DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 23rd day of Muharram (Sunday 22nd September, 2019).
TRIBAL MARKS IN ISLAM. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

Tribalism and Nationalism is forbidden in Islam says the Prophet sallalLaahu  Alaihi Wasallam so to mark your face to describe your tribe is an insult to what the prophet warned about as it creates division and we are witnessing it today where one tribe will not even offer or accept their daughter or son to marry another tribe AstaghfirulLah.

Tribalism is a concept alien to Islam because tribalism calls for unity based on family, whereas Islam binds people together on the `Aqeedah, that is belief in ALLAH (swt) and HIS Messenger (sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam). Islam calls for the ideological bond. Grouping the Muslims on tribalistic lines is clearly forbidden.

It is narrated by Imam Abu Da'wud that the Messenger of ALLAH (sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, "He is not one of us who calls for `Asabiyyah, (nationalism/tribalism) or who fights for `Asabiyyah or who dies for `Asabiyyah." And in another Hadith, the Messenger of ALLAH referring to tribalism, nationalism, racism, and patriotism said:"Leave it, it is rotten." [Muslim and Bukhari].

All people are the children of Aadam, and Aadam was created out of dust." "O you who believe! Fear ALLAH as HE should be feared and die not except in a state of Islam with complete submission to ALLAH. And hold fast, all of you together, to the rope of ALLAH (i.e. Qur'an), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude ALLAH'S favors on you; for you were enemies and HE joined your hearts in love, so that by HIS Grace you became brothers; and you were on the brink of the pit of fire, and HE saved you from it. Thus ALLAH make HIS signs clear to you that you may be guided." [Surah Al'Imran (3); ayah 102-103].

All Muslims, whether they are of Hausa, Dagomba, Kotokoli, white, Arab  Whatever, are one Ummah and they cannot be separated from each other. No tribalistic ties should ever break their unity. Furthermore, ALLAH (swt), says, "The Faithful are but brothers..." [Surah Al-Hujurat (49): ayah 10]. We must marry each other base on religious affiliation not tribal as many parents do today. May ALLAH protect us from any satanic influences and unite us together as Muslims. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 9th day of Muharram (Friday 28th August 2020). ACTS THAT CAN EARN US PARADISE. BismilLah.  As Muslims we must always learn and implement actions that can earn us the Pleasure of ALLAH our CREATOR in return for HIS Paradise awaiting HIS sincere servants.  Some of the things that can get us closer to ALLAH are , fasting regularly, Obedience to ALLAH, HIS Messenger, Our Parents etc. following funeral procession of a Muslim, feeding poor people, visiting sick people regularly etc.  Abu Huraira (Radhiallahu 'anhu) reported, that ALLAH'S Messenger (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said: “Who is fasting today?” Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) (again) said: Who has followed a funeral procession today? Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam - the Holy Prophet) again said: Who amongst you has served food to the needy today Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...

BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn. Today mark the day ALLAH humiliated HIS worse enemy on earth Fir'awn for his disbelief in ALLAH and claiming he was ALLAH. We are all fasting on this blessed day seeking forgiveness from ALLAH for our sins from last year till date as the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam recommended.  Those who are unable to fast can still do much to earn lots of rewards especially our sisters and daughters in their monthly cycle.
