THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 21st day of Muharram 1440, (Monday 1st October, 2018). POLYGAMY IS A BLESSINGS FROM ALLAH, GO FOR IT IF YOU CAN AFFORD. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Polygamy is becoming more and more popular these days alhamdulillah. It's a blessings from Allah to test those who accept this trial from Allah. Being a second wife is hard. As a second wife you are coming into ‘hostile’ encumbered territory populated with a lot of baggage (co wife or wives, kids, in laws). As a second wife, you are often the demonised ‘home wrecker’ or ‘husband snatcher’ or ‘evil stepmother’. Entering into polygamy has got to be one of the biggest risks any woman can take in her quest for marital happiness. It may well be a disaster or success depending on the type of husband one is blessed with. I am of the strong opinion that one can achieve marital harmony in polygamy as long as one is mindful and conscious of the rights of all parties involved. Mutual respect and Acceptance can go a long way in deflecting the issues that come with polygamy. Almost on a weekly basis I get requests to address polygamy and its issues, mostly because we are not doing things as we ought to do andhere goes… Polygamy is a permitted marriage in Islam. If you struggle with this fact, it is a problem with your own faith, not your husband’s action. Do not feel guilty. If you feel guilty you are suggesting that the Sunnah is wrong, or Allah is wrong to permit it waeeyaazu bilLah. Allah says in Quran 2:216; ....perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not. So be clear that this type of marriage can be and can flourish on condition that the man is FAIR and HONEST with both of his wives. This is very important (If your husband is badly behaved after the new marriage, that is a problem with him and not this Sunnah). Polygamy does have guidelines which must be followed to make it successful in shaa Allaah. If you cannot be responsible man then it becomes forbidden for you. You must ensure you treat the second wife as you do to the first wife and vice versa. May Allah keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 9th day of Muharram (Friday 28th August 2020). ACTS THAT CAN EARN US PARADISE. BismilLah.  As Muslims we must always learn and implement actions that can earn us the Pleasure of ALLAH our CREATOR in return for HIS Paradise awaiting HIS sincere servants.  Some of the things that can get us closer to ALLAH are , fasting regularly, Obedience to ALLAH, HIS Messenger, Our Parents etc. following funeral procession of a Muslim, feeding poor people, visiting sick people regularly etc.  Abu Huraira (Radhiallahu 'anhu) reported, that ALLAH'S Messenger (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said: “Who is fasting today?” Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) (again) said: Who has followed a funeral procession today? Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam - the Holy Prophet) again said: Who amongst you has served food to the needy today Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...

BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn. Today mark the day ALLAH humiliated HIS worse enemy on earth Fir'awn for his disbelief in ALLAH and claiming he was ALLAH. We are all fasting on this blessed day seeking forgiveness from ALLAH for our sins from last year till date as the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam recommended.  Those who are unable to fast can still do much to earn lots of rewards especially our sisters and daughters in their monthly cycle. You can recite lots of azkaar and give sadaqah with your intention to seek forgiveness from ALLAH. Please remember today is Friday lets strive to go to Masjid early and also remember to send salutations to our...
