DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 14th day of Swafar 1447AH, Friday, 8th August 2025.

ADHEARING AND IMPLEMENTING THE SUNNAS OF THE PROPHET (S.A.W), EVERYDAY AND NIGHT. BismilLah

First of all, Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week,  last week we were with souls like Hon. Dr. Alhaji Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed but today he and many muslim brothers and sisters including my aunty, Maryam are no more with us, may Allah Azzawajal forgive them all. Back to our topic.

ALLAH, The Exalted says (what means): "O you who have believed, fear ALLAH and speak words of appropriate justice. HE will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys ALLAH and HIS Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment." [QURAN: 70 - 71].

Whoever reforms his inner intentions ALLAH, The Almighty will reform his or her outer actions, ease his matter and make all creation love him. Pay much heed to the matter of reforming the inner intentions for if they are corrupt the good outer actions will avail nothing.

What a Muslim should care in his daily life is acting ONLY to please ALLAH Azzawajal through the Sunnah of our beloved Messenger, peace and blessing be upon him, whether they are words, actions, motions or motionless etc. Unfortunately, we are in the time that has a lot of those who claim the love of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him with their mouth without following his actions, let's apply the verse of trial to such a claim; ALLAH The Almighty says (what means): "Say, [O Muhammad], “If you love ALLAH, then follow me, so ALLAH will love you and forgive you your sins. And ALLAH is Forgiving and Merciful." [Aal-‘Imraan: 31].

The status of any believer is regarded and considered according to his adherence to the footsteps of the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him. The more one fulfils the Sunnah, the more he will be honoured and praised by ALLAH the Almighty. Sticking to the Sunan of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is a kind of protecting obligations and enjoinments. It is a form of increasing rewards and attaining perfection. It is the honour of following the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the beauty of imitation and the life of consciousness. Thus, desires will not go astray and the love of ALLAH the Almighty will be acquired. ALLAH, the Almighty says in the Hadeeth Qudsi: “My slave keeps drawing near to me using supererogatory acts of worship until I love Him.” Allahu Akbar. Please remember today is Friday. Let's adhere to the Sunnahs of Fridays.

May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding us all and increase us in beneficial knowledge. Aameen. May ALLAH Azzawajal forgive all our departed souls and grant them Jannatul Firdaus. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 17th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Saturday 30th January 2021). A SERIOUS CONDITION TO FULFILL FOR ALLAH TO ANSWER OUR DUA. BismilLah Consuming haraam wealth is one of the major reason why du’aa’s are not answered. Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “O people, ALLAAH is Good and only accepts that which is good. ALLAAH commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as HE gave to the Messengers. HE says; ‘O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods which ALLAAH has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits)] and do righteous deeds. Verily, I am Well-Acquainted with what you do’ [al-Mu’minoon 23:51]. ‘O you who believe (in the Oneness of ALLAAH, Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that I have provided you with’ [al-Baqarah 2:172]. Another important point is to rea...
