THIRD REMINDER. Sunday. INVOCATION FOR ENTERING THE RESTROOM CONTINUES. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Amongst what the Muslim scholars stated also in this regard is that the one who finishes answering the call of nature and leaves the restroom (bathroom/toilet) should say: “Ghufraanaka (I seek Your forgiveness).” That is because this was reported from the Messenger of Allaah, peace and blessing be upon him, and Ibn Khuzaymah, Ibn Hibaan and Al-Haakim deemed it Saheeh in the compilations of Imam Abu Dawood may Allah be pleased with him. It means I seek your forgiveness for such thing that made me busy from remembering You and thus one finishes it with invocation in much the same way he starts it. Also, his saying in the second Hadeeth: ("If anyone of you goes to an open space for answering the call of nature he should neither face nor turn his back towards the Qibla (i.e. the direction of Ka‘bah). As for his saying, "If anyone of you goes to an open space for answering the call of nature…, it means if one sits down to answer the call of nature he should not face nor turn his back towards the Qiblah. This is related to the people of Madeenah (i.e. Medina) because the Qiblah is at the south of it. As for who is not from the inhabitants of the Madeenah, he should turn away from the direction of the Qiblah. This prohibition is to show respect and glorification for the Ka‘bah. But if your home toilet is fixed to face the kaaba and you cannot change it, that's ok as the walls serve as sutra for the qiblah and Allah knows best. May Allah keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...

ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else.
