FIRST REMINDER. Yaum Al-Ithnayn 14th day of Shaabaan (30th April). DANGERS OF TAKFIR (declaring Muslims to be apostates). BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. One of the worst crimes against Islam and the Muslim community is the practice of excommunication (takfir or takfeer) which is to declare a practicing Muslim to be an unbeliever. There is a unanimous consensus among most scholars that the Quran, the Sunnah, and the righteous predecessors prohibit Muslims from charging each other with unbelief. Allah says: وَلَا تَلْمِزُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقَابِ Do not insult one another and do not call each other by offensive names. Surat Al-Hujurat 49:11 Ibn Abdul Barr comments on this verse, saying: وَقَدْ قَالَ جَمَاعَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ هُوَ قَوْلُ الرَّجُلِ لِأَخِيهِ يَا كَافِرُ يَا فَاسِقُ A group of scholars have said that offensive names are a man calling his brother an unbeliever or a wicked sinner. al-Tamhid 17/21. In several traditions, the Prophet and his companions warned us about the severity of charging a Muslim with unbelief or apostasy. Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A man does not accuse another man of wickedness or unbelief except that it will return against him if his companion is innocent. Sahih Bukhari 5698, Grade: Sahih. To be continued in shaa Allah. May Allah aid us to help one another in dua and sincere advice instead of hatred to one another. Aameen.

ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless.   THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 29th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 10th February 2024). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊.
