SOME BASIC RULINGS OF GATHERING. BismilLah. 


The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

It is not lawful for a man to sit between two people unless he has their permission. Sunan Abu Dawud 4845.


The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, would say when leaving an assembly:

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ

O ALLAH, glory and praise be to YOU. I testify there is no GOD but you, I ask your forgiveness and I repent to YOU. A man said to him, “O Messenger of ALLAH, you have spoken words never you have uttered before.” The Prophet said:

كَفَّارَةٌ لِمَا يَكُونُ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ

It is an expiation for what happens during the assembly. Sunan Abu Dawud 4859. So AlhamdulilLah hope you've just learned what to say just when leaving any gathering together. 

May ALLAH aid us in our effort to practice whatever we learn. Aameen.
