Another very important causes of marriage divorce is the fact that the wife Ignored her parents without their support and went ahead with the marriage SubhaanAllah. NEVER EVER DO this sister. Regardless of what your parents have done, never ever marry without their support even if the man is the Imam of Macca please. The reason is not only that the marriage maybe invalid, the main reason which is based on my little experience in marriage counseling is that as soon as ALLAH test both of you in the marriage such as the delay in conceiving or Satan is allowed into the marriage, both point fingers straight to the parents who were not in support of the Marriage in the first place. In most cases they are innocent but Satan is clever and his number one priority is to cause marriage divorce. Your husband will start to dislike you claiming you are cursed by your parents etc. You will feel rejected, you will feel betrayed by the man you ignored your parents to marry etc. Your parents may be wrong with their reasons not to accept the Brother or sister BUT please ensure you resolve that issue and gain their support before the marriage. If all your efforts fails, then ignore the sister or brother you intended marrying, never ever ignore your parents because of marriage for one reason that, Obedience, Kindness to parents, avoiding parents anger etc is more important than marriage. That's a fact. May ALLAH protect our marriages from any satanic influences. Aameen.
