THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis. 4th day of Ramadaan, 1440, (Thursday, 9th May, 2019). WASTING TIME IN THIS BLESSED MONTH. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

Ramadaan is a blessed month which is a gift from ALLAH to aid us get closer to HIM. We've got only under 30 days to change our whole year of bad habits.  That’s all the time we have to make use of in the most blessed month of the year, Ramadan.

11 months ago after last Ramadan we’ve been swinging in the ups and downs of productivity, in seeking mercy and forgiveness of ALLAH, and above all HIS closeness. A lot of days we have wasted doing things that don’t benefit our dunya or akhira. But just for this one month, for these 30 or 29 days, let’s take up the challenge of avoiding all those things that will be of no benefit and make best use of this month.

Stop Watching TV:
Give yourself a break from the soaps/ shows you watch on television. Please sacrifice the time you spend on TV at least this one month. You don’t want to be regretting it later once the month has passed. Our TV channels are full of satanic  tools to deviate us from spending our time for something better.  Let's use the opportunity  of this blessed month to get rid of our habits which we are addicted to as an effort to get us closer to ALLAH. Imagine the time you spent on TV series and compare how many zikir you could have recited. Remember that if you recite Laailaaha illaa Anta Astaqhfiruka wa Atuubu  Ilaik just once is worth far more than wasting one hour to watch TV non Islamic Program. Give all TV programs the RED CARD for at least the next 26 days ONLY FOR ALLAH SAKE. It's a challenge to our soul. Join me and promise ALLAH that yes with immediate effect, no more waste of time, no more TV stations aside only the necessary  Islamic programs. Let's busy our tongue with azkaar especially reciting the Quran, learning the Quran etc. Are you ready for this challenge? Say in shaa ALLAAH to declare satan the looser.

Don't forget to pay your zakaat of 2.5% of your yearly savings which include your entire wealth.

May ALLAH  bless you for this promise and help you abide by this promise. Aameen.

May ALLAH aid us to abandon our bad habits in this blessed month. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...

ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
