 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 27th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Monday, 23rd June 2025.

TO SIN IS NOT THE PROBLEM IN LIFE. BismilLah.

First of all, what was the difference between our grandfather Aadam (AS) and Iblis (The cursed Satan)? Aadam A.S, admitted his sin and asked forgiveness but Iblis was arrogant and said he was better than Aadam A.S.

None of us is perfect, and because of this, we all make mistakes. In fact, even though the prophets never committed major sins, even they made mistakes. We learn this from the very start of the creation of man with Aadam Alayhi Salaam.

When Aadam A.S ate from the forbidden tree, he disobeyed ALLAH. But he was not the only one to disobey ALLAH Azzawajal. The shaytan, Iblis, also disobeyed ALLAH Azzawajal when ALLAH Azzawajal commanded him to bow down to Aadam but he refused. So, if they both did wrong, how did one become a great man and prophet, while the other became the greatest enemy of ALLAH Azzawajal?

The difference was that Iblis was arrogant. He was unwilling to admit he did wrong, rather he justified his actions by claiming he was better than Aadam A.S, and therefore would not bow down to him.

Aadam on the other hand had a completely different reaction to his disobedience. He immediately realized his mistake and repented to ALLAH saying, “Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.” [Quran 7:23].

What do we learn from this?

From this, we see that it is not the act of disobedience itself which causes a person’s downfall, rather it’s his action after it. In fact, the Prophet sallallahu  alaihi  wasallam said, “Every son of Aadam commits sin, and the best of those who commit sin are those who repent.’” [Ibn Majah Book 37, Hadith 4392].

This means that we are naturally going to make mistakes. But it is what we do after that mistake that earns ALLAH’S ’s pleasure or displeasure. Never reveal your sins to anyone and never commit open sins allowing others to witness your sins and always regret, repent and seek forgiveness.

May ALLAH Azzawajal keep protecting us from wrongdoing, and may HE lead us to the path of the prophets and the righteous. May HE forgive us for every mistake we make and any sins we commit. May HE grant us and our loved ones the best in this life and the best in the akhirah and grant us success over the kuffar. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 17th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Saturday 30th January 2021). A SERIOUS CONDITION TO FULFILL FOR ALLAH TO ANSWER OUR DUA. BismilLah Consuming haraam wealth is one of the major reason why du’aa’s are not answered. Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “O people, ALLAAH is Good and only accepts that which is good. ALLAAH commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as HE gave to the Messengers. HE says; ‘O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods which ALLAAH has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits)] and do righteous deeds. Verily, I am Well-Acquainted with what you do’ [al-Mu’minoon 23:51]. ‘O you who believe (in the Oneness of ALLAAH, Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that I have provided you with’ [al-Baqarah 2:172]. Another important point is to rea...
