SECOND REMINDER. Yaumul Ithnayn, 10th day of Jumaadal Aakhir (Monday, 26th February). Let's continue with the history behind the birth of our beloved Messenger of ALLAH. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem:  Among the matters on which there is consensus with regard to his birth (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is the definition of the year and the day.  With regard to the year:  It was the Year of the Elephant. Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: There is no difference of opinion concerning the fact that he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was born in Makkah, and that his birth was in the Year of the Elephant. Zaad al-Ma‘aad fi Hadiy Khayr al-‘Ibaad, 1/76  Muhammad ibn Yoosuf as-Saalihi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:  Ibn Ishaaq (may Allah have mercy on him) said: (It was) the Year of the Elephant. Ibn Katheer said: This is the well-known view of the majority.  Ibraaheem ibn al-Mundhir al-Hizaami, the Shaykh of al-Bukhaari, said: This is the opinion concerning which none of the scholars has any doubt. The year of the Elephant is termed so when Abrahah who was the Commander in Chief of the then Roman empire who were the superpower of the world assembled large army including elephants to destroy the Kaaba but the elephants upon entering the city stopped and refused to enter and ALLAH destroyed the army with large number of birds carrying stones, ALLAHU Akbar. Aamina, the mother of the prophet was pregnant by then and gave birth to the prophet after that incident. With regard to the day:  It was a Monday. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was born on a Monday, his mission began on a Monday and he died on a Monday.  It was narrated that Abu Qataadah al-Ansaari (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was asked about fasting on Mondays and he said: “That is a day on which I was born and on it my mission began – or Revelation came to me. Narrated by Muslim, 1162. To be continued in shaa Allah. May ALLAH aid us in our efforts to know more about our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallallaahu alaihi wasallam. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...

ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3.
