FIRST REMINDER. Tuesday. RULINGS ON EID FALLING ON FRIDAY. BismilLah. Allah the Mighty Creator of the Universe and beyond has offered us some options when it comes to some aspects of worship BUT it's very very important that we choose the best of the any options as our priority. I always advise fellow brothers and sisters that never miss Jumuat prayers on Eid day because we have options to pray zuhur. There is no doubt that we have options to pray zuhur on Friday even though it's compulsory for the local imam to organise the Jumuat prayers but individually, we may choose to follow the imam or pray zuhur if something very important makes it impossible to join for Jumuat prayers so do not intentionally decide not to participate for Jumuat with excuse of Eid prayers. In the Saheeh of al-Bukhaari (may Allah have mercy on him) and the Muwatta’ of imam Maalik (may Allah have mercy on him) it is narrated that Abu ‘Ubayd, the freed slave of Ibn Azhar, said: I was present on the occasion of two Eids (together) with ‘Uthmaan ibn ‘Affaan; that was on a Friday. He offered the (Eid) prayer before the khutbah, then delivered the khutbah and said: O people, on this day two Eids have come to you together, so whoever wants to wait for Jumu‘ah with the people of al-‘Awaali, let him do so, and whoever wants to go back, then I gave him permission to do so.  It was narrated that ‘ imam Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may Allah have mercy on him) said, when two Eids came together on one day: Whoever wants to pray Jumu‘ah, let him do so, and whoever wants to stay, let him do so.” Sufyaan said: i.e., let him stay in his house. Narrated by ‘Abd ar-Razzaaq in al-Musannaf; a similar report was narrated by Ibn Abi Shaybah.  Based on these hadiths that have isnaads going back to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and many other ahadith, it's correct that an individual may choose to pray zuhur at home or with others in jamaat without attending Jumuat prayers. Allah knows best. To be continued in Shaa Allah. May Allah aid us to make the best out of these remaining days to Eid day on Friday. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Sha’abaan 1446AH, Sunday. 16th Feb. 2025). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The MIGHTY and the MAJESTIC) has sent HIS Messenger with the true deen for the purpose of ending the sovereignty of all false gods and granting us immense freedom so that we live as servants of none but the LORD of the UNIVERSE, no matter how much the idolaters and polytheists may dislike or oppose such a course. Thus, these three meanings of deen stand out: To acknowledge ALLAH as the ONLY LORD, MASTER and RULER. To obey and serve ONLY HIM. To be accountable to HIM, to fear only HIS punishment and to covet only HIS reward. Deen also includes obedience to ALLAH'S Messengers. The commandments of ALLAH Azzawajal have been given to human beings through HIS books and HIS Messengers. ALLAH Azzawajal says; Children of Aadam! If there should come to you Messengers from among you, who convey MY revelations unto you, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ar-ba'a. 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Wednesday 20th January 2021). Who are Believers. BismilLah.  Lets check in  Suurah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers). ALLAH says; 1. Successful indeed are the believers.  2. Those who offer their Salaat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. 3. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that ALLAH has forbidden).  4. Those who pay the Zakat . 5. Those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 6. Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; etc ALLAH, the Most High, says “…for verily ALLAH is with those who believe.”[Al Qur’an 8:19] When ALLAH says that “HE is with the believers”, it means that the believers don’t need anyone else. Rasullulah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said “Be mindful of ALLAH, and ALLAH will protect you. Be m...
