FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul Ithnayn, 12th day of Jumaadal Uulaa/Awwal (Monday 29th January). TREATMENT OF WOMEN IN ISLAM. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Taking good care of women and treating them with kindness is an act of worship and whoever treat women especially our wives bady is commiting a major sin. Marriage is not slavery but companionship which is a trust from Allah and Allah will judge us as to how we treated our wives. Allah saysin the Quran: وَعَاشِرُوهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ Live with them in kindness. Surat An-Nisa 4:19. This is a command from Allah not a request as such whoever goes againstthe commands of Allaah is committing a major sin. Out beloved Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, also commanded us to treat women well by saying; Treat women well, for woman is created from a rib and the most curved portion of the rib is its upper portion. If you try to straighten it, it will break, but if you leave it as it is, it will remain curved. So treat women with kindness. Sahih Bukhari 3153. To be continued in shaa Allaah. May Allah aid us to treat our women well purely for Allah sake not base on their attitude. Aameen.
