DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn,  30th day of Jumaada Al-Thani (Monday 24th of February, 2020).
LETS CONTINUE WITH OUR TOPIC ON DAYS, MONTHS AND ISLAMIC EVENTS AND DATES. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem

Ashura falls on the 10th of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic calendar. Ashura commemorates the exodus of Musah alaihi salaam from Egypt, and is usually observed by completing an optional fast as practiced by the Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him.

Ramadan (Islamic month of Fasting) is the 9th month of the Islamic calendar, during which we fast daily from dawn to sunset as part of an effort towards self-purification and moral excellence. We Muslims believe that Ramadan is the month in which the first verses of Islam’s holy book, the Qur’an, were revealed by ALLAH through the Angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him.

The Hajj, or annual pilgrimage to Mecca, consists of several rituals which symbolize the essential concepts of the Islamic faith, such as devotion to ALLAH, brotherhood, and unity. The rituals of the Hajj also commemorate the trials of the Prophet Abraham alaihi salaam and his family. Hajj is required once in a Muslim’s lifetime if one is financially and physically able. Three to four million Muslims perform the pilgrimage annually.

Islamic New Year marks the beginning of the new year on the Islamic calendar. The Islamic calendar began with the migration - or Hijra – of the Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him and his followers from Macca to Madina. This event has a special significance in Islamic history as it marks the end of the period of persecution in Macca and the transition to a recognized faith community in Madina.

May ALLAH keep guiding us all and increases us in beneficial knowledge. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 30th day of Rajab 1446AH, Thursday. 30th Jan. 2025). MEANING OF ALLAH CREATING HUMANS IN HIS OWN IMAGE.  BismilLah. Unfortunately, other faiths have made a serious mistake in trying to compare The CREATOR, ALLAH Azzawajal with HIS Creation human beings in physical appearance, and that's blasphemy and serious error  Sheikh AbuAmina, in one of his articles, explained that, in Islam, we believe that all people have been created in the “image” of ALLAH Azzawajal. But what does this mean? ALLAH Azzawajal is the creator of everything, including all people. That people are in the “image of ALLAH Azzawajal” means they are in the form that HE, ALLAH Azzawajal has chosen and honored for them, not that they resemble ALLAH Azzawajal in physical appearance or share in the Divine Essence. Just as we say a righteous person is the “servant of ALLAH” and a mosque is the “house of ALLAH” as a way to honor them, likewise is it an added dignity for pe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat and Yaumul Aashuura. 10th day of Muharram, 1445AH (Friday, 28th July, 2023). SPECIAL EID DAY FOR US ALL. BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn. Today mark the day ALLAH humiliated HIS worse enemy on earth Fir'awn for his disbelief in ALLAH and claiming he was ALLAH. We are all fasting on this blessed day seeking forgiveness from ALLAH for our sins from last year till date as the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam recommended.  Those who are unable to fast can still do much to earn lots of rewards especially our sisters and daughters in their monthly cycle. You can recite lots of azkaar and give sadaqah with your intention to seek forgiveness from ALLAH. Please remember today is Friday lets strive to go to Masjid early and also remember to send salutations to our...
