DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulAhad, 19th day of Sha'abaan (Sunday 12th April, 2020).
EVIL DISEASES OF THE HEART. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

Imagine standing in Tahajjud/ Taraaweeh most of the night but end up gaining sins AstaqfirulLah. Very dangerous isn't it. As human beings we have this dangerous disease of acting to please others instead of ALLAH. Imagine someone offering Salaat, as soon as he noticed someone watching, he or she try to perfect it than how he use to do it, that's a minor shirk if not major bcs it means you are prefearing the person looking at you than ALLAH looking at you live all the time.

This is the disease of ar-riyaa (show-off). It’s very difficult. Nobody can say, “I’m safe from riyaa.” The one who says this is showing off. The Prophet warned us about riyaa, but what is the meaning of ar-riyaa?

Riyaa is so dangerous that the Prophet gave it a special name. He said, “Indeed the thing I fear for you the most is the minor shirk
(associating partners with ALLAH).” We have minorshirk and major shirk. Major shirk is something like worshipping a statue or another god with ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty and the Majestic) or to take a legislator other than ALLAH. But the minor shirk is mentioned in this hadith. And the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said that it is the thing he fears for us the most. The Companions of the Prophet asked him, “What is minor shirk, yaa Rasullah?” He said, “Ar-riyaa. Showing off.” In one hadith the Prophet gave the example of someone making the athan (call to prayer) and while making the athan he thinks, “Wow I bet the people think my voice is beautiful.” This is ar-riyaa. In another hadith the Prophet  said it’s so dangerous that it’s like the black ant on the black rock in the night with no moon. It can sneak up on you like this.

We ask ALLAH (Al-Haadi, The Guide) to protect us from this evil act and purify our hearts in all we do. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless. I did not have a place to sleep. I walked in the dark looking for options and, unfortunately, a thief stole my empty purse with my ID. He was badly hit by a car in high speed as he fle...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 29th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 10th February 2024). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊. It's sunnah from the Prophet Muhammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Don't forget to offer your witir Salaat before sleeping or offer your two rakaats sha...
