FIRST REMINDER. Wednesday 2nd day of Rabeeu At-Thaani. OUR SALAAH, OUR KEY TO SUCCESS. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. As-Salah means to worship Allaah through certain known and prescribed sayings and actions starting with takbeer saying Allaahu Akbar i.e. Allaah is the Greater, and ending with tasleem (saying: as-salaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatul-lahi wa barakaatuh i.e. may Allaah’s Peace, Mercy, and Blessings be upon you). The Merits or importance of As-Salah. 1. The Salaah Prevents us from al-Fahshaa (great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and al-Munkar (disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.). (See Quran C: 29, V: 45). 2. It is The best of deeds after the Testimony of Faith (laa ilaaha illal-laah, Muhammad rasoulul-laah). (See hadeeth of ‘Abdullaah ibn Mas’oud (radiyallaahu 'anhu) in Bukhari (v. 9, p. 625) & Muslim). 3. Washes out sins (See hadeeth of Jaabir (radiyallaahu 'anhu) in Muslim v. 1, p. 1410) 4. Expiates sins (See hadeeth of Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu 'anhu) in Muslim v. 1, p. 450) 5. A light for its adherent in this Life and in the Hereafter (See hadeeth of Ibn ‘Umar (radiyallaahu 'anhuma) in Musnad Ahmad (v. 2, p. 169) with good chain of narration) 6. Raises in rank and removes sins (See hadeeth of Thawbaan (radiyallaahu 'anhu) in Muslim (v. 1, p. 989). 7. One of the greatest causes to enter Paradise with the company of the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam. (See hadeeth of Rabee’ah Al-Aslami (radiyallaahu 'anhu) in Muslim v. 1, p. 990) 8. Between each performance of salaah and the next performance, sins are pardoned. (See hadeeth ‘Uthmaan (radiyallaahu 'anhu) in Muslim v. 1, p. 438. 9. The angels will ask Allaah for Blessings and Forgiveness upon the adherent in our place of prayers (See hadeeth of Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu 'anhu) in Bukhari (v. 3, p. 330) and in Muslim) 10. Waiting for the next prayer after performing a prayer is ribaat (keeping oneself adhering and firm on acts of obedience). (See hadeeth of Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu 'anhu) in Muslim no. 251). 11. The one who goes to the Mosque to perform the prayer is in prayer until he returns. (See hadeeth of Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu 'anhu) in Saheeh ibn Khuzaimah authenticated by Al-Albani). ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 11th day of Shawwal (Sunday 23rd May 2021). * _ This may not be true story from a friend but very true and sad reality of our modern world _ * . BismilLah. “The house where I lived was about to be seized, just because I could not pay the rent. I tried to get help from all relatives I know but all saying they don't have so I posted my situation on Facebook looking for help, but all I could get is 2 "I like" and zero comment. So I sent 250 messages to my contact list requesting a loan of N5000. Unfortunately only 10 people responded. 6 out of 10 said they could not help me. And only 1 out of 4 who promised to help me and gave me some money less than I needed. The other 3 gave me no excuse and never answered my calls. In the end, I was ejected. I became homeless.   THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 29th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Saturday, 10th February 2024). SOME PROPHETIC TEACHINGS BEFORE GOING TO BED. Bismillah. Before climbing onto bed anytime of the day or night, dust the bed thrice with the corner of any clothe. Clean your teeth with Miswaak if possible or with brush and paste. Be in a state of wuduu. Sleep on the right side of your body facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.  Recite Aayatul Kursy and the last three chapters (Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq, An-Naas) of the Quran, dry blow air to your palms then wipe over your entire body as much as possible, beginning with your head and face and then all parts of the body, do this 3 times if you can or atleast once whenever you are feeling lazy like myself sometimes😊.
