THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-khamis. 16th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Thursday. 31st December. 2020). DO YOU THINK ABOUT WHEN YOU WILL DIE, HOW YOU WILL DIE, PUNISHMENT OF THE GRAVE AND JUDGEMENT DAY? Bismillah.  We love to hear about Jannat or Paradise and quick to say Aameen when dua about ALLAH granting us Jannatul Firdaus is mentioned. Do we regularly think about death and judgement day? We must strive to do good deeds all the time and strive to avoid sins all the time because one day is coming we will be buried like we bury corn and will be resurrected like the corn get germinated to either develop good corn or bad ones.  Believe in prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam salvation through faith and good deeds and you shall be saved in shaa ALLAH. We always think of Valentine's day, Birth day Father's day, Mother's day, Children's day, Our day, Farmer's day, Teacher's day, Christmas day Independence day, Boxing day, This day, That day, Day in Day o...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 15th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Wednesday. 30th December. 2020). GIVING UP HOPE IN LIFE IS AN ACT OF KUFUR (DISBELIEF). BismilLah. As Muslims its important we study our Deen (religion) and apply the teachings in our daily ways of life. How can a Muslim be even worried in life after all the Promises of ALLAH and HIS Messenger? This life on earth is a live journey to Paradise for all Muslims who belief and practice and in every journey there are obstacles isn't it? Imagine you walking from one village to the city for a very important reason, your focus is the destination not the problems you face on your way isnt it? We all want to enter PARADISE and the journey maybe difficult as ALLAH promised to test us in Quran 2:155.  ALLAH also promised a way out of any difficulties, read Quran 65:2-3. So why are you mourning? Don't you trust your lord who feed the birds, insects etc? ALLAH even says through difficulties comes ease so why are you ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul ithnayn. 13th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Monday. 28th December. 2020). HOW TO PROTECT OUR MARRIAGES. BismilLah.  One of the most striking and most alarming hadiths that draw our attention to a major problem we may not be paying attention to is the following. Please read it carefully: Allah’s Messenger SAW said: “Iblis places his throne upon the sea; he then sends his agents, the evil jinns to the entire world on daily basis; the nearer to him in rank are those who are most notorious in creating dissension. One of them will return and says: “I did so and so.” And he says: “You have done nothing.” Then one amongst them comes and says: “I did not spare so and so until I sowed the seed of discord between a husband and a wife.” The Satan goes near him and says: “You have done well. He then embraces him.” [Sahih Muslim]. So to Iblis (Satan/Shaytan/the accursed devil) there is an ultimate goal considered most beloved and pleasing to him. This is: bre...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 12th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Sunday. 27th December. 2020). HOW SOME OF THE COMPANIONS TRADED WITH ALLAH. BismilLah.  Abdullah bin Mas`ud said, “When this Ayah, [مَّن ذَا الَّذِى يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ] (Who is he that will lend ALLAH handsome loan: then (ALLAH) will increase it manifold to his credit (in repaying), was revealed, Abu Ad-Dahdah Al-Ansari said, `O ALLAH'S Messenger! Does ALLAH ask us for a loan‘ The Prophet said, «نَعَمْ، يَاأَبَا الدَّحْدَاح» (Yes, O Abu Ad-Dahdah He said, `Give me your hand, O ALLAH’s Messenger,’ and the Prophet placed his hand in his hand. Abu Ad-Dahdah said, `Verily, I have given my garden as a loan to my Lord.’ He had a garden that contained six hundred date trees; his wife and children were living in that garden too. Abu Ad-Dahdah went to his wife and called her, `Umm Ad-Dahdah!’ She said, `Here I am.’ He said, `Leave the garden, because I have given it as a loan to my ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 11th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Saturday. 26th December. 2020). INVESTMENT WITH ALLAH. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in the Holy Quran:  “O you who believe! Spend of that with which ME ALLAH have provided for you, before a Day comes when there will be no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession. And it is the disbelievers who are the Zaalimoon (wrongdoers)” [al-Baqarah 2:254]. “The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of ALLAH, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. ALLAH gives manifold increase to whom HE wills. And ALLAH is All-Sufficient for HIS creatures’ needs, All-Knower. 262. Those who spend their wealth in the Cause of ALLAH, and do not follow up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury, their reward is with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve” [al-Baqarah 2:261-262]. Allah, the Exalted, says: “And whatsoever y...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 10th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Friday. 25th December. 2020). EID DAY. BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah for granting us another blessed day of the week which is our weekly eid.  This blessed day for the servants of ALLAH, The Almighty GOD is sadly the day some are associating partner with ALLAH and lying against our beloved Messenger of ALLAH Issah Alaihi salaam. They are committing the worse shirk saying Issah Alaihi salaam is the son of ALLAH and even celebrating his birthday today which he never initiated and even using the idol tree to represent the birth of a Messenger of ALLAH AstaghfirulLah. This same so called Christmas tree was used by the pagans of the past for their idols read Jeremiah 10 vrs 3 going to confirm for yourself in the Bible so as Muslims lets stay away from this shirk and praise ALLAH more today whilst they commit their shirk.  ALLAH commanded the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam to inform mankind that HE i...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-khamis. 9th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Thursday. 24th December. 2020). MARRIAGE THROUGH PARENTS OR RELATIVES. BismilLah.  The sad reality of the weak MUSLIM society today is that most sisters wants to meet thier man themselves, sometimes even commit haraam activities with intention to get to know each other before marriage AstaghfirulLah. Such non Islamic means of getting married is forbidden in Islam and mostly lead to early divorces. Obedience to ALLAH and HIS Messenger must be our priority whenever we intend to do anything. Next is obedience to our Parents. The best for a sister is for her parents to strive and find a good practicing Muslim brother and recommend him to their daughter and the best is if your parents present such a brother to you, don't just ignore but research about him and if you notice he is a good practicing muslim please accept and trust me, ALLAH will make the Marriage a successful one because of accepting what your pa...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 8th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Wednesday. 23rd December. 2020). TRUE SERVANTS OF ALLAH HAS A UNIQUE ATTRIBUTE. BismilLah. ALLAH says in the Quran; And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace. Al-Furqan 25:63 ALLAH is telling us the attributes of the believing servants of HIM, those who walk on the earth "Hawna", meaning that they walk with dignity and humility, not with arrogance and pride. This is like the Aayah: وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى الاٌّرْضِ مَرَحًا And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance... (17:37). So these people do not live on earth with arrogance or pride. This does not mean that they should walk like sick people, making a show of their humility. What is meant here by Hawn is serenity and dignity, as the Messenger of ALLAH said: When you come to the prayer, do not come rushing in haste. Come calmly and with t...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha. 7th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Tuesday 22nd December. 2020). QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL MUSLIM CONTINUES. BismilLah.  Let's conclude with our topic above. ALLAH continued by saying in Quran  23:4-11 وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِلزَّكَوٰةِ فَٰعِلُونَ  And those who pay the Zakah. If you are eligible to pay zakaat please do not ignore as you cannot be a successful Muslim without paying your zakaat.  وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِفُرُوجِهِمۡ حَٰفِظُونَ  And those who guard their Private parts from any haraam activities.  وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَٰعُونَ  Those who are faithfully true to their Amaanat and to their covenants, When they are entrusted with something, they do not betray that trust, but they fulfill it, and when they make a promise or make a pledge, they are true to their word. وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَوَٰتِهِمۡ يُحَافِظُونَ  And those who strictly guard their Salawaat, means, they pe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 6th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Monday 21st December. 2020). QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL MUSLIM CONTINUES. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our topic yesterday. ALLAH continued by saying  وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَنِ ٱللَّغۡوِ مُعۡرِضُونَ  And those who turn away from Al-Laghw. Al-Laghaw refers to falsehood, which includes Shirk, sin, and any words or deeds that are of no benefit. As ALLAH says in Quran (25:72): وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِاللَّغْوِ مَرُّواْ كِراماً And if they pass by Al-Laghw, they pass by it with dignity.  It basically means a Muslim must avoid associating with people who like talking for fun without any benefits. People can gather and talk talk talk and nothing beneficial aside gossiping, backbiting, slandering etc and a Muslim must stay away from such gathering or find a way of changing the topic into beneficial talk such as asking beneficial Islam topic so that any learned around can respond to turn the conversation...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad. 5th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Sunday 20th December. 2020). QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL MUSLIM. BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah for granting us another day which is an opportunity to keep striving, repenting etc till death knock on us. As Muslims we must also strive to be better and there are some qualities ALLAH has mentioned in the Quran to help us in our efforts.  ALLAH says in Quran 23:1-10: قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُوْمِنُونَ Successful indeed are the believers, means, they have attained victory and are blessed, for they have succeeded. These are the believers who have the following characteristics: الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلَتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَ Those who are humble and submissive during their Salaah or when they are praying. Meaning their concentration is high and very attentive during their prayers. If you cannot concentrate in your salaat thats a serious matter that you need to find solution for. There are couple of recommendations to help us c...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 4th day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Saturday 9th December. 2020). STOPPING EVIL IS OBLIGATORY ON US ALL. BismilLah.  ALLAH says; “You (true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and his Sunnah) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma‘roof (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al‑Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden)”[Aal ‘Imraan 3:110]. ALLAH says again “Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma‘roof (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:104]. “Those among the Children of Israel who disbelieved were cursed by the tongue of Dawood (David) and ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). That was b...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-khamis. 2nd day of Jumaadal Awwal. (Thursday 17th December. 2020). FEAR OF PEOPLE INSTEAD OF ALLAH(Al-Ghaffar, The Ever Forgiving). BismilLah. Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri (ALLAH be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Let not fear of the people prevent one of you from saying the truth if he knows it.”(Authenticated by Imam Ahmad 11459). Islam orders the Muslim to be honest to himself and others. This order repeatedly comes in the Noble Qur'an and the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam). Islam orders the Muslim to tell the truth even if it is against the teller's interest. Orders him not to cheat or deceive other people. A Muslim is ordered by ALLAH (As-Salaam, The Ultimate Source of Peace) to be honest in his words and deeds, privately and publicly alike.  Honesty in words implies telling the truth in all cases and under all conditions. Honesty also implies fulfilling the promise, w...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha. 30th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani. (Tuesday 15th December. 2020). DO NOT LIE EVEN IN JOKES. BismilLah.  Lying is a satanic tool that only damages our blessings from ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty and the Majestic). The blessings and guidance of ALLAH is already in abundance setup by ALLAH just like we have electricity in our homes but been regulated by a switch. We just need to switch the blessings of ALLAH through good deeds, truthfulness etc. Let's pick an incidence in the Quran to know the seriousness of lying even if through jokes.  Aaisha r.a herself reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would spend time with his wife Zainab bint Jahsh and he would drink a concoction of honey. Hafsa and I agreed that whomever the Prophet visited first, we would say, “I notice a strong odour of mimosa gum on you.” The Prophet visited one of them and she said this to him, so the Prophet said: بَلْ شَرِبْتُ عَسَلًا عِنْدَ ز...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul ithnayn. 29th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani. (Monday 14th December. 2020).MEANING OF ALLAH CREATING HUMANS IN HIS OWN IMAGE.  BismilLah. Unfortunately, other faith have made a serious mistake in trying to compare The CREATOR, ALLAH with HIS Creation human beings in physical appearance and thats blasphemy and serious error.  Sheikh AbuAmina in one of his articles explained that, In Islam, we believe that all people have been created in the “image” of ALLAH. But what does this mean? ALLAH is the creator of everything, including all people. That people are in the “image of ALLAH” means they are in the form that HE, ALLAH has chosen and honored for them, not that they resemble ALLAH in physical appearance or share in the Divine Essence. Just as we say a righteous person is the “servant of ALLAH” and a mosque is the “house of ALLAH” as a way to honor them, likewise is it an added dignity for people to be acknowledged as existing in the “image of...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul ahad. 28th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani. (Sunday 13th December. 2020). DUA WHEN ENTERING AN EMPTY or VACANT HOME. BismilLaah Abdullah ibn Umar (may ALLAH be pleased with him) said: When someone enters a vacant home, he should say, “As-Salaamu ‘Alaynaa wa ‘Alaa ‘Ibaad-Allah-is-Saliheen” (“Peace be upon us and on the righteous salves of ALLAH.”). Collected by Bukhari in Adabul Mufrad 1055]. Sheikh Al-Albani (may ALLAH rest him in Jannah) said, “This narration establishes an Islamic regulation for entering a vacant house or your house when no one is inside. This practice coincides with the order of spreading salaams found in some authentic hadeeth. Furthermore this agrees with the verse, “When you enter your houses greet one another with: As-Salaamu Alaikum…[ An-Nur 61]. Therefore based on this verse and narration from Ibn Umar (may ALLAH be pleased with him) Ibn Hajr held it was recommended to say, “Peace be upon us and on the righteous salves of ALLA...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 27th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani. (Saturday 12th December. 2020). Protection against Spiritual Attacks. BismilLah. Among the most important means of warding off the danger of sihr(spiritual attack) before it happens is seeking protection regularly as prescribed in Islam, making du’aa’ and reciting prayers seeking refuge that are narrated in the Quran and from the Prophet sallallahu alaihe wassallam. These include: 1. Seeking refuge with ALLAH from the jinns(spiritual beings). ALLAH says in the Quran, “And if an evil whisper comes to you from Shaytaan, then seek refuge with ALLAH. Verily, HE is All-Hearer,  All-Knower”. [al-A’raaf 7:200]. The Prophet recommended what to say when we are angry or annoyed to avoid Satan taken over our behaviour at that moment which is: ‘A’uudhu Billaahi min al-Shaytaan il-rajeem (I seek refuge with ALLAH from the accursed Shaytaan).’” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3108; Muslim, 2610). in another narration, you ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 26th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani. (Friday 11th December. 2020). ALLAH IS SUFFICIENT FOR HIS SERVANTS. BismilLah. Alhamdulillah for blessing us with another blessed day of the week.  ALLAH(Almighty GOD) is sufficient for us, and HE is Al-Wakeel(the best disposer of affairs). Aren't you proud to be a servant to our CREATOR of the entire Universe and beyond? Lets rely on HIM alone bcs HE is Sufficient for us and none can help us without HIS permission and none can harm us without HIS permission so keep your obedient to ALLAH intact and fear none.  Our beloved MessengerofALLAH SallallahuAlaihiWasallam recommended us to Say: "Tawakaltu Alallah, hasbunallah wani'emal wakeel" meaning ALLAH is sufficient for me or us and the best disposer of all affairs in life. Allahu Akbar.  Please remember today is Friday. Let's strive to recite Suuratul Kahf, sending lots of salutations to the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam for our own ben...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-khamis 25th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani. (Thursday 10th December. 2020). STRENGTH LIES IN UNITY AND WEAKNESS IN DIVISION. BismilLah. Let's consider this moral story.  A father had a family of sons who were perpetually quarreling among themselves. When he failed to heal their disputes by his exhortations, he determined to give them a practical illustration of the evils of disunion; and for this purpose he one day told them to bring him a bundle of sticks tied with twine, and said to his oldest son: "Break it in pieces." Oldest son tried and tried, but with all his strength, he could not break the bundle. The other sons also tried, but none of them was successful. "Untie the bundle," said the father, "and each of you take one stick." When they had done so, he said to them: "Now, try to break your stick." Each stick was easily broken. "You see my meaning," said their father. He then addressed them in ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a 24th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Wednesday 9th December. 2020). LET'S STRIVE TO BE GOOD TO OTHERS. BismilLah. Imam Abu Huraira may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Charity is due upon every joint of the people for every day upon which the sun rises. Being just between two people is charity. Helping a man with his animal and lifting his luggage upon it is charity. A kind word is charity. Every step that you take towards the mosque is charity, and removing harmful things from the road is charity. Sahih Bukhari 2827, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. Our mother Aaisha may ALLAH be pleased with her reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, heard the loud voices of two men in a dispute at a door. One was asking the other to lessen his debt and was pleading with him to show leniency, and the other said, “By ALLAH, I will not do that!” The Messenger of ALLAH came ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha 23rd day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Tuesday 8th December. 2020). THE REALITY OF DUNYA (This World). Bismillah.  According to Islamic Teachings by the CREATOR, ALLAH, HE says HE created this world as a place of striving (Eager in doing good and following HIS way) and the Hereafter is the place of reward or punishment, where the sincere believers will be rewarded with Paradise and the disbelievers/ oppressors/ wrong dowers etc will be punished with Hell. Paradise is good and none but those who are good will enter it. Only ALLAH determines what is good or not and all that is ONLY within Islam nowhere else. ALLAH is Good and accepts nothing but that which is good. So the way of ALLAH with HIS slaves is to test us with calamities and tribulations, so that the believer may be known from the bad people/hypocrites and so that the truthful may be distinguished from the liar, as ALLAH says: “Do people think that they will be left alone because...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn 22nd day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Monday 7th December. 2020). MEANING OF ISLAM? BismilLah.  The first thing that one should know and clearly understand about Islam is what the word "Islam" itself means. The religion of Islam is not named after a person as in the case of Christianity which was named after Jesus Christ, Buddhism after Gotama Buddha, Confucianism after Confucius, and Marxism after Karl Marx. Nor was it named after a tribe like Judaism after the tribe of Judah and Hinduism after the Hindus. Islam is the true religion of "ALLAH" and as such, its name represents the central principle of ALLAN'S religion; the total submission to the will of ALLAH. The Arabic word "Islam" means the submission or surrender of one's will to the only true CREATOR worthy of worship by name "ALLAH" in Arabic and GOD in English and anyone who does so is termed a "Muslim", The word also implies "...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad 21st day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Sunday 6th December. 2020). HOW TO HANDLE OBSTACLES IN LIFE. Bismillah.  If you are trying to follow ALLAH'S  guidance, but you find yourself confronted by obstacles and hardship, don’t despair. The hardship is probably a sign that you are on the right path. Consider our Prophets (may ALLAH bless them all) who faced tremendous obstacles: The Prophet Ibrahim (alayhis-salam, peace be upon him) was disowned by his family and thrown by his people into a blazing fire; ALLAH rescued him from that, and made him the father of two nations Through Ismaaael and Ishaaq may ALLAH'S blessings be upon them. ALLAH inspired the mother of the baby Musah (as) and told the mother to place her infant into a chest and send it floating down the River Nile. That must have been an enormously difficult plan to follow, but she trusted her Lord, with the result that an entire people were eventually freed from bondage. ALLAH AKB...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt 20th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Saturday 5th December. 2020).HELPING OTHERS AND SEEKING ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality we are helping ourselves. When we pray for them, the Angels pray for us. Fulfilling the rights of brotherhood in Islam is a means for ALLAH to support us and reward us here on earth and the Hereafter. Failing our brothers and sisters in Islam results in ALLAH withdrawing this support. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH will make it easy for him in the world and the Hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH will conceal his faults in the world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat 19th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Friday 4th December. 2020). MORAL ADVICE. BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah for granting us another blessed day of the week. I hope we all prepare well for Jumuat salaat today and please remember to recite Suuratul Kahf and also send salutations to our beloved Messenger of ALLAH Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam abundantly.  As Muslims, let's strive to Surround ourselves with good practising Muslims  who are always advising us to be conscious of ALLAH. They are our only True Friends in this Life and in the Hereafter. Not everybody is out there to judge you, there are some who want the best for you and want to help you get into Al-Jannah, value them. Don't blame them to be Judgemental. The one to tell you your faults is your true friend. Indeed, a friend who doesn't care about your Aakhirāh (hereafter) is not really your friend. Sometimes the hardest person for you to correct is yourself. There is no shame in...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-khamis 18th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Thursday 3rd December. 2020). OUR TOPIC TODAY IS ON BETRAYAL. BismilLah.  One of our soul's defects that brutally affects our ties with our Creator, ALLAH as well as our relationships with others is betrayal. Betraying is an unfaithful act characterized by deliberate but hidden deceiving, lying and scheming. Because of the intentional secretive planning that is involved in betrayal, its victims are always taken by surprise. The most harmful consequence of betraying is the sudden and abrupt destruction of the bond of trust, loyalty, and confidence that exists in different kinds of social relations. This results in a deep sense of disappointment and serious damage of the integrity of such relationships. ALLAH says in Quran 8:27 to the nearest meaning  "O you who believe, do not betray ALLAH and the Messenger, and do not betray those who trust you, now that you know. Students of the Quran know that a...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a 17th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Wednesday 2nd December. 2020). RULING ON COMBINING TWO SALAAT AT A TIME. BismilLahir. Studies of the Quran, Sunnah and Consensus of Scholars has shown that it is permissible to combine ONLY two salaat at a time. These two are Zuhur/Asr and Magrib/Isha.  Meaning you cannot combine asr and magrib etc.  It is permissible for the person who is travelling to combine two prayers if it will be too difficult for him to perform the second prayer on time or if the travelling time is before zuhur then you can make your intention to add zuhur to asr during asr time or when you get to your destination before asr time ends especially those travelling in commercialtransport and it stops for say 15 minutes rest. Note that we cannot pray ANY salaat before the time for such salaat. If you intend to travel before zuhur, you cannot pray zuhur before zuhur time but can delay zuhur and combine it with Asr at asr time. Sim...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha 16th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Tuesday 1st December. 2020). DIFFERENCE BETWEEN Maniyy (sperm), Mathy (pre-seminal fluid) and Wady. BismilLah.  Maniyy (Sperm) is a thick white fluid emitted by the male or female as the result of sexual ejaculation. Some scholars define Maniyy as the thick spurting water discharge through orgasm. When the above characteristics are not present Ghusl (a ritual bath) is not compulsory for ritual purity. Another case where Ghusl is not compulsory is when the sperm is discharged due to illness or extreme cold or the like. It is narrated in a Prophetic Hadeeth that Ghusl is only obligatory if one discharges (sperm) with orgasm. However, if sperm discharge happens unwillingly and without pleasure, then one does not have to perform Ghusl. If someone wakes up and finds some sperm moistness on him or on his clothes he should perform Ghusl.  This also applies to women. The Maniyy of a woman is a thin ye...
