THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 23rd day of Zul-Qa'âdah(Sunday 5th August 2018). WHY INTER-MIXING IS PROHIBITED IN ISLAM. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Indeed, mixing between men and women should be very restricted in Islam due to the great harm it causes. As we all know it is a great fitnah (action that causes or can lead immoral actions), so all Muslims, especially guys and young men and women, are highly recommended to avoid that as strongly as we can. Mixing or intermingling is a general term, which includes that which is permissible and that which is prohibited. If it is merely men and women gathering in an open space to perform shared work, whether religious or non-religious, that in itself is not prohibited, as long as the Islamic code of behavior is followed, in terms of Hijab, lowering the gaze, and the like. Women must keep away from men and vice versa as much as possible for our own good. Let's always remember that sheitan is a major enemy who uses every little mistake we do to motivate us to sin against our own souls. If mingling is about men and women socializing and mixing together closely and freely, this follows the basic principle of prohibition, according to the criteria of Shari`ah. The prohibition of free mixing, particularly between people of young age is based on many proofs, of them, the following: The saying of ALLAH, “And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance, and perform As-Salat, and give Zakat and obey ALLAH and HIS Messenger. ALLAH wishes only to remove Ar-Rijs (evil deeds and sins, etc.) from you, O members of the family (of the Prophet), and to purify you with a thorough purification) (Al-Ahzab 33:33). If settling at homes to prevent fitnah is obligatory on the Mothers of the Believers, since the address is firstly directed to them, the generality of 'illah “effective cause of ruling” in Allah's saying, “to remove Ar-Rijs from you” indicates that others are included, for ALLAH is not pleased with sins for any believing woman. On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said, “Allah’s Messenger (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: ‘The best of the men’s rows are the first and the worst are the last, while the best of the women’s rows are the last and the worst are the first.’” Al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “Indeed, the last rows of the women attending [the prayer] with the Messenger were preferred due to their distance from intermingling with men, and the criticism of the first rows is the opposite.” The Messenger (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “I have not left after me any fitnah (trial) more harmful to men than women.” In the hadith there is enough deterrence which would make anyone concerned about his faith avoid places of ruin and seek refuge in the fortress of pious caution. Given the above, it is not totally forbidden for men and women to mix or intermingle together as long as they apply the general rules of Islam code of conduct. Have a blessed day ahead under ALLAH guidance till you hear from me again tomorrow in shaa ALLAAH, Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullah wabarakaatuh. May ALLAH keep me, you and all Muslims away from what displease HIM. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
