DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 5th day of Muharram 1447AH, Monday, 30th June 2025.  LETS STRIVE TO BE TRUTHFUL AND FOLLOW THOSE WHO PRACTICE TRUTHFULNESS. BismilLah.  ALMIGHTY ALLAH Azzawajal says in Qur'an 9:119 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُواْ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ  O you who have believed, fear ALLAH and be with those who are true. The Ayah says, to adhere to and always say the truth so that you become among its people and be saved from destruction. ALLAH Azzawajal will make a way for you out of your concerns and a refuge. Imam Ahmad recorded that Abdullah bin Mas`ud said that the Messenger of ALLAH said, Hold on to truth, for being truthful leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. Verily, a man will keep saying the truth and striving for truth, until he is written before ALLAH as very truthful (AS-Siddiiq). Beware of lying, for lying leads to sin, and sin leads to the Fire. Verily, the man will keep lying ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 4th day of Muharram 1447AH, Sunday, 29th June 2025.  MISSING JUMUAT DUE TO LECTURES OR Work ETC. BismilLah.  We must understand as Muslims that Jumu‘ah prayer is obligatory for the able-bodied Muslim man and that staying away from it without any effort not to miss it is a grave sin. What is required is to be very keen to attend this prayer regularly, for it is a weekly prayer and weekly Eid for the Muslims, the greatest and best of the days of the week. So it is not permissible to be heedless or negligent about it. Almost all Scholars who qualify for Issuing Fatwas have said that: Jumu‘ah prayer is an individual obligation (fard ‘ayn); it is not permissible to miss it because of working hours study, and the like. ALLAH, may HE be glorified, says “And whoever fears ALLAH - HE will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect” [at-Talaaq 65:2-3]. From this verse, it's clear that we must make our priority...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 3rd day of Muharram 1447AH, Saturday, 28th June 2025.  PRACTICAL Polygamy Survival Guide. BismilLah.  Due to popular requests, I was searching for scholarly books on practical steps to help polygamy marriage couples like myself. I came across the below article which contains excellent practical guidelines. This reminder is long so please treat it as reading a mini book to benefit from it even if you are single.  Sister Dhakiyya Umm Ruqayya presents a practical guide for how to make polygamy work, drawn from personal experience within an Islamic context. Polygamy is often seen as the end of a happy marriage, but it need not be that at all. Take it from me, I’m a happily married first wife and I am a friend to my co-wife, AlhamdulilLah. In fact, she’s sitting in the same room as me as I’m typing this. Polygamy can work if the husband and both or all wives go about it in the right way based on the teachings of Islam. I have heard m...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 2nd day of Muharram 1447AH, Friday, Jumuat (CONGREGATION PRAYER) IS HERE AGAIN WITH US ALHAMDULILLAH. BismilLah.  ALLAH The Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an: "O believers, when the call is proclaimed for the prayer on Friday or when it's time for Jumuat, come to the remembrance of ALLAH and leave off business, that is better for you if you did know."Al-Quran 62:9. This verse clearly shows that anything we do even if halaal at jumuat time must be avoided because we are to leave everything and go to masjid to listen to khutbah and join jamaat for the salaat. Do not wait after khutbah then you rush to join the salaat. The khutbah is part of the salaat even if you don't understand the language just sit down and listen to gain its rewards.  Sisters and mothers should be encouraged to go for jumuat as well if the jumuat masjid is not far from them or there is no risk for them on their way. Aim to give to charity each Friday at lea...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 1st day of Muharram 1447AH, Thursday, 26th June 2025. OUR NEW YEAR HAS BEGUN TODAY ALHAMDULILLAH  BismilLah.  The Hijri calendar is lunar and consists of 12 months. Four of these twelve months are sacred: Dhul Qaeda, Dhul Hijjah, Muharram, and Rajab. ALLAH Azzawajal says; “Indeed, the number of months ordained by ALLAH is twelve, in ALLAH’s Record since the day HE created the heavens and the earth of which four are sacred.” [Qur’an 9:36]. We’ve completed two sacred months already, which granted us an excellent opportunity to come closer to ALLAH Azzawajal, and the third month, Muharram, finishes those three months. It is the first month and marks the beginning of a new Islamic year. This month is “the month of ALLAH ” and contains a special day that marks the most known importance of Muharram. On the 10th of Muharram is the Day of Aashura, and this day was obligatory to fast before fasting in Ramadhan was ordered. “ALLAH’s Messenge...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 29th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Wednesday, 25th June 2025. USING OUR INCOME OR WEALTH WISELY_l. BismilLaah. Imaam Abu Huraira (may ALLAH be pleased with him) reported ALLAH'S Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: A servant says, My wealth. my wealth, but out of his wealth three things are only his: whatever he eats and makes use of or by means of which he dresses himself and it wears out or he gives as a charity, and this is what he stored for himself (as a reward for the Hereafter), and what is beyond this (it is of no use to you) because you are to depart and leave it for other people. (Sahih Muslim, Book 55, Hadith 6). Let's invest our little savings into the ways of ALLAH Azzawajal such as supporting orphans, support In building Mosques and Islamic Schools, Wells for Communities in need of drinking water, supporting our relatives and those in need etc. These things are our true savings which can benefit us when we die. We don...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 28th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Tuesday, 24th June 2025 WE ARE THE ARCHITECTS OF OUR OWN SUFFERING. BismilLah. The sad reality we find ourselves today as humans, especially we, the Muslims is the fact that we hate each other, we envy each other, we blame each other, and we focus on accusing and abusing others. We never focus on ourselves first and try to be good human beings. We all know the many hadith and Qur'an verses on this point I'm raising today.  The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said no one can claim to be a believer if he does not love for others what he loves for himself. This is a well-known authentic hadith, right? But sadly majority of Muslims today cannot claim to pass this basic rule of our deen. We hate our parents and children, we hate our wives and husbands, co-wives hate each other and the worse is to see some who claim to be Muslims even aiding the kuffar to kill Muslims astaghfirullah. This is a serious issue...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 27th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Monday, 23rd June 2025. TO SIN IS NOT THE PROBLEM IN LIFE. BismilLah.  First of all, what was the difference between our grandfather Aadam (AS) and Iblis (The cursed Satan)? Aadam A.S, admitted his sin and asked forgiveness but Iblis was arrogant and said he was better than Aadam A.S. None of us is perfect, and because of this, we all make mistakes. In fact, even though the prophets never committed major sins, even they made mistakes. We learn this from the very start of the creation of man with Aadam Alayhi Salaam.  When Aadam A.S ate from the forbidden tree, he disobeyed ALLAH. But he was not the only one to disobey ALLAH Azzawajal. The shaytan, Iblis, also disobeyed ALLAH Azzawajal when ALLAH Azzawajal commanded him to bow down to Aadam but he refused. So, if they both did wrong, how did one become a great man and prophet, while the other became the greatest enemy of ALLAH Azzawajal? The differen...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 26th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Sunday, 22nd June 2025. AN EVIL DISEASE OF THE HEART TO BE CAREFUL ABOUT. BismilLah.  As human beings, we have this dangerous disease of acting to please others instead of ALLAH Azzawajal. Imagine someone offering Salaat, and as soon as he/she notices someone watching, he or she tries to perfect it than how he was offering it, that's a minor shirk if not major because it means you are trying to please the person looking at you than ALLAH Azzawajal looking at you live all the time.  This is the disease of ar-Riya (show-off). It’s very difficult. Nobody can say, “I’m safe from ar-riyaa. The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam warned us about ar-riyaa, but what is the meaning of ar-riyaa? Ar-Riyaa is so dangerous that the Prophet was very concerned about it. He said, “Indeed the thing I fear for you the most is the minor shirk (associating partners with ALLAH).” We have minor shirk and major shirk. Major sh...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 25th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Saturday, 21st June 2025. FIR'AWN COMMITTED THE WORSE ATROCITIES BUT ALLAH SAID IT WAS A GREAT TRIAL. BismilLah.  At this sad reality of our fellow Muslims suffering across the globe, let us remind each other about what ALLAH Azzawajal said during similar times in the past. And [recall] or remember when ALLAH saved you [i.e., your forefathers] from the people of Pharaoh, who afflicted you with the worst torment, slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. And in that was a GREAT TRIAL from your Lord. Allahu Akbar.  We should mention that in the blessing there a is test, the same as with hardship, for ALLAH Azzawajal says, وَنَبْلُوكُم بِالشَّرِّ وَالْخَيْرِ فِتْنَة...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 24th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Friday, 20th June 2025. THE LIGHT OF THE TRUTH. Bismillah Alhamdulillah, for blessing us to be part of this blessed day of the week. The human being is a unique creature. ALLAH Azzawajal establishes humans as HIS representatives or deputies to govern over all other creatures on earth. Humans are endowed with the faculty of REASON, which sets us apart from all other animals. Together with this faculty to discriminate and discern, man is given the freedom (free-will) to choose for himself a way of life worthy of his or her position as ALLAH'S representative or to fall lower than the lowest of all animals or creations. Man is born pure and sinless and is given the choice to do righteous deeds or indulge in sins. The Creator, out of HIS abundant Love and Mercy for mankind has not left us in darkness to discover the right path by trial and error alone. Coupled with our intellectual capability to reason, our Creator ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-Khamis, 23rd day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Thursday, 19th June 2025 BEWARE OF ALLAH’S JUSTICE.     BismilLah.  Some Muslims are asking why ALLAH Azzawajal is not helping or doing justice to the kuffar who are humiliating Muslims as HE did during the battle of Badr and also when the kuffar tried to destroy the Ka’bah. Let me remind all of us that,  ALLAH says in Qur'an 13:11, There are guardians over everyone, both before him and behind him, who guard him by ALLAH'S command “Verily, ALLAH will not change the (good) condition of a people as long as they do not change their state (of goodness) themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to ALLAH)” (Quran 13:11). This is an important verse which indicates that ALLAH, may HE be blessed and exalted, in HIS perfect justice and wisdom does not change the condition of the people from good to bad or from bad to good, from ease to hardship or from hardship to ea...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 22nd day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Wednesday, 18th June 2025.  HOW TO INCREASE OUR SUSTENANCE OR WEALTH. BismilLah.  ALLAH the Almighty says:   “ And remember when your Lord proclaimed, ‘if you are grateful, I will certainly give you more. But if you are ungrateful, surely My punishment is severe.” (Quran, 14:7). ALLAH Azzawajal promises us in this beautiful verse to give us more if we are grateful.  Showing gratefulness to ALLAH is not done simply by saying Alhamdulillah, but it is also by using what ALLAH gave you in the manner HE is pleased with by offering some to relatives and the needy instead of lying you don't have it. When you appreciate the little you have then offer some in sadaqah to others then be sure that ALLAH Azzawajal will give you more. You can say Alhamdulillah 1000 times a day but if you don't support the needy, your relatives and the work of ALLAH, you may even fall into HIS punishment due to your ung...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 21st day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Tuesday, 17th June 2025.  PARTIES AND VISITING THE PILGRIM TO CONGRATULATE THEM AFTER RETURNING FROM HAJJ. BismilLah.  As Muslims, it's important to avoid anything that can create divisions and unnecessary arguments that can easily create hatred among the communities and even among relatives.  Let's note that to visit, congratulate and even organize welcome moderate welcome party for the pilgrim is permissible in Islam. Some do that as a custom and tradition and there is nothing wrong with that.  Custom and Tradition which are not an act of worship, cannot be disallowed on the grounds that the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) and his companions did not do it, because it is well known that the basic principle with regard to customs and traditions is that they are permissible, and the one who forbids them has to bring evidence.  There is nothing wrong with  honour...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 20th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Monday, 16th June 2025 THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT IS A FACT NOT THEORY. BismilLah.  Disbelievers may choose to believe it or not, death is a fact that they witness on a daily basis and the day of judgment is also a fact. The Quran states that this worldly life is a preparation for eternal life after death. But those who deny it become slaves of their passions and desires, making fun of virtuous and God-conscious people. Such people realize their folly only at the time of their death and wish to be given a further chance in the world but in vain. Their miserable state at the time of death, the horror of the Day of Judgment, and the eternal bliss guaranteed to the sincere believers are very clearly and beautifully mentioned in the following verses of the Quran: ALLAH Azzawajal says; [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, “My Lord, send me back that I might d...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Ahad, 19th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Sunday, 15th June 2025 ATTAINING JANNAT IS NOT CHEAP SO LETS STRIVE FOR IT  BismilLah Paradise is expensive merchandise, and al-Firdaws al-Aa‘laa is the highest and best part of Paradise. No one reaches it except those whom ALLAH Azzawajal has singled out for more of HIS grace due to their efforts on earth to please HIM.  The people of al-Firdaws al-A‘alaa are the ones who hasten to do good as they are commanded. ALLAH, may HE be exalted, says; “And those foremost (in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,) will be foremost (in Paradise). These will be those nearest to ALLAH. In the Gardens of Delight (Paradise)” [Quran 56:10-12].  Sheikh Ibn Katheer said:  Whoever competes in doing righteous deeds in this world and wins the contest, in the hereafter he will be among the first to attain reward and ho...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 18th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Saturday, 14th June 2025.  LESSONS FROM SUURAH An-NAS (QURAN 114) AND A BRIEF ADVISE. BismilLah.  Let's ask, who is the biggest victim of Satan (shaytan)? In the Qur’an, a lot of bad people are mentioned. Pharaoh comes in the second rank after Satan. What are the three names of ALLAH in the Surah? 1- Rabb An-Nas (Master of the people) 2- Malik An-Nas (King of the people) 3- Illah An-Nas (God of people). The Almighty ALLAH (The Most High) has mentioned what (Fir`awn) Pharaoh said about himself in the Qur’an: 1- “I am your most exalted Lord.” (An-Naziat 79:24). So, Pharaoh said: “I am a ‘rabb’.” He (Pharaoh) attributed to himself the biggest waswasah (whisperings) of shaytan which is supposed to be an attribute of ALLAH (The Most Perfect Power). What was the biggest problem of shaytan? What is the biggest thing that he can instill inside a human being? It is arrogance. What is the worst manifestation of ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 17th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Friday, 13th June 2025.  OUR KHUTBAH TODAY IS ABOUT SEEKING GUIDANCE OF ALLAH AZZAWAJAL ALL THE TIME. BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah, for blessing us to be part of this blessed day. We pray that as the hujjaaj complete their hajj rituals, may ALLAH Azzawajal brings them safely home and accepts their acts of worship. Aameen. May ALLAH Azzawajal make us among those who perform Hajj next year Aameen.  As Muslims,  we often forget that ALLAH Azzawajal alone can help us overcome the many problems we encounter in our daily lives. The secret is to keep ALLAH Azzawajal in mind, constantly, so that when any difficulty arises, we can address it confidently in the knowledge that ALLAH Azzawajal is aware of our situation. We should never face any problem on our own; ALLAH Azzawajal is with us and HE inspires and authorises the solution. I remember reading a story about a young man who was keen to be a spirit...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 16th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Thursday, 12th June 2025.  PRAISING OURSELVES IS HARAAM AND DANGEROUS ATTRIBUTE. BismilLah.  Remembering the Greatness of ALLAH, The Almighty, and that Pride is one of HIS Attributes as such you dare compare yourself to OUR CREATOR. In a Hadeeth on the authority of Abu Hurayrah the Prophet Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam reported that ALLAH The Almighty said that Pride, Glory and Greatness are among HIS Attributes which none of HIS CREATION shares with HIM. Thus, he who claims to possess such qualities, ALLAH Azzawajal will humiliate him or her in dunya and punish him and doom him to Hell. [In Saheeh Muslim]. Remembering man's origin and weakness. ALLAH Says (what means): HE created man from a sperm drop; then at once, he is a clear adversary [Quran 16:4]. Meaning you are nothing worth praising yourself regardless of what you've done.  Islam is a complete way of life and I'm sure all reading this kno...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 15th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Wednesday, 11th June 2025. THE SWEETNESS of FAITH is TO LOVE ALLAH, HIS Messenger, and the people.    BismilLah.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam,  said, “None will taste the sweetness of faith until he or she loves a person only for the sake of ALLAH Azzawajal until he would rather be thrown in the fire than to return to unbelief, and until ALLAH and HIS Messenger are more beloved to him than anything else.”Sahih Bukhari 5694, Sahih Muslim 43.  We can only claim to love ALLAH Azzawajal and HIS Messenger if we strive to obey the commandments of ALLAH and HIS Messenger. If you commit fornication (zina), steal, disrespect parents, work with alcoholic companies, treat our wives/husbands badly etc then we must fear that our eemaan or faith is weak and may even die without eemaan wa-eeyaazulLah. .  May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any sata...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Athalaatha, 14th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Tuesday, 10th June 2025. SOME BASIC ADVICE FOR US ALL. BismilLah.  As we complete the good deeds due to the best 10 days of the year, lets continue with the Mondays and Thursdays fastings and also the 3 white days of each Islamic calendar 13th, 14th and 15th.  Let's strive to live a life full of appreciation to ALLAH Azzawajal regardless of our situation seeking ALLAH to make it better. If things get difficult, the Qur'an should be your companion. If loneliness starts to hurt, send your supplications through the heavens, especially by reciting durood regularly (salaat Alan Nabi). When people ask how you are, always praise ALLAH by saying Alhamdulillah and smile even if things seem rough. When you see an ant or any little creations on the road, avoid stepping on it or hitting it with your car, seeking therein the Face of ALLAH; for perhaps HE will have mercy on you as you had mercy on it Remember tha...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 13th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Monday, 9th June 2025. HOW GOOD IS OUR EEMAAN? BismilLah.  Once a man asked the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), “What is Eeman (faith)?” He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) replied: “When your good deeds make you happy and your bad deeds make you sad, you have Eeman.” [by Imam Ahmad]. If you sin freely without feeling back but rather enjoy sinning then note that you are a Muslim by name (WaeezubilLah, ALLAH forbid). Firstly, what is good and what is bad? Suppose you immigrate to a country. Aren’t you bound to follow the rules in place there? Those were rules decided by human beings like you, but you are required to submit to them. You don’t have the right to live by rules you design for yourself that conflict with the system. For instance, if you decide to drive on the wrong side of the road, because you think that’s how it should be, it would be a disaster and you may be jailed right?  When we ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 12th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Sunday, 8th June 2025. HELPING EACH OTHER SINCERELY AS MUSLIMS. BismilLah Let’s remember that in the Quran, ALLAH the Beneficent regards Muslims as helpers, supporters, friends, and protectors of each other: ALLAH Azzawajal says; “The believers, men and women, are Auliyaa’ (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another (Quran: At-Taubah, 9:71).  Our duty, therefore, is to be genuinely concerned about each other so that we can contribute to making life pleasant in this life and to help ourselves and others to prepare for life in the Hereafter. And to reach that end, we need to be vigilant in ensuring that Islamic teachings are implemented and followed correctly. This necessitates giving and taking correct advice and constructive criticism wherever required. None can claim to be more knowledgeable than the rest as such we must strive to advise each other sincerely purely for ALLAH's sake. Let's fear...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 11th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Saturday, 7th June 2025. REWARDS, DEEDS and INTENTIONS. THE BEAUTY of ISLAM. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah, for guiding us through these blessed days of Dhul Hijjah. May ALLAH Azzawajal accept it from us all. For those who managed to sacrifice we say Alhamdulillah and if you intended but couldn't sacrifice may ALLAH Azzawajal accept your intentions. May ALLAH Azzawajal accept the eid and sacrifice of those offering it today and even tomorrow.  Aayah 161 of Surah Al-An’aam says: “Say, My Lord has guided me to a straight path, an upright religion, the faith of Ibrahim, a man of pure faith. He was not a polytheist (believing in many gods). This is one of the proofs in the Quran that all past prophets and messengers were Muslims who obeyed the commands of ALLAH Azzawajal at those times.    We ask ALLAH Azzawajal to keep guiding and protecting our eemaan from any satanic influences. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 9th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Thursday, 5th June 2025.  *_GOOD DEEDS ON THIS BLESSED DAY OF ARAFAH_*. BismilLah.  *_AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day_*. I hope that all those who could fast are Fasting be-iznilLah. *_May ALLAH accept it from us all and forgive our past, present and future shortcomings_*. Aameen.  After each salaat from the fajir of this morning, the 9th day of Dhul-Hijjah, it's recommended to recite the below Zikir up to the Asr of the 13th day of Dhul-Hijjah.  *Allaahu Akbar, Allaahu Akbar, Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah, WalLaahu Akbar, Allaahu Akbar, wa Lillaahi’l-hamd* (ALLAH is Most Great, ALLAH is Most Great, ALLAH is Most Great, there is none worthy of worship except ALLAH, ALLAH is Most Great, and all praise be to ALLAH).  As we fast today seeking ALLAH'S forgiveness, let's recite a lot of Zikir starting from the above. Followed by the following; "Laa 'ilaah...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 7th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Tuesday, 3rd June, 2025.  WHY YOU MUST NOT MISS FASTING ON ARAFAH DAY ON THURSDAY. BismilLah.  ALHAMDULILLAH, This year Arafaah Day falls on one of the best days to fast so that's a special day never to miss fasting because of the following,  1. It is the day on which the religion was perfected, ALLAH’S Favour was completed and the previous religious way of life (Ahlul Kitaab, Christianity & Jewism) was abrogated.  ALLAH Azzawajal says: “This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.” [Quran 5:3]. Imam ‘Umar(RA) said, “We know on which day and in which place that was revealed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him). It was when he was standing on ‘Arafaah on a Friday.”  ALLAHU AKBAR.  2. It is a day of Eid for the people who are performing Hajj.  The Prophet (peace and blessi...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 7th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Tuesday, 3rd June, 2025.  THE BEST ANIMALS FOR EIDUL ADHAR. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah, for guiding and blessing us to be part of these blessed days of the year. As we fast and do all kinds of good deeds seeking to please ALLAH Azzawajal,  we must ensure we buy the right and best animals for the sacrifice.  Scholars have said that the best animals for the sacrifice are: camels, then cows, if sacrificed on behalf of one person; then sheep; then goats; then one-seventh of a camel; then one-seventh of a cow. The best animals are those which are fat and have more meat, and are physically complete and good-looking. Any animal with any defects to any part of their body must be avoided as ALLAH Azzawajal does not deserve anything with defects. Castrated animals are allowed to be used for the sacrifice. Female animals can also be used. A sheep must be above 6 months and above. Goat must be 1year and...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 6th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Monday, 2nd June, 2025. WHO SHOULD OFFER A SACRIFICE DURING EIDUL ADHAR. BismilLah.    The Masenger of ALLAH (sallallahu Alaihi wasallam) is reported to have said: “Whoever can afford to offer a sacrifice but does not do so, let him not approach our place for prayer. (Reported by Ahmad and Ibn Maajah). Offering sacrifice during `Eid Al-Adha is regarded as waajib or mandatory according to Imam Abu Hanifah and as sunnah mu'akkadah or confirmed Sunnah according to other jurists for those who have regular income or those WHO CAN AFFORD. 7 people can share one cow as their sacrifice, a sheep and goat are all permitted. So basically it's only compulsory for those who can afford so please don't ignore it if you can afford it. It's not only for married couples, please. Any Muslim adult who can afford must do it seeking ALLAH's pleasure. One animal is sufficient on behalf of all the members of one house...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 5th day of Dhul-Hijjah 1446AH, Sunday, 1st June, 2025. ZIKIR IS A WEAPON FOR US. BismilLah.  Abu Hurairah (May ALLAH be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of ALLAH (PBUH) said, "There are two statements that are light for the tongue to remember, heavy in the Scales and are dear to the Merciful: `Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-Azim [Glory be to ALLAH and HIS is the praise, (and) ALLAH, the Greatest is free from imperfection). [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. This is quite possible for the reason that Almighty ALLAH is Capable of weighing things without even their physical form. The utterance of which is very easy will prove weighty. Every Muslim should make it a practice to repeat this and other Zikir frequently and apply it in our daily way of life, especially in these blessed days ahead of us. Don't be reciting ALLAH is sufficient for you whilst you visit pastors and soothsayers using evil jinns to deceive you and causing more ...
