THIRD REMINDER. Yaumul Ahad, 29th day of RAJAB (Sunday, 15th April). ESSENTIAL QUALITIES OF THE ATHAN(CALL FOR PRAYERS). BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Even though what the Minister of Ghana suggested about stopping the Athan is wrong, some of our reactions are even worse and unacceptable for Muslims to insult and curse others even if they insult us. Let's teach them the reason and importance of the Athan. First of all, it’s an invitation towards meeting with ALLAH, our CREATOR, i.e. SALAAH. It is more useful and effective way of encouraging others towards veneration of the Almighty as compared to ringing of bells and blowing horns which only cause noise. On the other hand, Adhan sounds highly meaningful as it contains language of glorifying the Lord and His Messenger. Saying “Allah is the Greatest” is to testify the Ultimate Power of the Creator of the Universe, Who controls every phenomenon happening in this world and heavens. Second phrase “There is none worthy of worship except Allah” fulfills the very first criterion of Muslim faith, i.e. to believe in One God`s Supremacy and comparing no one to HIM. After paying the Most Deserved Homage to Allah SWT, the Adhan follows up with bearing witness that Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam is the Messenger of the Exalted ONE which is also the necessary constituent of Islamic conviction. The expressions “Come to Salah” and “Come towards Success” are meant to inform the Muslims about Congregational Prayers as being the cause of one`s accomplishment in this world and hereafter. This is so because Adhan is the call towards Prayers, which in turn is the way of direct communication with ALLAH Almighty resulting in forgiveness of wrongdoings and attainment of many of God`s blessings. In the end, the name of Almighty Lord is again highly praised by repeating His Greatness and testifying that there is no one else praiseworthy as HIM. Adhan is a constant reminder for common people about Allah`s remembrance and a way of knowing that He is always there for us, and there is nobody else we could ask from. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said: “When Adhan for Salat is pronounced, the devil takes to his heels and breaks wind with noise so as not to hear the call. When the Adhan is finished, he returns. When the Iqamah is announced, he turns his back, and after it is finished, he returns again to distract the attention of one and makes him remember things which he does not recall in his mind before the Salat, and says `Remember this, and this,’ and thus causes one to forget how many Rak`at he performed.” (Bukhari and Muslim) This Hadith shows that Adhan is not any simple announcement; rather it is that powerful in its effect that Shaitaan (Satan) cannot bear hearing it as it contains the message about righteousness and leads one towards spirituality of heart and soul. Let's strive to share more knowledge about Islam to non Muslims and ignore their mockery and hatred due to their ignorance. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and increases us in beneficial knowledge. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 30th day of Rajab 1446AH, Thursday. 30th Jan. 2025). MEANING OF ALLAH CREATING HUMANS IN HIS OWN IMAGE.  BismilLah. Unfortunately, other faiths have made a serious mistake in trying to compare The CREATOR, ALLAH Azzawajal with HIS Creation human beings in physical appearance, and that's blasphemy and serious error  Sheikh AbuAmina, in one of his articles, explained that, in Islam, we believe that all people have been created in the “image” of ALLAH Azzawajal. But what does this mean? ALLAH Azzawajal is the creator of everything, including all people. That people are in the “image of ALLAH Azzawajal” means they are in the form that HE, ALLAH Azzawajal has chosen and honored for them, not that they resemble ALLAH Azzawajal in physical appearance or share in the Divine Essence. Just as we say a righteous person is the “servant of ALLAH” and a mosque is the “house of ALLAH” as a way to honor them, likewise is it an added dignity for pe...

BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah to you all. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. Today mark the day when ALLAH granted Musah alayhi salaam victory over Fir'awn. Today mark the day ALLAH humiliated HIS worse enemy on earth Fir'awn for his disbelief in ALLAH and claiming he was ALLAH. We are all fasting on this blessed day seeking forgiveness from ALLAH for our sins from last year till date as the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam recommended.  Those who are unable to fast can still do much to earn lots of rewards especially our sisters and daughters in their monthly cycle. You can recite lots of azkaar and give sadaqah with your intention to seek forgiveness from ALLAH. Please remember today is Friday lets strive to go to Masjid early and also remember to send salutations to our...
