THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulJumuat, 12th Jumaadal Awwal 1440, (Friday, 18th January, 2019). WATCHING PORNOGRAPHY AS A MUSLIM IS OUR KHUTBAH TODAY. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. On every Friday we hear the Imam conclude his khutbah(friday sermon) by reciting the following verse of the Quran: "InnaAllah Yamuru bil adel, wal ehsane, wa itae zil qurba; wa yanha anilfuhshae, wal munkari walbaghi; yaizukhum la'allakum yatazakkaroon. "Surely ALLAH enjoins justice, kindness and the doing of good, to kith and kin; and He forbids all that is shameful, indecent, evil, rebellious and oppressive." Quran 16:90. Pornography and the culture of pornography has all the three elements which ALLAH has prohibited in the above verse of the Quran: Fahsha; Munkar, baghi. Here is a bit of terminology: Fahsha is obscenity, vulgarity, indecency, shamelessness and something that is dirty, filthy, foul and fornication. All scholars agree pornography is included in the term Fahsha. Al-Munkar means gross, abominable, detestable, atrocious, outrageous, flagrant. As a major Quranic term it means something which is universally acknowledged as bad and immoral. This category includes all evils which have been unanimously condemned by the human conscience and which have been forbidden by Divine Law in all ages. Al-Baghi means wrong, injustice, outrage, and transgression. Al-Baghi in the Quranic terminology means transgression and trespassing into the space and the rights of others. The pornographic industry trespasses on the rights of women especially by turning them into sex objects. May ALLAH protect us and our offspring from such satanic influences. Please remember to recite suuratul kahf Quran chapter 18 today before magrib. Send more salutations to the Prophet. Perform ghusul before going for jumuat, cut your nails and shave your private parts including armpits etc. Clean your teeth and wear your best close and remember me in your dua please😊. May ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty and the Majestic) accept our little efforts. Aameen.

ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless.   THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 29th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 10th February 2024). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊.
