DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 6th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 31st July 2025.

THE RATIONAL AND BENEFITS OF SALAT (Islamic Prayers). BismilLah.

Before we jump into the topic, let me mention what our scholars have said about the beauty of Islam.

Islam, which means complete and peaceful submission to the Will of ALLAH (God) and obedience to HIS Law, is the perfect religion and the complete way of life for all mankind. One of the very significant Aayat (Qur'anic verses) that ALLAH finally revealed to Prophet Muhammad(may the peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him), clearly states that Islam is perfect. ALLAH, the (only) God in heaven and on earth (43:84) and our Creator (2:21), says in the Glorious Qur'an:

"...This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion..." (5:3). Allahu Akbar.

Islam provides us with complete guidance for every aspect of our lives. It solves all sorts of problems facing humanity now and in the future, be it physical, material or economic, socio-cultural, political, legal, religious and spiritual, and the like. Everything it enjoins us to do is for our benefit. An example of this is the performance of Salat (Islamic prayers), particularly the five compulsory daily prayers. ALLAH Azzawajal commands us to perform Salat (2:110; 4:103; 20:14) for our benefit and not because HE needs it as HE is free of any need. HE does not depend on anyone. ALLAH alone possesses all power. HE is the All-Knowing, the Powerful (42:50), the Almighty, the Wise (59:24). When HE desires a thing HE only says 'Be' and it is (36:82). In other words, nothing is impossible to Him. HE is the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds (1:2). All creatures depend on HIM (11:6). To HIM belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. HE creates what HE wills (42:49). HE enlarges and restricts provisions to whom HE wills (49:12). True prayer is due to HIM Alone (13:14). We have to worship ALLAH Azzawajal Alone (6:102, 103; 11:1-2) because HE commands us to worship HIM. ALLAH Azzawajal says:

"That is ALLAH your Rabb(Lord)! There is NONE but HE, the Creator of all things; then you worship HIM: and HE has the power to dispose of all affairs. No vision can grasp HIM, but HIS Grasp is over all vision; HE is Subtle, Well-Aware." (6:102-103). Allahu Akbar. Isn't this beautiful and peace of mind way of worshiping such a powerful power and avoid the confusions of other ways of worship? May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 17th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Saturday 30th January 2021). A SERIOUS CONDITION TO FULFILL FOR ALLAH TO ANSWER OUR DUA. BismilLah Consuming haraam wealth is one of the major reason why du’aa’s are not answered. Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “O people, ALLAAH is Good and only accepts that which is good. ALLAAH commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as HE gave to the Messengers. HE says; ‘O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods which ALLAAH has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits)] and do righteous deeds. Verily, I am Well-Acquainted with what you do’ [al-Mu’minoon 23:51]. ‘O you who believe (in the Oneness of ALLAAH, Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that I have provided you with’ [al-Baqarah 2:172]. Another important point is to rea...
