THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 20th day of SAFAR 1440, (Monday 29th October, 2018). THE MEANING OF QURAN, HADITH QUDSI AND HADITH AN-NABAWI. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. The word "Quran," a verbal noun, is equivalent in meaning to "qira'ah," as both come from the verb "qara'a" which means "to read or to recite." Quran literally means "a speech revealed from ALLAH (Al-Haaliq,The CREATOR) for reading or reciting." This is one of the miracles of the Quran. Angle Jibreel(Gabriel) alaihi salaam was commanded by ALLAH (Al-Maalik, The boss of the Universe and on judgement day) to reveal and teach the Quran to the Prophet and in return he the prophet peace be upon him is to recite it as it is to mankind and explain its meanings and rulings to us. This is the security of the Quran. It was memorized as it was revealed till today Allahu Akbar. The term "Quran" is mentioned in a number of places throughout the Quran in reference to itself. For example: "Verily, this Quran guides (humanity) to that which is most just." [Noble Quran 17:9]. "And if the Quran is recited, you should listen to it and be silent, that you may receive mercy." [Noble Quran 7:204]. Another hint from this simple but massive verse is to listen to Quran attentively and that alone can grant us mercy Alhamdulillah. The Dhikr, (The Reminder): ALLAH (Al-Fattah, The Granter of Succes) says: "Verily, I revealed the Dhikr and verily I will preserve it." [Noble Quran 15:9]. Alhamdulillah. The Prophet's divinely inspired statements which were recorded by his followers are generally referred to as Hadiths. For example, the Prophet's companion, 'Umar ibn al-Khattab may ALLAH be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet once said, "Verily, deeds are (judged) by their intentions. However, in some of his statements, the Prophet (peace be upon him) attributed what he said revealed from ALLAH but not part of the quran; for example, another companion, Abu Hurayrah, reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, " ALLAH, Most High, says, 'I am as My slave thinks of Me and I am with him when he remembers me. So if he remembers Me to himself, I will remember him to Myself and if he remembers Me in a group, I will remember him in a better group.' In order to distinguish this type of hadith from the previous type, it is referred to as hadith qudsi (sacred hadith) and the former referred to as hadith nabawi (prophetic hadith). The Quran is not the same as hadith qudsi for a number of reasons. First, the Quran is from Allah both in its wording and in its meaning, while in the case of hadith qudsi, its meaning is from ALLAH but its wording was the Prophet's (peace be upon him). The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "Whoever reads a letter from the book of ALLAH, the Most High, will get a good deed (recorded for him), and each good deed is worth ten times its value. I am not only saying that Alif Laam Meem is a letter, but I am also saying that Alif is a letter, Laam is a letter, and Meem is a letter." So to just recite Alif Laam Meem, you are rewarded with 30 good deeds. AlhamdulilLah, ALLAHU AKBAR. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and increase us in beneficial knowledge of the Quran. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless. I did not have a place to sleep. I walked in the dark looking for options and, unfortunately, a thief stole my empty purse with my ID. He was badly hit by a car in high speed as he fle...

Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊.
