THIRD REMINDER. Tuesday. THE PROPHET GENEROSITY: Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Hadrat Ibn 'Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that Allah's Messenger, may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him, was the most charitable of all people, he was extremely  generous in the month of Ramadan. It is narrated that the Angel Gabriel, peace be upon him, would sit with the Prophet every year during the month of Ramadan. Allah’s Messenger would recite the Qur'an to the Angel and in this month he was the most generous in giving charity (Muslim). The generosity of the Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, was an example to be followed. His generosity won the hearts of people and made them wish to embrace Islam. There is a famous story that testifies to his generosity. The Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, was walking with Safwaan Ibn Umayyah, who was still a polytheist and the Muslims had tremendous spoils of war. Safwaan looked at a valley full of camels and sheep for a long time. When the Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, saw him doing this, he said: "Do you like it, Abu Wahb?" Safwaan said: 'Yes. The Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, said: "All this is yours." Safwaan, almost not believing what he heard, said: "Only a Prophet could ever give this. I testify that none is worthy of worship but Allaah and that Muhammad is His Slave and Messenger. This led him to embrace Islam. The Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, did the same thing with a man who came to him asking for help. The man went back to his people saying: "My people, embrace Islam, for Muhammad gives so much charity as if he has no fear of poverty." (Saheeh Muslim). Allahu Akbar. We ask Allah to aid us in learning and implimenting more about our beloved messenger of Allah. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...

ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
