THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul ithnayn. 29th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani. (Monday 14th December. 2020).MEANING OF ALLAH CREATING HUMANS IN HIS OWN IMAGE.  BismilLah.

Unfortunately, other faith have made a serious mistake in trying to compare The CREATOR, ALLAH with HIS Creation human beings in physical appearance and thats blasphemy and serious error.

Sheikh AbuAmina in one of his articles explained that, In Islam, we believe that all people have been created in the “image” of ALLAH. But what does this mean?

ALLAH is the creator of everything, including all people. That people are in the “image of ALLAH” means they are in the form that HE, ALLAH has chosen and honored for them, not that they resemble ALLAH in physical appearance or share in the Divine Essence. Just as we say a righteous person is the “servant of ALLAH” and a mosque is the “house of ALLAH” as a way to honor them, likewise is it an added dignity for people to be acknowledged as existing in the “image of ALLAH.” An image ALLAH has made that requires our respect to that physical appearance without disfiguring it or saying someone is urgly for instance is an insult to ALLAH bcs that's how ALLAH made that image for whatever reasons ALLAH knows best. If you see a handsome face like mine 😊 then say Maa Shaa ALLAH, meaning ALLAH has moulded this image beautifully but can you say ALLAH has made this image ugly? NO AstaghfirulLah.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

خَلَقَ اللَّهُ آدَمَ عَلَى صُورَتِهِ طُولُهُ سِتُّونَ ذِرَاعًا

ALLAH created Aadam in HIS image, sixty cubits tall. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi

In another narration, the Prophet said:

إِذَا قَاتَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَجْتَنِبْ الْوَجْهَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ آدَمَ عَلَى صُورَتِهِ

If one of you fights his brother, then let him avoid the face. Verily, ALLAH created Aadam in HIS image. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2612, Grade: Sahih.

The pairing of the human image with ALLAH is an expression meant to bestow inherent dignity upon every human being, simply by virtue of their humanity.

Imam Al-Nawawi comments on this tradition, saying:

وَقَالَتْ طَائِفَةٌ يَعُودُ إِلَى اللَّهِ تَعَالَى وَيَكُونُ الْمُرَادُ إِضَافَةَ تَشْرِيفٍ وَاخْتِصَاصٍ

A group of scholars said the ‘image’ is attributed to ALLAH Almighty and the meaning is an additional honor and privilege. Source: Sharḥ al-Nawawī ‘alá Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2612.

ALLAH is Al-Musawwir, the Maker of images. HE has chosen and honored the human form, so it must not be desecrated and disrespected in any way and must not be emulated that's why it's forbidden in Islam to draw images of living things especially human beings. ALLAH knows best. Have a blessed day ahead under ALLAH guidance till you hear from me again tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullah wabarakaatuh.

May ALLAH keep guiding us all and increases us in beneficial knowledge. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
