THIRD REMINDER. Yaumul Ahad, 11th/12th day of Ramadan (Sunday 27th May). THREE CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE ARE MENTIONED IN QUR'AN, WHICH CATEGORY ARE YOU? BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the first/second Reminders. If you missed any, please request for me to copy to you before reading this one. CATEGORY 3. Al MUNAAFIQEEN, HYPOCRITES/2 FACED PEOPLE. (Baqarah Ayat 8 onward. This is the most dangerous category and many of us are unaware of the fact that sometimes you do fall into this category of people. These are the people who say they beleive, but when they are alone, they dont believe. They are 2 faced, different in people and different when alone. To get an idea, we will take an example. Abdullah ibn Ubay, one of the chiefs during the Prophet’s time, is regarded as the biggest Hypocrite/Munaafiq. He used to come and stand in the 1st row of prayer for the Jummah Salaah just to show the Prophet and the people. Inside he had jealousy towards Prophet S.A.W (which he never showed) because the popularity of the Prophet S.A.W affected his influence. His conversion to Islam was insincere, just to be with the people rather than being against. Allah revealed him to the Prophet Mohammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Characteristics of a Munaafiq: They are different with people, different when alone. When they sit with Believers they say they Believe in Allah and the Last Day, but when they are alone with Shaitan or in a different crowd, they say they are indeed with them. When they speak, they lie. They cheat They mock the believers. They have a disease of deception in their heart. They cause corruption on the earth. They trade Guidance (hidayath) for Error (misguidance). They don’t know anything – Deaf, Dumb and Blind. They try to Deceive Allah but Allah says they deceive none except themselves, yet they do not realize it. They have a big disease of deception in their hearts and Allah increases them in it as for them there is a Painful punishment awaiting – AZAAB – UL – ALEEM. The word Aleem signifies continuity – Continuous Pain. They cause mischief on the earth, and when they are asked to believe like the others believed, they mock them saying ‘Should we believe like the fools?’ Abu Bakr Siddique (R.A) was very rich, he left all his wealth and came to Madinah. Moosa bin Umair was very rich too, used to wear the best silk, but he too left everything and went to Madina. Munafiq’s call them fools, but Abu Bakr Siddique (R.A) will be the first one to enter Jannah after the Ambiyah (prophets)! Now is this foolish? Allah says they themselves are fools, yet they do not understand. Allah will take away their mockery and leave them alone to wander blindly without any direction. They are deaf, dumb and blind, will never return to the right way. What did we learn from these Reminders today? We should constantly check ourselves as to where we stand. There are times when we do not want to get ourselves into extreme religion, like growing beard, doing complete hijab, leave all haram things etc. instead we want to do a little bit of religion and little bit of haram things like movies, music etc., because we care about our image, leaving everything and going in the way of Islam will make us look like fools! ‘What will everybody say at work if I grow a beard from tomorrow and go to office? What will my classmates say if I start covering myself in Hijab? What if it becomes a hindrance for my success and I lose my job? And my friends?’ These kind of questions are plotted in our minds by Shaitan and is a characteristic of a Munaafiq. If we say we believe, why don’t we follow it with all our heart? Always question yourself, is it worth it? Can u not leave certain things for Jannah? You maybe called foolish or mocked upon, but Allah will be there for your protection and your success, and in the end in shaa ALLAH you will get Jannah! May Allah make us among those who are the Muttaqeen! Aameen, Summa Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...

ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
