DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 24th day of Muharram (Monday 23rd September, 2019).
ISLAMIC TEACHINGS ABOUT DREAMS. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

Dreams are of 3 kinds kinds according to the teachings of our beloved messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam:
Ru'yaa, good dreams, Hulum, bad dreams and Dreams from our own thoughts.

Imam Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAH be pleased with him) narrated that our Prophet Muhammad (sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, "There are three types of dreams: a righteous dream which is glad tidings from ALLAH, the dream which causes sadness is from Satan (the devil), and a dream from the ramblings of the mind.  (Related by Muslim).

You may share your good dreams with those you like as Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessing Be upon Him) said, "If one sees a good dream, let him expect good, and not tell it except to those he likes (someone pious, honest, trustworthy)."(related by Muslim).

An example of the above Hadeeth is Prophet (Jacob) Yaqoub (Peace Be upon Him) telling his son, Josef (Yusuf) (Peace Be upon Him) concerning his dream about eleven stars and the sun and the moon prostrating to him: "He said, "O my son! Relate not your vision to your brothers lest they arrange a plot against you. Verily! Satan is to man an open enemy." (Surah Yusuf 12:5).

We know the brothers of Yusuf were jealous of him, therefore telling them the dream only served to increase their jealousy.  So it is important that a good dream only be shared with trustworthy people who do not envy.

Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessing Be upon Him) also told us, "Nothing is left of Prophethood except glad tidings." Those with him asked, "What are glad tidings?" He replied, "Good dreams." (related by Al-Bukhari). For bad dreams don't tell anyone and don't worry about them. Don't panic as satan is trying to deviate you into visiting his evil agents the soothsayers. Please note that nothing can harm or benefit you without the permission of ALLAH says ALLAH in the qur'an so why worry? Instead, just recite Faatihah and the last 2 suurahs and be rest assured nothing can happen to you. The moment you fear and visit these soothsayers you've indirectly said to ALLAH, HE is not sufficient for you waeeyaazubilLah, that's a disbelief or kufur.

May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic dreams. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
