SUMMARY OF SURAH AL-KAHF (Qur’an Chapter 18) WITH LESSONS AND REFLECTIONS. DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaumul Jumuat, 7th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1447AH, Friday, 28th November, 2025.  BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullah brothers and sisters and faith. Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week. We are know the importance of this day and the recommendation by our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam. Let's remind ourselves with the summary of stories surah and some lessons from it to aid our eemaan or faith.  Surah Al-Kahf contains four major stories: 1. The People of the Cave (Ashab al-Kahf) A group of young believers fled their city to protect their faith from a tyrant ruler. ALLAH AzzaWajallah caused them to sleep for many years and woke them as a sign of HIS power. Lessons: Lets hold firmly to our faith even when society is pushing the opposite direction. The Youth had special strength when they r...
SOME KEY LESSONS AND REFLECTIONS FROM QUR’AN DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-khamis, 6th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1447AH, Thursday, 27th November, 2025.  30:20. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our topic from yesterday's reminder. Some key lessons  and reflections from yesterday's reminder is as follows; 1. Humility: Our beginning is dust, so we should never become arrogant. Everything we have is from ALLAH Azzawajal. 2. ALLAH'S Power Over Creation: From dust → a living human → societies and nations. This transformation is a miracle of ALLAH Azzawajal. 3. Signs for Those Who Reflect: ALLAH Azzawajal invites us to think: How did life begin? Why are humans able to spread, build, and develop? Who controls and sustains all this? The answer leads to recognizing TAWHEED, that ALLAH Azzawajal alone is the Creator and Sustainer of the entire Universe. 4. Human Life Is a Journey: From humble beginnings, ALLAH Azzawajal allows humans to spread and fill the earth, but our true re...
SOME PROOFS OF ALLAH'S EXISTENCE FROM THE HOLY QUR'AN.   DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Arba'a, 5th day of Jumaadal Aakhir 1447AH, Wednesday, 26th November, 2025. BismilLah.  ALLAH Azzawajal says in Qur’an 30:20 وَمِنْ ءَايَاتِهِۦٓ أَنْ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ إِذَآ أَنتُم بَشَرٌ تَنتَشِرُونَ “And among HIS signs is that HE created you from dust; then, suddenly, you are human beings dispersed (throughout the earth).”  ALLAH Azzawajal begins by pointing to HIS Aayaat (signs), proofs of HIS existence, power, and wisdom. These signs surround us in Creation, Nature, Human life, and the Universe. “…HE created us from dust”. This refers to the creation of Prophet Aadam (A.S.) directly from clay/dust and by extension, all humans came from Aadam A.S, so our origin is humble. It is a reminder that human beings should remain humble, no matter their knowledge, wealth, or status. “…then suddenly you are human beings dispersed” means: After being created from something as sim...
LET'S WORK WITH EXCELLENCE, RELY WITH FAITH, AND REMEMBER THAT ALLAH’S SUPPORT IS THE MOST POWERFUL FACTOR IN EVERY SUCCESS.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-khamis, 29th day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 20th November, 2025.  BismilLah.  ALLAH Azzawajal says in Qur'an 3:160; “If ALLAH helps you, none can overcome you; but if HE forsakes you, then who is there that can help you after HIM? So in ALLAH let the believers put their trust.” Let's study this verse in details. Please note that ALLAH’s Support Guarantees Victory. The verse emphasizes that true victory does not come from numbers, weapons, or strategy, but from ALLAH’s support. If ALLAH Azzawajal grants naṣr (help), then no external force, no matter how powerful, can defeat the believers. According to our schorlars, ALLAH’s help includes: Strengthening hearts with courage, Instilling unity among believers, Granting wisdom in decision-making, Turning circumstances in believers favor. This verse was especially r...
Some Great Role Models for our Muslim Sisters to emulate, our mothers in deen continues.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Arba'a, 28th day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Wednesday, 19th November, 2025. Bismillaah. Let's continue from yesterday's reminder about some of the greatest Women in Islam for our sisters and wives to emulate.  2. Our Sister Fatimah (R.A): Fatimah (R.A), the beloved daughter of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), is a prime role model for Muslim women. She embodied piety, humility, charity, and sacrifice in every aspect of her life—as a daughter, wife to Imam Ali (R.A), and mother to Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain (R.A). Her purity and sincerity earned her exceptional honor from the Prophet (ﷺ), who would stand for her and offer his place whenever she entered. He also said, *“Fatimah is a part of me, and whoever angers her angers me.”* Her life of modesty, simplicity, and devotion serves as a guiding example for Muslim women today. May ALLAH Azzawajal help our daughters a...
Some Great Role Models for our Muslim Sisters to emulate, our mothers in deen.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum athalaatha, 27th day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Tuesday, 18th November, 2025.   Bismillaah. If the history of Islam be viewed and analyzed from an objective point of view, then one would ultimately reach the conclusion that women have a great role and status in Islam and throughout the Islam history they have made their contributions and for those contribution they have been revered and appreciated.  Like renowned and great men of Islam there are Muslim women as well who have left their mark on Islamic history and who stand as role models for Muslim women to follow and seek guidance from. I will be sharing on some great women of Islam from today, who must be the role models of every Muslim woman of today and the lesson, which Muslim women must learn from their lives. The order is not of any relevant please.  1. Our Mother Khadijah (R.A): For rich Muslim wom...
The dangers of "Bid'ah"(Religious Innovation in Islam) and the need for tolerance  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum al-ithnayn, 26th day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Monday, 17th November, 2025.   BismilLah. I would like to remind myself and all brothers and sisters in Islam that, Islam is a complete way of life. Islam is not about what we think or what our Sheikh or our Imam or our fathers says but Islam is the way the Prophet taught us been narrated to us through the companions and their students till today. Whatever your father, Imam etc says about the deen, respectfully ask him for proof from the Quran, Sunnah or consensus of past scholars.  We read from almost any speech of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi the statements "Wa sharrul Umoori Muhdathaatuhaa, Wa kulla Bid'atin dhalalah, wa kulla dhalalatin fin-naar" (Sahih Muslim). Translation of the above Hadith: "Every religious innovation is a misguidance and every misguidance goes to Hell fire. The prophet ne...
CO-WIVES SHOULD LIVE LIKE MUSLIM SISTERS TO THEIR HUSBAND NOT AS RIVALS  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaumul ahad, 25th day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Sunday, 16th November, 2025.   BismilLah.  Undoubtedly, marrying more than one wife is a blessings and it's sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam so let's embrace it with fear of ALLAH Azzawajal. ALLAH Azzawajal doesn't permit anything bad so to see polygamy as bad or disliked is like saying to ALLAH, you permitted the wrong thing which no one will dare to say so let's strive for it only if we can fulfil it's obligations. Go for it without any fear if you've got good intentions. If you can't afford then maintain the one sincerely seeking ALLAH'S blessings but if you can manage two very well financially and fairly with fear of ALLAH Azzawajal then go for it brother.   The bond that governed the relationships between the wives of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was the b...
ENDURING GRIEF AND HARDSHIP IN LIFE AS MUSLIMS.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum As-sabt, 24th day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Saturday, 15th November, 2025.   BismilLaah. In Qur'an chapter 2, verses 155-157, Allah subhanallahu ta’ala reminds us: "Verily, ALLAH will test you with something of fear and hunger; some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil) but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere Who says when afflicted with calamity: "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhir raji-oon" "To ALLAH we belong and to HIM is our return." They are those on whom (descend) blessings from ALLAH and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance." From these verses, we can see that in a Muslim’s life, death, hardship, and suffering should never come as a complete surprise. In fact, ALLAH Azzawajal promises us some sort of difficulties as a certainty, somewhere during our lifetime. It is a test of our eeman, our faith in ALLAH Azzawajal, and we should not...
WORSHIPING WITH UNDERSTANDING DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaumul Jumuat, 23rd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Friday, 14th November, 2025.  BismilLah. Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week. Brothers and Sisters is Islaam, I hope no-one will take offence, and I mean no disrespect to anyone. But I have to say that too many of us do not appreciate the importance of understanding the meaning of our salaah, our du'ah and dhikr. Most of us are quite satisfied to recite without knowing the meaning, without caring to learn the translations including myself. I’m sure ALLAH Azzawajal enjoys listening to us reciting HIS holy Words with such tremendous passion, with meticulous pronunciation of every haraf in tajweed. But, how much more will ALLAH Azzawajal not appreciate our efforts, if we actually knew what we are saying?  Imagine, we are speaking to ALLAH Azzawajal in the most elegant language of the Quran, our lips are moving and creati...
HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in our com...
STAY AWAY FROM BAD FRIENDS DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Arba'a, 21st day of Jumaadal Uulaa 1447AH, Wednesday, 12th November, 2025.  BismilLah. Many of our brothers and sisters start practising the deen and decide wholeheartedly to progress on the straight path. Yet, shortly after, they find themselves retracting instead of progressing. In many cases, this goes back to either being alone and not having righteous companions or having the wrong companions. Both cases are very dangerous on one’s spiritual development. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him) had Sahaaba (companions). He actually didn’t need them, and if ALLAH Azzawajal willed, HE could have supported him with countless number of Angels to aid him in whatever he needed as ALLAH did in the battle of Badr. But ALLAH Azzawajal made the sahaaba (companions) of the Prophet a significant part of this deen and this path. It is as though ALLAH Almighty is teaching us that this path NEEDS righteous companions. As a ...
THE MOST EFFECTIVE GOOD DEEDS IN EXPIATING OUR SINS  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum athalaatha, 20th day of Jumaadal Uulaa 1447AH, Tuesday, 11th November, 2025.   BismilLaah. The Messenger of ALLAH (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) is reported to have said: “Musah (peace be upon him) said to ALLAH: ‘O Lord, teach me something by which I may remember You and call upon You.’ ALLAH Azzawajal said: ‘Say: Laa ilaaha ill- ALLAH (there is none worthy of worship  but ALLAH).’ He said: ‘O Lord, all Your slaves say that, but I wanted something that is only for me.’ He said: ‘O Muusah, if the seven heavens and all their inhabitants and the seven earths, were (placed) in one pan (of the Balance) and Laa ilaaha ill-Allah was placed in the other pan, Laa ilaaha ill-Allah would outweigh them.”Narrated by Ibn Hibbaan (6218) and al-Haakim (1936). This points to the virtue of these great words that we should strive to say regularly and believe in it with our heart, without visi...
A KEY INGREDIENT TOWARDS A SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGE. . DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum al-ithnayn, 19th day of Jumaadal Uulaa 1447AH, Monday, 10th November, 2025.  BismilLah. I always remind each other that Islam is a complete way of life. We have signed a covenant with ALLAH Azzawajal to live in this world by HIS rules and in return, HE Azzawajal has promised to reward our efforts with Paradise. As Muslims, we must focus on this basic fact and ensure we strive to please ALLAH Azzawajal in all we do through patience and perseverance and through the teachings and ways of our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam.  Marriage is a very important covenant between us and ALLAH Azzawajal. Both couple must go into the marriage with one very important reason which is to earn Paradise base on how we handle each other. When we focus on pleasing ALLAH Azzawajal then we may ignore each others errors in the marriage and ensure our enemy (Satan), does not get any space into the...
DO NOT WAIT TO REGRET AFTER DEATH  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaumul Ahad, 18th day of Jumaadal Uulaa 1447AH, Sunday, 9th November, 2025.  BismilLah.  ALLAH Azzawajal says in Qur'an 78:40. Indeed, WE have warned you of an impending punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish that I were dust!" The Day of Judgement is mentioned here to emphasize the fact that its occurrence has become close because everything that is coming will certainly come to pass. Also remember that when you die your judgement begins till the final judgement day. يَوْمَ يَنظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ (the Day when man will see that which his hands have sent forth,) meaning all of his deeds will be presented to him, the good and bad, and the old and new. Then ALLAH Azzawajal says, و...
ALLAH'S LOVE IS ATTAINED BY FOLLOWING THE MESSENGER Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum As-sabt, 17th day of Jumaadal Uulaa 1447AH, Saturday, 8th November, 2025.  BismilLah. Oh Muḥammad, Say to mankind, If you really love ALLAH, then follow me, ALLAH will love you...") meaning, what you will earn is much more than what you sought in loving HIM, for ALLAH will love you. Al-Hasan Al-Basri and several scholars among the Salaf commented, "Some people claimed that they love ALLAH. So ALLAH tested them with this Ayah; This honourable Aayah judges against those who claim to love ALLAH Azzawajal, yet do not follow his ways. Such people are not true in their claim until they follow the Shari`ah (Law) of Muhammad and his religion in all his statements, actions, and conditions sallallahu al...
WE HUMAN BEINGS WILL NOT BE LEFT NEGLECTED   DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaumul Jumuat, 16th day of Jumaadal Uulaa 1447AH, Friday, 7th November, 2025 BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week.  ALLAH Azzawajal says in Qur'an 75:36, أَيَحْسَبُ الإِنسَـنُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى (Does man think that he will be left neglected). This means that he will not be left neglected in this worldly life without being commanded and prohibited. He also will not be left neglected in his grave unattended to without being resurrected. Rather he will be commanded and prohibited in this life and gathered back to ALLAH in the abode of the Hereafter. The intent here is to affirm the existence of the abode of the final return and to refute whoever rejects it from the people of deviance, ignorance, and stubbornness.  ALLAH Azzawajal uses the beginning of creation as proof for the repetition of the creation in HIS saying, أَلَمْ يَ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 15th day of Jumaadal Uulaa 1447AH, Thursdays, 6th November, 2025. THE INHERITANCE OF THE QUR'AN IS OF THREE KINDS OF MUSLIMS continues. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our reminder yesterday on this verse; ALLAH Azzawajal says in Qur'an 35:32 ثُمَّ أَوۡرَثۡنَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصۡطَفَيۡنَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَاۖ فَمِنۡهُمۡ ظَالِمٌ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ وَمِنۡهُم مُّقۡتَصِدٌ وَمِنۡهُمۡ سَابِقٌۢ بِٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِ بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَضۡلُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ  ALLAH Azzawajal caused to inherit the Book those ALLAH have chosen of HIS servants; and among them is he who wrongs himself [i.e., sins], and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of ALLAH. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty. Ali bin Abi Talhah may ALLAH Azzawajal be pleased with him reported that Ibn `Abbas May ALLAH Azzawajal be pleased with him commented on the Ayah: ثُمَّ أَوْرَثْنَا الْكِتَـبَ الَّذِينَ اصْطَف...
THE INHERITANCE OF THE QUR'AN IS OF THREE KINDS OF MUSLIMS  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 14th day of Jumaadal Uulaa 1447AH, Wednesday, 5th November, 2025. BismilLah. ALLAH Azzawajal caused to inherit the Book those ALLAH have chosen of HIS servants; and among them is he who wrongs himself [i.e., sins], and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of ALLAH. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty. From the above verse, we noticed that Muslims are divided into three types.' ALLAH Azzawajal says: فَمِنْهُمْ ظَـلِمٌ لِّنَفْسِهِ (Then of them are some who wrong themselves,) these are the ones who are careless about doing some obligatory actions and who commit some forb...
SMILING AND POLITENESS IN SPEECH IS SADAQA  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 13th day of Jumaadal Uulaa 1447AH, Tuesday, 4th November, 2025.  BismilLah. ALLAH, the Exalted, says: "And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers).'' (15:88) "And had you been severe and harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about you.'' (3:159). Sheikh Adi bin Hatim (May ALLAH be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of ALLAH (PBUH) said, "Guard yourselves against the Fire (of Hell) even if it be only with half a date-fruit (given in charity); and if you cannot afford even that, you should at least say a good word.'' [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. The prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam said, Smiling is sadaqah.  The above highlights the point that Sadaqah has great benefits and even in its minimum scope and quantity of it can ensure our safety against Hell-fire. We are told that if we do not have even a single date o...
SELLING ALCOHOL AND OTHER HARAAM ITEMS TO NON-MUSLIMS IS FORBIDDEN AND SINFUL.   DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 12th day of Jumaadal Uulaa 1447AH, Monday, 3rd November, 2025. BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of those who are still alive this morning. We slept with 100s and 1000s yesterday but they are no more alive. It's my hope that many are fasting this morning.  The Islamic ruling on this topic is that; Selling Alcohol, pork and whatever is haraam for us is haraam whether it is sold to a Muslims or non Muslims. The evidence for that is as follows:   The Messenger (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) taught us an important principle when he said: “When ALLAH Azzawajal forbids a thing, HE (also) forbids its price.” Narrated by Abu Dawood, 3488. Similar hadith is narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1212; Muslim, 1581. May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
HOW DO WE DISCOVER ALLAH'S PLAN FOR US? WHERE DO WE FIND IT? HOW DO WE REALIZE IT IN OUR LIVES? DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 11th day of Jumaadal Uulaa 1447AH, Sunday, 2nd October, 2025. Bismillah. If you are trying to follow ALLAH'S guidance, but you find yourself confronted by obstacles and hardship, don’t despair. The hardship is probably a sign that you are on the right path. Consider our Prophets (may ALLAH bless them all) who faced tremendous obstacles: The Prophet Ibrahim (alayhis-salam, peace be upon him) was disowned by his family and thrown by his people into a blazing fire; ALLAH Azzawajal rescued him from that, and made him the father of two nations Through Ismaaael and Ishaaq. ALLAH Azzawajal inspired the mother of the baby Musah (as) and told the mother to place her infant into a chest and send it floating down the River Nile. That must have been an enormously difficult plan to follow, but she trusted her Lord, with the result that an entire people were...
JUDGEMENT OF ALLAH AZZAWAJALLA.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 10th day of Jumaadal Uulaa 1447AH, Saturday, 1st October, 2025.  Bismillaah Let's be careful how we deal with others as we will be accountable for all on judgement day.  Imam Bukhari narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam) said: "Whoever wronged his brother with regard to his honour or any other matter, should seek his forgiveness today, before there are no longer any dinars, or dirhams; and if he has any righteous deeds, they will be taken from him, in accordance with the wrong he did; and if he has no hasanaat(good deeds), some of the sayi`aat(bad deeds) of his counterpart will be taken and added to his burden.” [Bukhari: Kitaab al-Mazaalim, Baab man kaanat lahu mazlamah `inda rajul, Fath al-Baari, 5/101].  This person whose hasanaat are taken from him by the people, and then has their sayi`aat placed on his own back, is the one who is...
