THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Thalaatha, 21st day of SAFAR 1440, (Tuesday 30th October, 2018). FOOTBALL BETTING IS FORBIDDEN IN ISLAM. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Information reaching me from a Muslim brother in Ghana indicates that some of our Muslim brothers and sisters have turned their daily mode of sustenance into betting or gambling likewise here in Nigeria they call it here bet 9ja i don't know what they called it there at Ghana. Please note that ALL forms of gambling or making money without any work or through trade of a commodity or service is haraam and a source of evil in your life. It's important to note as a Muslim that, you can never find peace in life and can never succeed in life if you choose to disobey ALLAH (Al-Qayyuum, The Maintainer of Life) in anything you do. Our sustenance is with ALLAH(The King of Kings), Satan also has his offer of sustenance so it's a choice for us to strive the halaal way so that ALLAH(ArRahmaan, The Most Gracious) can grant us base on our little efforts but if you chose the satanic way, you've really damage your relationship with ALLAH bcs it means, you are saying ALLAH is not sufficient for you so you've chosen the Satan's path to fake success. Astaqfirullah. All forms of betting is haraam in Islam. ALLAH (ArRazzaaq, The Provider of Wealth) Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5, Suurah Maaidah verses 90-91 to the nearest Meaning "O you who believe! Intoxicants, gambling(betting), (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows are an abomination of the Shaytaan's handiwork: avoid such abomination that you may prosper. Shaytaan's plan is but to excite enmity and hatred between you with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of ALLAH and from prayer: will you not then abstain?" This verse is more than enough for my advice today and in the last part of the verse, ALLAH is asking you who claim to believe in HIM but following satanic path that WILL YOU NOT ABSTAIN OR STOP? Your response to ALLAH will help you if indeed you believe in ALLAH. May ALLAH(Al-Hakeem, The Wise) keep guiding us all and protect us and our offspring from any kind of Gambling. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
