 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 3rd day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Saturday 16th January 2021). DUA AFTER THE FIRST TAKBEER. BismilLah. 


Alhamdulillah for guiding and blessing us with Islam and especially salaat which we offer minimum 5 times a day seeking the Pleasure of ALLAH in return for paradise. Its important to note that the salaat we offer does not have specific rewards. Our rewards depends on how perfect we offer the salaat according to the Sunnah not as we wish. How we dress, perform wudhu, stand, concentrate etc in salaat are key towards acceptance and perfection of our salaat. We must learn how the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam prayed and what he said at what stage etc. One dua the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam never missed just after the first takbeer before even reciting faatihah is as follows;

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلاَ إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ

Transliteration: Subhanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika wa tabaarakasmuka, wa ta’aalaa jadduka wa laa ilaaha ghairuk

Translation: ‘Glorious You are O ALLAH, and with Your praise, and blessed is Your Name, and exalted is Your majesty, and none has the right to be worshipped but YOU. This comes from two sources Jami At-Tirmidhi Hadith 242 and 243.


Let's strive to learn how to worship ALLAH properly as we will be buried alone and we will account for whatever we did with our time. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
