THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 2nd day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Friday 15th January 2021).

KINDS OF WATER FOR PURIFICATION continues. BismilLah.

Leftover Water: This is water that is leftover after something drank from it. This is divided into what or who has drank from the water. Water leftover after people drank from it. This water is considered pure whether the individual was Muslim, Non-Muslim, menstruating or non-menstruating. The reference in the Qur’an that states “Verily the Mushrikeen are impure” (9:28) is referring to their impurity in beliefs and creed, not physical impurity.

Water leftover after an animal drank from it, whose meat is permissible for consumption. Such water is considered pure and allowed for purification. Water leftover after being drank by a donkey, mule, beasts or birds of prey. Such water is also considered pure and usable for purification. This is based on a few ahadīth that mention that we are allowed to drink from a pond after beasts have already drank from it.

Water remaining in a pot after a cat drank from it. This water is also considered pure.

Hadīth narrated by Kabshah bint Ka’b who mentioned that Qatādah fed a cat water that he was going to drink from, and he said that the Messenger said, “It (the cat) is not impure, it is of those that intermingle with you.” (From “the five” it is Sahīh)

Water leftover after a pig or dog drank from it. This water is considered impure and to be avoided. Hadīth narrated by Abū Hurairah: “If a dog drinks from one of your containers, wash it seven times.” (Ahmad & Muslim). Their saliva are impure. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 30th day of Rajab 1446AH, Thursday. 30th Jan. 2025). MEANING OF ALLAH CREATING HUMANS IN HIS OWN IMAGE.  BismilLah. Unfortunately, other faiths have made a serious mistake in trying to compare The CREATOR, ALLAH Azzawajal with HIS Creation human beings in physical appearance, and that's blasphemy and serious error  Sheikh AbuAmina, in one of his articles, explained that, in Islam, we believe that all people have been created in the “image” of ALLAH Azzawajal. But what does this mean? ALLAH Azzawajal is the creator of everything, including all people. That people are in the “image of ALLAH Azzawajal” means they are in the form that HE, ALLAH Azzawajal has chosen and honored for them, not that they resemble ALLAH Azzawajal in physical appearance or share in the Divine Essence. Just as we say a righteous person is the “servant of ALLAH” and a mosque is the “house of ALLAH” as a way to honor them, likewise is it an added dignity for pe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat and Yaumul Aashuura. 10th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Friday, 28th July, 2023). SPECIAL EID DAY FOR US ALL. BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn. Today mark the day ALLAH humiliated HIS worse enemy on earth Fir'awn for his disbelief in ALLAH and claiming he was ALLAH. We are all fasting on this blessed day seeking forgiveness from ALLAH for our sins from last year till date as the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam recommended.  Those who are unable to fast can still do much to earn lots of rewards especially our sisters and daughters in their monthly cycle. You can recite lots of azkaar and give sadaqah with your intention to seek forgiveness from ALLAH. Please remember today is Friday lets strive to go to Masjid early and also remember to send salutations to our...
