SECOND REMINDER. Yaum Ar-Raaba'a 14th/15th day of Ramadan (Wednesday, 30th May). HOW DANGEROUS IS OUR TONGUE? BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Imam Ahmad may Allah be pleased with him mentioned an authentic Hadith in which the Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa salaam) said: “A man may be so close to Paradise such that the distance between him and paradise is one derah (an arms length) and he speaks a word and he becomes distant from it further than between East and West” Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Messenger (sallahu alaihi wa salaam) said:“From the good Islam of a man is that he leaves that which does not benefit him.” [Ahmad (4/132) – Tirmidhi, kitab az-zuhd, (7/51). ‘Abullah ibn ‘Amr (radi Allahu anhu) said that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa salaam) said: “Whoever keeps silent is saved.” [Sahih – narrated by Ahmad (2/159 – 177). ALLAH says: ุฅِู†َّ ุงู„ู„َّู‡َ ู„َุง ูŠُุญِุจُّ ู…َู† ูƒَุงู†َ ู…ُุฎْุชَุงู„ًุง ูَุฎُูˆุฑًุง Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless.   THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 29th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 10th February 2024). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes๐Ÿ˜Š.
