ISLAMIC TEACHINGS ON HOW TO TREAT OUR RRLATIVES Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

Islam gives great importance to the bonds of kinship and rights of relatives. ALLAH command us in the holy Qur'an on that at least 12 times in different verses but i will mention just few.

Aayah 90 of surah Nahl says: "ALLAH enjoins justice, generosity and kind treatment to relatives..."

The third thing which has been enjoined is good treatment with one's relatives. It's means that one should not only treat relatives well, share their sorrows and pleasure and help them within lawful limits but should also share one's wealth with them along with the rights of parents and immediate family. The prophet (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) has emphasized this fact in many traditions. In the light of such traditions a person owes right to his parents, his wife, husband, children, brothers, sisters and other relatives in accordance with the nearness of their relationships. Islam is very adamant that every Muslim learns to care about others and rights. The people that one should take care of the most,  after one's parents, are the relatives. In the hadith, the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is saying:

"Those of you who believe in ALLAH and the hereafter should be kind to their relatives." (Al-Bukhari and Muslim, 26) and: "Those of you who would like to have more providence and longer lives should be kind to their relatives". (Al-Bukhari, 5985 and Muslim, 2557).

We ask ALLAH to aid us in our efforts to treat our relatives with kindness and support Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
