THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 20th day of Zul Hijjah 1439, (Friday 31st August 2018). HOW TO BALANCE THE USAGE OF THE MIND, BODY AND SOUL TO ACHIEVE A SUCCESSFUL END. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from our topic yesterday; The Holy Quran describes the human soul in these beautiful words: [Ash-Shams, 91:7-10] “By the Soul and the proportion and order given to it; and its enlightenment as to its wrong and right; Truly he succeeds that purifies it, and he fails that corrupts it.” My dear respected Brothers and Sisters, if we follow the natural inclination of our soul, constantly seeking unity with ALLAH, yearning to return to Him and earnestly seeking HIS good pleasure, then we will bring some order and proportion to our lives. This is the big challenge we face. And, it’s not only seeking balance, order and proportion in our own lives, but bringing something of this beauty and grace, this serenity, this sakina(tranquility), into the lives of our families, our communities and the world beyond. It begins with us, within ourselves. We have to rediscover that little bit of heaven that ALLAH breathed into us, even before we took our own first breath of fresh air in the physical world. We need to explore the nature of the Ruuh, the soul, the ‘breath of Allah’ within us, try to understand its needs, try to understand how every thought we think and every action we make has an impact on our soul. Our soul will be our crown witness on the Day of Judgement. We must learn how to purify it and not to corrupt it. In Sura Nisa, 4:111 we read: “And if anyone earns sin, he earns it against his own soul: for ALLAH is full of knowledge and wisdom.! Every time we commit a shameful deed, we do not only harm others, we also harm ourselves. That’s why the Holy Quran frequently uses the term, “O you who have sinned against your own souls…” This clearly tell us that our disobedience and rebellion against ALLAH inflicts harm on ourselves. It also implies that in its natural state, the human soul is pure. There is no blemish, no stain of ‘original sin.’ ALLAH gave us a pure human soul and he expects us to take good care of it. When we die, we must then return it to HIM in the same factory-perfect condition. This is what our whole life’s endeavour is all about. We must learn the knowledge from ALLAH, apply it's teachings in our lives and hope for ALLAHs mercy for the SOUL. These reminders are only to remind us of what we should be knowing anyway, it takes less than 5 minutes to read through and share, be motivated to read them always and remember me in your dua always for life challenges we all face on daily basis. Please remember today is Friday as such we shouldn't forget the etiquettes of each Friday and implement on it towards our own successful life. *_May ALLAH keep guiding us all till Jannatul Firdaus becomes our final abode_*. DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless. I did not have a place to sleep. I walked in the dark looking for options and, unfortunately, a thief stole my empty purse with my ID. He was badly hit by a car in high speed as he fle...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 29th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 10th February 2024). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊. It's sunnah from the Prophet Muhammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Don't forget to offer your witir Salaat before sleeping or offer your two rakaats sha...
