THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Sabt, 28th day of Zul Hijjah 1439, (Saturday 8th September, 2018). HANGING PHOTOS IN OUR HOMES. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. There are many hadiths which speaks against this hanging of our photos or any animated drawings on the walls, on the tables and on social media. Lets check the following ahadith from Bukhari: Vol 8, Book 73. Good Manners And Form (Al-Adab). Hadith 130. Narrated by our mother 'Aaisha may Allah be pleased with her: The Prophet entered upon me while there was a curtain having pictures (of animals) in the house. His FACE GOT RED with anger, and then he got hold of the curtain and tore it into pieces. The Prophet said, "Such people as paint these pictures will receive the severest punishment on the Day of Resurrection." Vol 3, Book 34. Sales And Trade. Hadith 318. Narrated by our mother again (Mother of the faithful believers) I bought a cushion with pictures on it. When Allah's Apostle saw it, he kept standing at the door and did not enter the house. I noticed the sign of disgust on his face, so I said, "O Allah's Apostle! I repent to Allah and His Apostle. (Please let me know) what sin I have done." Allah's Apostle said, "What about this cushion?" I replied, "I bought it for you to sit and recline on." Allah's Apostle said, "The painters (i.e. owners) of these pictures will be punished on the Day of Resurrection. It will be said to them, 'Put life in what you have created (i.e. painted).' " The Prophet added, "The ANGELS DO NOT ENTER a house where there are pictures displayed." Vol 4, Book 54. Beginning Of Creation. Hadith 539. Narrated By Abu Talha: The Prophet said, "ANGELS DO NOT ENTER a house witch has either a dog or a picture displayed in it." There are many of such authentic narrations and each narration has lots of lessons in it so let's strive to avoid it. The wisdom behind it according to scholars is clear that, that's one of Satan's weapon to possess and afflict us through evil jinns. Satan also uses it to distract us from our worship, Satan uses it to influence us to use it seeking help from the death as we notice many do by looking at their saints, dead imams to make dua for help. Islam cut any link to satanic influences so let's avoid it for our own good. Snapping ourselves and our relatives to keep as memory is not haraam but don't display it to the public view and ALLAH knows best. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless.   THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 29th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 10th February 2024). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊.
