness to the heart. When the heart becomes dark it means the heart cannot accept the blessings of ALLAH till we act to polish back the heart to become pure through obedience to ALLAH, more istighfaar and good actions for ALLAH sake. Majority  of the difficulties we face in life is bcs of our sins even though ALLAH do test HIS loyal believers even if without sins but majority of our difficulties are due to our sins. If you organize a research now why marriages are collapsing, large percentage is caused by beginning the marriage with sinful acts and disobedience to ALLAH from both couple or from one of the couple within the marriage.  In Musnad Imam Ahmad May ALLAH be pleased with him, it is narrated that Thawbaan said: “The Messenger of ALLAAH (...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 5th day of Muharram. (FRIday, 13th of August 2021). HOW TO TASTE THE SWEETNESS OF EEMAAN. BismilLah.  To taste the sweetness of eeman, one must be convinced of ALLAH’s existence having a firm belief in HIM as the only Supreme Being and Deity who is worthy of worship. One must put his full trust in ALLAH (SWT) and accept HIM as his Lord and Master (RABB). Thus the statement, I am pleased with ALLAH as my Lord, (Radiitu Bil-Lahi Rabba). The word, radiitu, in the hadith comes from the root (Ra Da Wa), which carries several meanings. It means, to acknowledge, to accept, to confirm, to approve, to be satisfied with, to be content with and to be pleased with, among other meanings. The statement Radiitu Bil-Lahi Rabba, conveys all these meanings and the implications of such a statement are: 1) Rida bil-uluhiyyah: To accept, be content and pleased with ALLAH (SWT) as the Lord of all that exist. In other words, nothing in the heavens nor on ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 4th day of Muharram. (Thursday, 12th of August 2021). MY WIFE IS TOO DEMANDING, HOW DO I HANDLE HER, CAN I DIVORCE HER IF I CANNOT AFFORD HER FINANCIAL DEMANDS?. BismilLah.  The wife has no right to mistreat her husband by asking him for too much and expecting him to exhaust himself in spending on her; that is bad treatment indeed. Perhaps if you grant her some of her reasonable requests and remind her, gently and tactfully, of the requests that you have fulfilled, you may be able to lessen her anger somewhat and persuade her to stop asking for more. You could also discuss with her, quietly and without resorting to arguing, how important her requests really are and how necessary it is to keep a certain amount for things that are more important, like paying the rent and so on. This may also persuade her to stop asking. Know that what you lack in financial resources can be compensated for with kind words and promises for when things ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 3rd day of Muharram. (Wednesday, 11th of August 2021). DOES A WIFE WHO IS EMPLOYED HAVE TO PAY/SHARE THE HOUSEHOLD EXPENSES?. BismilLah.  This is a sensitive question to our modern marriages especially those of us living abroad. I will try to cover this topic base on Qur'an, Sunnah and Consensus of Muslim scholars without been bias towards the husband or wife in shaa ALLAH but please bear with me on the length.  Husband and wife should come to some agreement concerning this issue  and avoid any dispute concerning it. With regard to how that should be done, this depends on a number of things: 1. If the husband stipulated in the marriage contract that expenses are to be shared otherwise he will not let the wife work, then the Muslims are bound by their conditions, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “The Muslims are bound by their conditions, except for conditions which forbid something that is perm...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 2nd day of Muharram. (Tuesday, 10th of August 2021). IS THE WIFE ENTITLED TO A MONTHLY ALLOWANCE FROM THE HUSBAND?. BismilLah.  Scholars based on Qur'an and sunnah has explained that What the husband must do is spend on his wife on a reasonable basis, which includes the costs of accommodation, food, drink, clothing, and includes medical treatment and medicine etc.  With regard to food, drink and clothing, that is because ALLAH, may HE be exalted, says: “but the father of the child shall bear the cost of the mother’s food and clothing on a reasonable basis” [al-Baqarah 2:233]. The Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) said: “Their rights over you are that you should provide for them and clothe them on a reasonable basis.”Narrated by Muslim (1218).  Our wives are not our slaves, they are our companions on earth and in Paradise be-iznilLah (ALLAH willing). Even slaves had rights in Islam. We must treat them...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 1st day of Muharram. (Monday, 9th of August 2021). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Alhamdulillah for granting us another blessed day of the week. We MUST strive to say Alhamdulillah regularly regardless of any situation you find yourself and always remember those you are better than not those above you in anything. Back to our topic.  Before climbing onto bed, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on your right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atle...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 29th day of Dhul Hijjah. (Sunday, 8th of August 2021). THE DANGERS OF THE EVIL EYE.  BismilLaah  Imam Muslim, Ahmad and al-Tirmidhi narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (may ALLAH be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The evil eye is REAL.  The evil eye is like an arrow which comes from the soul of the one who envies, sometimes it hits him and sometimes it misses. If the target is exposed and unprotected, it will affect him, but if the target is cautious and armed, the arrow will have no effect and may even come back on the one who launched it. THAT'S WHY THE PROPHET ADVICED US NOT TO DISCLOSE A GOOD DREAM ONE HAS TO ANY EXCEPT TO ONLY THOSE WHO LOVE YOU. THAT'S ANOTHER WISDOM WHY ALLAH COMMANDED US TO LOWER OUR GAZE AND DRESS PROPERLY ESPECIALLY OUR SISTERS.  WHEN PROPHET YUSUF(JOSEPH) SAW A DREAM ACCORDING TO...The Noble Quran 12:4 إِذْ قَالَ يُوسُفُ لِأَبِيهِ يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّى رَ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 28th day of Dhul Hijjah. (Saturday, 7th of August 2021). WISDOM BEHIND WUDUU (Ablution) CONTINUES. BismilLah.  Let's conclude on our topic on wuduu.  Afte the face, the arms are washed. For, when a person does a bad deed, the tongue speaks first; then, the eyes see it; after that, the arms catch or hold them and become the accomplice of the bad deed. Therefore, it is an appropriate deed to wash the hands, which take the second step to obey Satan after the tongue and the eyes, in order to purify it from the visible impurities through water and invisible impurities through begging Allah.  The third fard of wuduu is to wipe the head. The fact that wuduu wants to encourage a person to do spiritual cleaning along with material cleaning is seen the most clearly in the wiping of the head. For, according to the Islamic tradition, a person does not usually walk around with his head uncovered; it is generally covered. Even if it is u...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 27th day of Dhul Hijjah. (Friday, 6th of August 2021). WISDOM BEHIND WUDUU (Ablution) CONTINUES. BismilLah.  Let's note the fards or compulsory parts of wuduu which are: To wash the face, the two hands and arms including elbows, to wipe the head and to wash the two feet including the heels. There are wisdoms behind wuduu in terms of protection from sins Our religion orders us to wash certain parts of the body (to make wuduu) before standing in the presence of ALLAH. The divine aim here is not only cleaning these parts from visible dirt and dust but also from the spiritual and invisible impurities of the sins they have committed through the water of repentance and asking for pardon. Besides, there are deep wisdoms behind the order of washing these organs or parts aside what I mentioned yesterday. The first part that is fard to wash is the face. For, there are organs like the mouth (tongue), nose and eyes that are used primarily to co...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 26th day of Dhul Hijjah. (Thursday, 5th of August 2021). WHY IS WUDUU(Ablution) SO IMPORTANT. BismilLah.  Wuduu(Ablution) is so important even in terms of health because it cleans the organs that are exposed to dirtiness and that are always in contact with things outside like hands, face, mouth, teeth, nose, head and feet. The ways through which microbes could penetrate the body are cleaned at least five times a day Alhamdulillah; thus, many diseases are prevented; the nervous system and the circulatory system of the body then functions better. Wuduu actually eliminates anger and calms the spirit. Therefore, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) advised a person who becomes angry to make wuduu. (Abu Dawud, Adab, 3; Musnad, 4/226) Wuduu is a spiritual weapon of a believer and a spiritual shield against invisible dangers. Alhamdulillah.  A Muslim who makes wuduu is purified and cleaned from both material and spiritual impurit...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 25th day of Dhul Hijjah. (Wednesday, 4th of August 2021). Real Meaning of  "Inna lillaahi  wa innaa ilayhi Raaji'uun. BismilLah.  As Muslims we are thought to accept the decisions of ALLAH in our lives in good faith. Just like a friend who lends you his book. And then after a few days, he wants it back and you give it back to him…no regrets…..no sorrow….no questions asked. Just think…..The Owner came and took it back. Remember….that you're not the real owner…..you were NEVER the real owner to begin with. You only had everything because it was ALLAH who gave it to you in the first place. If HE didn't give it to you, you wouldn't have had it in any way…in fact, you couldn't have had it. Remember….man enters into this world empty handed…and leaves it empty handed. Remember….that everything we have, all the blessings we enjoy, are gifts from Almighty ALLAH....gifts that we enjoy for a limited period until HE takes them...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 24th day of Dhul Hijjah. (Tuesday, 3rd of August 2021). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah.  Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing.
