THIRD REMINDER. Saturday. COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS BETWEEN WIVES OF TODAY AND THOSE OF YESTERDAY. BismilLah I got these analyses yesterday from one of my contacts and feel it's worth re-sharing. (1). Yesterday's Wives: "Welcome my husband, hope the office was not stressful, your favourite food is ready, let me lead you to the bathroom first, then you take your dinner, you look so tired, I am sure you'll be okay after eating your dinner. Welcome my one and only." Today's Wives: "Please don't put unecessary pressure on me, you can go to the fridge pick up the stew, microwave it and boil the remaining rice, I am your wife and not your cook." (2). Yesterday's Wives:"Darling, stop thinking about our lack of money. It's going to be temporary. God will see us through and we are going to come out of it stronger. After all we can still feed ourselves and the children. We need to give the Almighty that glory. I am with you through thick and thin, my husband, the owner of my dowry." Today's Wives: "Look, I am sick and tired of living in this abject poverty with you. Why did you bring me to your house when you know that you are not ready for marriage? Every day it's one complaint or the other. Your friends have all these things going for them. Why don't you get a loan? Look, if you don't find solutions to your problems, I will go back to my parents' house." (3). Yesterday's Wives: "My husband, take heart and don't worry. I shall go with you to Asankregwa. You are being transfered from head office in Accra, it might be a blessing in disguise. We shall take advantage of the agricultural opportunities of the rich and fertile area to advance our well being and self-sustenance. Some disappointments could be a blessing." Today's Wives: Asenke....what?? Me I can't follow you to that place. What language do people even speak in Asenkregwa...Will our kids get friends? Puleeeasee.....coffee shops, cinemas, hello? From Accra to Asankregwa? I can't cope with such a demotion. To start living in a remote village. You had better look for another job or you're going alone. We need to pray for today's wives. May Allah aid our sisters to be like yesterday's wives. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
