 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis. 5th day of Dhul-Hijjah (Wednesday, 15th July 2021). GOOD CHARACTER IS PART OF OUR IDENTITY AS SERVANTS OF ALLAH. BismilLah. 


It is upon us as individuals, to examine the shortcomings in our character, and to then seek to improve them - modeling ourselves upon the character of the last of the Prophets and Messengers, and their leader, Muhammad (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), aspiring also for the excellence which he mentioned in his saying: "I am a guarantor for a house on the outskirts of Paradise for whosoever leaves off arguing, even if he is in the right; and a house in the center of Paradise for whosoever abandons falsehood, even when joking; and a house in the upper-most part of Paradise for whosoever makes his character good." [Related by Aboo Daawood (no.4800) and al-Bayhaqee (10/249), from Aboo Umaamah (radiyallaahu ‘anhu). It was authenticated by al-Albaanee in as-Saheehah (no.273). As we fast in these blessed days of Dhul Hijjah, let's ensure we edit our bad characters as well to achieve the desired results and rewards from ALLAH. 


May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any acts bad manners. Aameen.
