A man came to Sheikh Abdul Aziz Ibn Baz complaining that he wishes to have a child and that has been waiting for seven years but no luck……. Sheikh Ibn Baz answered him with one sentence, he said: Increase Istighfaar (Asking

ALLAH for forgiveness by saying AstaghfirulLAH) Sincerely and stop sinning. After one year this man came back to Sheikh Ibn Baz and said: Ya Sheikh I got the child I wanted AlhamdulilLah. 


A man came to the famous Sheikh Al Hassan Al Basri and said: The sky is not raining. Al Hassan said: commit to lots of Astaghfirullah. Another man walked in and said to Al Hassan: I suffer from poverty. Al Hassan answered: seek forgiveness by saying Astaghfirullah lots. Then another man walked in and said to Al Hassan: My wife does not bare children. Al Hassan said: seek forgiveness by saying Astaghfirullah lots. The people who were present at the Majlis of sheikh Al Hassan said: how come every time someone comes to you with an issue you just recommend Istighfaar? Sheikh Al Hassan answered: Didn’t you read the words of ALLAH when HE says: 


ﻓَﻘُﻠْﺖُ ﺍﺳْﺘَﻐْﻔِﺮُﻭﺍ ﺭَﺑَّﻜُﻢْ ﺇِﻧَّﻪُ ﻛَﺎﻥَ ﻏَﻔَّﺎﺭًﺍ  10 ( ﻳُﺮْﺳِﻞِ ﺍﻟﺴَّﻤَﺎﺀَ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻜُﻢْ ﻣِﺪْﺭَﺍﺭًﺍ ) 11 ( ﻭَﻳُﻤْﺪِﺩْﻛُﻢْ ﺑِﺄَﻣْﻮَﺍﻝٍ ﻭَﺑَﻨِﻴﻦَ ﻭَﻳَﺠْﻌَﻞْ ﻟَﻜُﻢْ ﺟَﻨَّﺎﺕٍ ﻭَﻳَﺠْﻌَﻞْ ﻟَﻜُﻢْ ﺃَﻧْﻬَﺎﺭًﺍ ﴾ 

And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, HE is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. HE will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers, And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers. [71:10-12]. Allahu Akbar, all these is just in Dunya…..what about the Akhirah!!? Isn’t it enough that Istighfaar protects the believer from the punishment. 


ALLAH promised not to punish us for our mistakes in two conditions, the first: while the Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him is among us and we all know that chance is no longer valid. The second condition was seeking forgiveness ALLAH says: 


﴿ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻛَﺎﻥَ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ ﻟِﻴُﻌَﺬِّﺑَﻬُﻢْ ﻭَﺃَﻧْﺖَ ﻓِﻴﻬِﻢْ ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻛَﺎﻥَ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ ﻣُﻌَﺬِّﺑَﻬُﻢْ ﻭَﻫُﻢْ ﻳَﺴْﺘَﻐْﻔِﺮُﻭﻥَ 

But ALLAH would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad], are among them, and ALLAH would not punish them while they seek forgiveness [8:33]. Allahu Akbar. 


So this is a promise from the Lord of heavens and earths, what more do you need to start implementing this in your life? Our fourth Khalifa of Islam imam Ali Bin Abi Talib may ALLAH be pleased with him said: It is surprising to see someone perish while he has the tool of survival, they said: what is it? He said: Al Istighfaar. Allahu Akbar. Why cant we commit to say AstaghfirulLah 100x or 1000x minimum on daily basis after each salaat?  May ALLAH aid us in implementing this simple act. Aameen.

ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless.   THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 29th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 10th February 2024). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊.
