SECOND REMINDER. Yaumu Al-Khamis, 12th day of RAJAB (Thursday, 29th March). TASFSEER OR EXPLANATION TO AAYATUL KURSY. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's continue from the first reminder. There are so many important Tafsir Books But let's concentrate on the Tafseer by Imam Ibn Kathir May Allah be pleased with him. Aameen. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem.  ٱللَّهُ لاَ إِلَـٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ  Meaning, ALLAH! There is none worthy of our worship but HE (There is no other so called god but ALLAH), the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. Imam Ibn Kathir (rah) explains : (There is no god but ALLAH): It is a statement that HE (ALLAH) is the “ONE AND ONLY” Lord of all creations. (The Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal) means: HE (ALLAH) is self-existing (i.e. nothing created HIM) and that HE is ever living who can never die. Qayyum is that (attribute) of ALLAH through which others exist. HE is richest of all and nothing can exist without HIS order and will.   لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ  Meaning No slumber can seize HIM nor sleep. The Imam explains (No slumber can seize HIM nor sleep) means: ALLAH could never be negligent, unaware, nor can HE err in regards to HIS creation. Rather HE is completely controlling by being aware of what every soul earns. HIS comprehension upon everything is perfect and nothing can be hidden from HIS knowledge and there could be no secret kept from HIM…. Ibn Abbas (ra) narrates: Once Bani Israel questioned Musa (a.s) whether his Lord ever sleeps? Musa (a.s) replied: FEAR HIM! What kind of question is that? ALLAH called Musa (a.s) and said: Hold 2 bottles in your hands and keep on standing whole night. HE followed Allah’s order and did exactly that, but when half of the night went passed he started to slumber and bowed down on his knees, but then he quickly awoke, however in the last part of night he had a deep slumber and both bottles fell from his hands and “GOT BROKEN” Then ALLAH azza Wajjal said: O Musa! If I sleep then the heavens and the worlds would break into pieces just like these bottles. So Allah revealed this ayah to his Prophet (Muhammad - Peace be upon him).  لَّهُ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَـٰوَاتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلأَرْضِ  Meaning. HIS are all things in the heavens and on earth. Imam Ibn Katheer (rah) explains: All the servants (including heavens and the worlds) come under His “DOMINION” they also come under HIS “POWER AND SULTANATE” just like ALLAH said: Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (ALLAH) Most Gracious as a servant. HE does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. And everyone of them will come to HIM singly on the Day of Judgment.[Quran 19:93-95]. Allahu Akbar. To be continued. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless.   THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 29th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 10th February 2024). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊.
