DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a 17th day of Sha'abaan (Wednesday 31st March 2021). THE BEAUTY OF BROTHERHOOD IN ISLAM. BismilLah.  Brotherhood in Islam is a comprehensive concept that is based upon good character with others, treating others the way we want to be treated, and uniting together upon common values. The believers are but brothers, so make reconciliation between yourselves and fear ALLAH that you may receive mercy. Quran 49:10. Brothers here mean a faith-based community that includes both men and women as brothers and sisters in religion. ALLAH says: The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give charity and obey ALLAH and HIS Messenger. ALLAH will have mercy upon them, for ALLAH is Almighty and Wise. Quran 9:71. ALLAHU AKBAR.  Let...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha, 16th day of Sha'abaan (Tuesday 30th March 2021). THE VIRTUE OF RECONCILIATION. BismilLah.  As Muslims we must strive to forgive each other and reconcile between ourselves if we want ALLAH to forgive us and grant us successful life on earth and afterwards.  Imam Abu Huraira may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The gates of Paradise are opened on Mondays and Thursdays. ALLAH forgives every servant who does not associate anything with him except a man with hatred between himself and his brother. It will be said: Delay these two until they reconcile, delay these two until they reconcile. Sahih Muslim 2565. SubhaaAllah today we are not only hating each other, we are killing each other astaqfirulLah. Reconciling people is a branch of faith and an Islamic moral code through which grudges are eliminated, hearts are purified, and flames of fitnah are extinguished. ALLAH ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 15th day of Sha'abaan (Monday 29th March 2021). RECONCILIATION AND HARMONY AS RAMADAN APPROACHES. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem.  Imam An-Nawawi may ALLAH be pleased with him records in his book Riyad us-Saliheen: ALLAH the Exalted says: لَّا خَيْرَ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِّن نَّجْوَاهُمْ إِلَّا مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ إِصْلَاحٍ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ No good is there in much of their private conversation, except for those who enjoin charity or kindness or reconciliation between people. Surat An-Nisa 4:114. There are lots of such sayings from ALLAH such as: Settlement is best. Surah An-Nisa 4:12. The believers are but brothers, so make reconciliation between your brothers and fear ALLAH that you may receive mercy. Surat Al-Hujurat 49:10.  As we read from what ALLAH says and especially the fact that RAMADAN is fast approaching, let's strive to forgive whoever has wronged us and reconcile for ALLAH sake. We gain nothing aside mak...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 14th day of Sha'abaan (Sunday 28th March 2021). KINDNESS IS OBLIGATORY EVEN TO NON MUSLIMS. BismilLah.  ALLAH says: Worship ALLAH and associate nothing with HIM, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. Scholars interpreted the “neighbor farther away” to mean not only proximity, but one who is further away in religion or beliefs. Al-Qurtubi comments on this verse, saying: I say based upon this verse, kind treatment of neighbors is enjoined and is recommended, whether they are Muslim or an unbeliever, and this is the right thing to do. Kind treatment may be in the sense of helping or it may be in the sense of being kind, refraining from harm, and supporting them. Source: Tafseer Al-Qurtubi 4:36 Islam teaches us to beware of hatred, malice, and the intention to harm others. They are spiritual diseases of the heart whose consequences are destructive to the...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 13th day of Sha'abaan (Saturday 27th March 2021). NOT CLEANING ONESELF PROPERLY AFTER EASING OURSELVES. BismilLah.  Our beloved MessengerofALLAH to Mankind Muhammad (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said that "most of the punishment of the grave will be because of urine." (Reported by Imaam Ahmad, 2/326; see also Saheeh al-Jaami', 1213). Not cleaning oneself properly after urinating also includes undue haste in completing the action, or deliberately urinating in a position or place where the urine can come back on oneself, or failing to clean oneself afterwards, or not cleaning oneself properly. Modern imitation of the kuffaar has reached such an extent that some rest rooms for men contain wall-mounted urinals which are open to view, so a person who uses them is urinating in full view of anyone who comes and goes with no shame, in the midst of impurity. Thus he combines two abhorrent and forbidden acts in one deed: not...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 12th day of Sha'abaan (Friday 26th March 2021). THE RIGHT WAY TO RESPOND TO THOSE WHO OFFEND US. BismilLah.  If you are having trouble with your family, In laws? Spouse? Relatives?..... The best way to maintain a healthy relationship is to always forgive and forget. No one is perfect. All perfections ONLY belongs to ALLAAH. Whether people speak evil of us, in our presence or behind our back, or they do evil to us in either of those ways, all is known to ALLAH Almighty. It is not for us to punish. Our best course is not to do evil in our turn, but to do what will best repel the evil. Two evils do not make a good. ALLAH Almighty in the Noble Qur'an commands us in several places to return the evil that is done to us by others to not only with good, but with best! ALLAH says in the Quran; "The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e. ALLAH orders the faithful believers to be patient at...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-khamis, 11th day of Sha'abaan (Thursday 25th March 2021). USING RAMADAN AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PURIFY OUR SOULS. BismilLah.  Ramadhan Fasting is not only about abstaining from food and drink but it is also about abstaining from anger, backbiting, jealousy, greed, thinking ill of people; and all the other diseases of the heart. Purification of the soul from the illnesses of the heart is not an easy task and the person who is able to free him/herself from these unhealthy qualities is truly the successful one.  ALLAH (swt) says: “And [by] the soul and HE who proportioned it; And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and righteousness, he has succeeded who purifies it.” (Qur’an, 91:7-9). We all suffer from the constant annoying whispers of the shaytan (devil) that just won’t go away, thus making the task of purification even more difficult but that's a task for us. For this reason, the blessed month of Ramadan is an ideal time to wor...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a, 10th day of Sha'abaan (Wednesday 24th March 2021). WHAT WILL YOUR EXCUSE BE TOMORROW BEFORE ALLAH?Bismillah.  ALLAH has commanded us to adhere firmly to His religion, as He says (interpretation of the meaning): “Hold firmly to that which ALLAH has given you” [al-Baqarah 2:63]. Religion is a serious matter that distinguishes truth from falsehood, it is not a thing for amusement [Quran 86:13]. Many people do not take the matters of their religion seriously, and they offer feeble excuses. This is one of the signs of the Munaafiquun (hypocritesS), who take their religion for mockery and fun [Quran 5:57], and when they are rebuked or advice is offered to them, they come up with excuses which in fact are worse than the sin for which they are offering these excuses. Thus people come up with excuses one after another, for major and minor sins alike, in a failed attempt to avoid feeling guilty and avoid the advice of sincere people. Let's fear...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha, 9th day of Sha'abaan (Tuesday 23rd March 2021). If I have a cold (runny nose, sneezing, stuffiness), should I break my fast?, How severe an illness must be, in order to warrant breaking the fast in Ramadhan? Bismillah. Let's remind ourselves that fasting is not a burden on us but a given opportunity to wipe our sins and be so called born again Muslim. You are allowed to break your fast only if fasting makes your illness worse or prevents you from taking medication that you must take for the treatment. In the case of the common cold, you are not allowed to break your fast unless the cold is unbearable for you, and you are not able to function properly without taking medication. If you think this is the case, then you should break your fast, for ALLAH says to the nearest meaning, "Hence, whoever of you lives to see this month (i.e. Ramadhan) shall fast throughout it; but he or she that is ill, or on a journey struggling to keep y...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 8th day of Sha'abaan (Sunday, 22nd March 2021). PREGNANT AND BREASTFEEDING WOMEN IN RELATION TO FASTING IN RAMADAN. BismilLah.  First of all, let me remind all that, a husband CANNOT fast to cover his wife's missed Ramadan fastings.  With regards to Breastfeeding mothers and also pregnant women, two scenarios may apply:  1. If the woman is not affected by fasting, and fasting is not too difficult for her, and she does not fear for her child, then she is obliged to fast, and it is not permissible for her not to fast.  2. If the woman fears for herself or her child because of fasting, and fasting is difficult for her, then she is allowed not to fast, but she has to make up the days that she does not fast after Ramadan.  In this situation it is better for her not to fast, and it is makrooh or descouraged for her to fast.  ALLAH says concerning one who is sick; “and whoever is ill or on a journey facing difficulti...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul ahad, 7th day of Sha'abaan (Sunday, 21st March 2021). LET'S SPEAK WITH CARE. BismilLah.  As Ramadan approaches, let's strive to change our complete ways of life including how we speak to others etc. We must always be wary of the words that slip out of our mouths. ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) has appointed angels to record the deeds, both good and bad, of the children of Aadam (alaihis salam). These are the angels referred to in the Ayaat: “But verily, over you (are appointed angels) to watch you, Kiraaman Kaatibeen, writing down. They know all that you do.” [Quran 82:10-12]. ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) says: “(Remember) that the two receivers (recording Angels), one sitting on the right and one on the left. Not a word does he (or she) utter but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it).” [Quran 50:17-18]. Ibn Katheer may ALLAH  be pleased with him mentioned that Imaam Ahmad used to moan when he was sick. Then he heard that Taawoos (one of ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 6th day of Sha'abaan (Saturday, 20th March 2021). There are those who fast while they do not pray Salaat, Will their fast be accepted?. BismilLah.  Salaah is the most fundamental pillar of Islam; it is the hallmark of faith and the key to paradise. So, no one can exaggerate the importance of salaah in Islam. We read in the Qur'an: "On the Day of Judgment, those in hellfire will be asked, 'Why are you in hell?' they would answer, because we were not among those who used to pray, nor were in the habit of feeding the poor. Rather, we were simply indulging with those who used to indulge and we used to deny the Day of Reckoning until death came upon us." (Qur'an 74: 43-47). Therefore, no Muslim can afford to neglect the salaah without risking his salvation. The Prophet (peace be upon him) stressed the crucial nature of salaah when he said, "The covenant between us(Muslims) and them(non Muslims) is marked by salaah; s...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 5th day of Sha'abaan (Friday, 19th March 2021). RAMADAN PREPARATIONS IN SHA'ABAAN. BismilLah.  The Arrival of the Sha’baan moon brings with it numerous blessings. Just as a farmer prepares for a fruitful harvest by harrowing his acreage so that the soil may readily retain water; in contrast our souls are geared by the presence of such blessings in Sha’baan effectively preparing us for a fruitful and completely advantageous Ramadan.  The month of Sha’abaan is one of the meritorious months in the Islamic calendar and it is reported in an authentic hadith that the Holy Prophet (sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to fast most days in this month. Although these fasts are not obligatory, but those of us who fast Mondays, Thursday and the 3 white days each month should continue in preparation for Ramadan. Please remember today is Friday, our weekly eid.  Let's prepare well for it.  May ALLAH (Azza wa Jal, The Mighty and The Majes...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 4th day of Sha'abaan (Thursday, 18th March 2021). STAY AWAY FROM BAD FRIENDS. BismilLah. Many of our brothers and sisters start practicing the deen and decide wholeheartedly to progress on the straight path. Yet, shortly after, they find themselves retracting instead of progressing. In many cases, this goes back to either being alone and not having righteous companions, or having the wrong companions. Both cases are very dangerous on one’s spiritual development. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him) had Sahaaba (companions). He actually didn’t need them and if ALLAH willed, HE could have supported him with countless number of Angels to aid him in whatever he needed as ALLAH did in the battle of Badr. But ALLAH made the sahaaba (companions) of the Prophet a significant part of this deen and this path. It is as though ALLAH Almighty is teaching us that this path NEEDS righteous companions. As a matter of fact, ALLAH ordered us in Su...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ar-ba'a, 3rd day of Sha'abaan (Wednesday, 17th March 2021). WHO IS THE DRIVER IN YOUR LIFE? Bismillah.  As Ramadan approaches, it's important to renew our relationship with our Creator, ALLAH. Please note that No matter how overloaded a bus is, the driver's seat is always reserved. Who is the driver of your life? No matter how busy your schedules are...always remember to reserve a seat for the driver of your life and that's ALLAH not your job,  husband, wife, father, mother etc but ALLAH so make your priority in life to please HIM and fear no one else in your efforts to Please ALLAH and ALLAH will then help you to deal with other challenges.  Frankly and truthfully, ALMOST ALL OUR DIFFICULTIES in life are due to the fact that we've made someone or something else as our driver in life and human beings can only fail you if you make them your priority other than ALLAH. For most people, job, partner, parents, children etc are their dri...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 2nd day of Sha'abaan (Tuesday, 16th March 2021). *_SEEKING CONTINUES GUIDANCE FROM THE CREATOR, ALLAH REGULARLY AS MUSLIMS_*. BismilLah.  Good guidance is ALLAH’s greatest gift to mankind. Those who accept this guidance are termed Muslims. The name of the guidance is Islam. That's to submit or surrender to the guidance of the Creator. We cannot do without HIS guidance. Our lives will be absolutely of any meaning, unless we acknowledge ALLAH and worship HIM as HE alone deserves to be worshipped. As long as we have right guidance, we would know where we came from and where we’re going to when we die. As Muslims, we are very lucky because we don’t even have to hunt and search for the right guidance as non Muslims are struggling with. In the Holy Quran and the life of the Final Messenger Muhammad peace be upon him, we find all the guidance we need to be successful. Every time we recite Suurah Faatihah, we begin by thanking and praising...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 1st day of Sha'abaan (Monday, 15th March 2021). ARE YOU READY FOR RAMADAN?. BismilLah.  Many of us are aware of the real nature of fasting in the month of Ramadaan, so we start to prepare from Sha’baan, and some of us even start before that. Among the best ways of preparing for the month of Ramadaan are:  Sincere repentance; This is obligatory at all times, but because of the approach of a great and blessed month, it is even more important to hasten to repent from sins between you and your Lord, and between you and other people by giving them their rights, so that when the blessed month begins you may busy yourself with acts of worship with a clean heart and peace of mind. ALLAAH says:  “And all of you beg ALLAAH to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful”[al-Noor 24:31]. With the current situation of Coronavirus, we must return to ALLAH through total submission and be Muslims by action not by mouth and ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul ahad. 1st day of Sha'abaan (Sunday, 14th March 2021). EXPIATION FOR TRANSGRESSION AGAINST RIGHTS OF OTHERS.  Bismillah.  We all know that ALLAH forgive all sins if we sincerely regret and seek forgiveness. Today's reminders will focus on sins against others which we all know ALLAH does not forgive unless those we offended forgives us.  With regard to sins that have to do with the rights of other people, they can only be expiated by repenting from them. One of the conditions of repenting from them is restoring the rights of those who have been wronged.  Imam Muslim narrated from ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘As (may ALLAH be pleased with him) that the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “The martyr will be forgiven for all his sins except debt.” Al-Nawawi.  The words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) “except debt” draw attention to all rights owed to other people. Jiha...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 29th day of RAJAB (Saturday, 13th March 2021). ISTIQFAAR IS THE SECRET WEAPONG. BismilLah.  A man came to Sheikh Abdul Aziz Ibn Baz complaining that he wishes to have a child and that has been waiting for seven years but no luck……. Sheikh Ibn Baz answered him with one sentence, he said: Increase Istighfaar (Asking ALLAH for forgiveness by saying AstaghfirulLAH) Sincerely and stop sinning. After one year this man came back to Sheikh Ibn Baz and said: Ya Sheikh I got the child I wanted AlhamdulilLah.  A man came to the famous Sheikh Al Hassan Al Basri and said: The sky is not raining. Al Hassan said: commit to lots of Astaghfirullah. Another man walked in and said to Al Hassan: I suffer from poverty. Al Hassan answered: seek forgiveness by saying Astaghfirullah lots. Then another man walked in and said to Al Hassan: My wife does not bare children. Al Hassan said: seek forgiveness by saying Astaghfirullah lots. The people who were ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 28th day of RAJAB (Friday, 12th March 2021). UNLAWFUL EARNED MONEY. BismilLah.  One of the companions of the Prophet once said to the Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam): “Pray to ALLAH that HE may accept my prayers.” The Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Eat lawful food and for that your Dua or prayers will be accepted.” Notice that the Prophet did not just start praying for him but advised him to ensure his source of income is halaal and ALLAH will then answer his dua.  If you feel that your prayers are not being answered, look into the source of your income. Scrutinize it carefully. Are you going against any of ALLAH'S ’s injunctions to earn it?  Whatever a person spends to take care of another, or in charity, or in the Path of ALLAH, ALLAH is capable of supporting HIS servants and projects as such its important we give in charity only what we earn lawfully else you get no rewards. Ram...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis. 27th day of RAJAB (Thursday, 11th March 2021). LET'S AVOID COMPLAINTS OF ANY NATURE. BismilLah.  The believer is rewarded for every matter by gratitude and patience. For better for worse, just say AlhamdulilLah.  Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I am amazed by the believer. If he is granted goodness, he praises ALLAH and is grateful. If he is afflicted with a calamity, he praises ALLAH and is patient. The believer is rewarded for every matter, even lifting a morsel of food to his wife’s mouth.” Musnad Ahmad 1495. Let's note that our worries does not resolve any issues we faces, we can only complain to ALLAH for help for whatever difficulties we faces. Lack of appreciation for the little we have especially our good health is the source of our struggling.  May ALLAH aid us to practice as the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam taught u...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ar-ba'a. 26th day of RAJAB (Wednesday, 10th March 2021). ZINA (FORNICATION) IS A MAJOR SIN AND SHAMEFUL ACT, STOP IT AND AVOID IT AS WE APPROACH RAMADAN. BismilLah.  Islam is a way of life that must go with the rules of the Creator (ALLAH), If you are panicking and fear Coronavirus, why not the Creator?.  ALLAH, the Almighty God, commands in explicit and unequivocal words: "And come NOT NEAR unto ZINA. Lo! it is an abomination and an EVIL way" (Quran 17: 32). Thus, Islam does not only prohibit illicit sex (Zina), but also closes all the doors, avenues and means leading to it. This is achieved by prohibiting every step and means leading to stimulating desires, opening ways for illicit sexual relations between men and women, and promoting indecency and obscenity. Zina causes lots of mess in life including lack of religious commitment, loss of piety, corruption of chivalry, lack of protective jealousy. You will not find any zaani(Fornicator...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 25th day of RAJAB (Tuesday, 9th March 2021). DO NOT ENVY SOMEONE'S SUCCESS. BismilLaah.  If we envy someone and try to disgrace them, ALLAH will humiliate us. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever defends the honor of his brother (fellow muslim), then ALLAH will protect his face from the Hellfire on the Day of Resurrection.”Sunan At-Tirmidhi 1931.  The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not rejoice over your brother’s misfortune, lest ALLAH have mercy upon him and subject you to trials. ‘Sunan At-Tirmidhi 2506. The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and women, then ALLAH will record a good deed for him for each believing man and woman.”Musnad Ash-Shamiyeen At-Tabarani 2118.  We ask ALLAH to forgive our evil deeds, protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al Ithnayn. 24th day of RAJAB (Monday, 8th March 2021). HOW TO TALK TO ALLAH DIRECTLY. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Quran 2:186: When MY servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning ME, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon ME. So let them respond to ME [by obedience] and believe in ME that they may be [rightly] guided. Allahu Akbar.  ALLAH is talking to me and you directly that when we sincerely believe in HIM as our LORD and Obey HIS rules, then we have nothing to fear. Find the right times such as at night near fajir, well dressed, offer at least 2 rakaats and in your last sujuud, cry to ALLAH through any language. Continue this regularly and purify your income, obey your parents, avoid committing various kinds of sins and be rest assured ALLAH is sufficient for HIS sincere Servants. May ALLAH keep guiding us all, aid us to stop committing sins and protect us from any satanic influences, May ALL...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Ahad. 23rd day of RAJAB (Sunday, 7th March 2021). RULINGS ON REPEATED SINS. BismilLah.  It's not the nature of a true believer to keep commiting the same sins after repenting *BUT* never give up repenting regardless of how many times you commit the sins till Satan is defeated as ALLAH is always ready to forgive whenever we call on HIM sincerely.  Al-Haafiz Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali said:  Ibn Abi Dunya narrated with his isnaad that imam Ali may ALLAH be pleased with him said: “The best of you is every tempted one who repents (i.e., every time he is tempted by this world, he repents).” It was said, “What if he sins again?” He said, “He should ask ALLAH for forgiveness and repent.” It was said, “What if he sins again?” He said, “He should ask ALLAAH for forgiveness and repent.” It was said, “What if he sins again?” He said, “He should ask Allaah for forgiveness and repent.” It was said, “For how long?” He said, “Until the Shaytaan is def...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 22nd day of RAJAB (Saturday, 6th March 2021). HAVE YOU LOST HOPE IN ALLAH?. BismilLah.  There is this one sin that we keep falling in again and again…and again. We keep on repenting and seeking forgiveness but we fall into it again and again. You give up. You submit to doing more sins. You think you’re hopeless. You fill your heart and mind with dark/desperate/hopeless thoughts. You think you’re worthless. You drown in negativity and desperation. At the end, those with no or weak eemaan commit suicide. AstaghfirulLah.  If you fall in these category of Muslims, then Stop This Now! It's an insult to ALLAH AstaghfirulLah.  Never buy into this satanic influences! Never. The battle is not over. You didn’t lose. You have the power to come back stronger and more triumphant than you ever were. ALLAH’s Mercy and Forgiveness are there for You! Yes for you! The only loser is the one who whispers to your thoughts of hopelessness and de...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Jumuat. 21st day of RAJAB (Friday, 5th March 2021). FRIDAY KHUTBAH. BismilLah. AlhamdulilLah for blessing us with another blessed day of the week. Let's prepare for this day and fear ALLAH in all we do as death is approaching us.  Our death and meeting with our Creator is approaching and yet our biggest worry is what are we going to wear and eat tomorrow? in competition. One day you'll just be a memory for people, and a lesson to others. Do everything you can to please ALLAH, be a positive lesson. Just imagine how many people were here with us last year or even yesterday, but are no longer here again and forever! Even our turn is soon approaching. May ALLAH forgive us an forgive them. We walk with our heads high up in the sky, unaware that one day we'll be trapped 6' Feet under the ground. You look for the latest fashion and designer clothes, but don't forget O' Son of Adam! You will end up being wrapped up in just a white ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm al-khamis. 20th day of RAJAB (Thursday, 4th March 2021). ACT ONLY TO PLEASE ALLAH. BismilLah.  All mankind and jinnkind except ALLAH, will perish:  "Whatsoever is on it [the earth] will perish; but the Face of our Lord, full of Majesty and Honor will abide forever.”Quran 55-26/27. So how could we not consider the Pleasure of ALLAH: to be our ultimate goal for which we strive and break away from whatever opposes it, so that we can have recourse to ALLAH'S protection and delight in HIM?  ALLAH commanded the Prophet to tell us that we should flee to ALLAH front HIS Torment to HIS Mercy Verily, I Muhammad, I am a plain Warner to you from HIM.” [Surah Az-Zariyat (51), Ayah 50. The Pleasure of ALLAH, Mighty is HE, is an objective before which all other objectives diminish in importance:  "And ALLAH is better [as regards reward in comparison to your reward], and more lasting [as regards punishment in comparison your punishment." [Sura...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm arba'a. 19th day of RAJAB (Wednesday, 3rd March 2021). DO WE REALLY APPLY IN OUR DAILY LIFE WHAT WE LEARN FROM ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER? Bismillaah. We learnt so many things on daily basis but do not act on them unfortunately and this is due to satanic influences which we must declare war against. We have learnt that, if we say SINCERELY "Subhaanallaahi wa bihamdiHi Subhaanallahil Atheem" a hundred times, our sins would be forgiven, even if they were as much as the foam of the sea Yet, several days and nights go by us and yet, some do not do it. The time has come NOW, at this moment, We need to change our life styles and attitudes and make the best preparation we can for the DAY OF JUDGEMENT... (The day when a man would run away from his brother, from his mother, from his father, from his beloved wife, and even our own children Because every one would have more than enough problems of his own to worry about. So glad tidings to the one who...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm ath-thalaatha. 18th day of RAJAB (Tuesday, 2nd March 2021). GOOD LEADERSHIP CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED THROUGH PATIENCE AND CERTAINTY IN OUR TRUST IN ALLAH. BismilLaah. ALLAH who is free from all imperfections, has informed us that good leadership is obtained through patience (sabr) and certainty (yaqeen). The Exalted said:  And I have made from among them (His Creation), leaders, giving guidance  under My Command, when they were patient and believed with certainty in My Signs. [Soorah as-Sajdah (32):24]. Therefore, it is by patience and certainty that leadership in the religion is obtained. This means that whatever position you are offered, you must be patient  and have strong faith in ALLAH to guide you through regardless of what position it is even parents on their children, supervisors and managers at work, imams in our masaajids, husbands on wives etc. Firm faith in ALLAH through patience in whatever happens is the source of successf...
