FIRST REMINDER. Wednesday. 29th day of Dhul Hijjah. LWAYS REMEMBER THE FIRST COMMAND OF ALLAH. BismilLaah Most of us know by heart the very first words that were revealed from the Qur’an to Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). But sometimes we don’t reflect deep enough on the major life changing message that it contains. The circumstances of revealing those verses relate so much to the state that many people find themselves in today … this is the state of seeking meaning, seeking answers, clarity, purpose and direction. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him) had a very good and comfortable life. He had an honourable wife whom he loved dearly, he had children, he had a good job, he was well respected in his community… he had a very successful and stable life. But something was missing. Something big was missing and it was aching his heart and he needed answers, he needed clarity, he needed meaning and understanding. What’s beyond this life? What’s the purpose? What’s the meaning? What’s next? Is this it? Marriage, children, job, living, dying…. This is it? But what’s in my heart? Why is it still searching? What is it searching for? What am I missing? He left everything behind and went in seclusion in the cave to think and reflect and listen attentively to what’s in his heart because he knew someone was listening and he knew there were answers… Then came the answer. “Recite!” “Recite what exactly?” “Recite I said!” “I don’t know how to recite what you’re asking me to recite … I can’t recite!!” Then he received the answer that gives meaning to everything he ever had to wonder about…“Recite in the name of your Lord who created – Created man from a clinging substance. Recite , and your Lord is the most Generous, Who taught by the pen, Taught man that which he knew not.” (Qur’an 96: 1-5). Beautiful, deep, subtle yet powerful answer that cannot be taken at face value. When Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam needed to understand this life, he was then given the most truthful and most powerful answer: Read life through the lens of its Creator! He will teach you how to read life, how to read yourself, and how to find what you are looking for. It is not random “reading” or “reciting” that was instructed here. It was a specific instruction to know and understand the truth from its Source whose Name is The Ultimate Truth. To be continued in Shaa Allah. Don't miss the second Reminder please. May ALLAH keep guiding us all till Jannat becomes our abode. May Allah ease the suffering of all our oppressed Muslims in other parts of the globe. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
