DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 27th day of Shaw'waal 1446AH, Friday,  25th April 2025.

ISLAM between BLASPHEMY and EXTREMISM Continues. BismilLaah.

Alhamdulillah, for blessing us to be part of this blessed day of the week.

Let's continue with the reminder yesterday. If you couldn't receive it, please request a copy before reading this one.

Generally, our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam was commanded to endure any insult or mockery from his enemies, which resulted from their bad character.

ALLAH Azzawajal says:

Show forgiveness, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorant. Quran 7:199. Allahu Akbar.

Abdullah ibn Zubair may ALLAH Azzawajal be pleased  with him explained this verse, saying:

أُمِرَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَأْخُذَ الْعَفْوَ مِنْ أَخْلاَقِ النَّاسِ

The Prophet was commanded to forgive the people’s bad character.

Sunan Abu Dawud 4787.

There are many recorded incidents in the life of the Prophet in which he was mocked, defamed, and even physically attacked for his faith in Islam, but despite this abuse the Prophet responded with patience, forbearance, mercy, and forgiveness.

In one incident, a group of Jews insulted the Prophet in his own home. Although the Prophet was the leader of Madina at the time, he did not order these men to be harmed. Rather, he used the incident to teach his companions an important lesson about kindness.

Our mother, Aisha, may ALLAH be pleased with her reported: A group of Jews asked permission to visit the Prophet, and when they were admitted, they said, “Death be upon you.” I said to them, “Rather death and the curse of ALLAH be upon you!” The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ رَفِيقٌ يُحِبُّ الرِّفْقَ فِي الْأَمْرِ كُلِّهِ

O Aisha, ALLAH is KIND, and HE loves kindness in all matters. I said, “Have you not heard what they said?” The Prophet said:

I said to them: And upon you. Sahih Bukhari 6528, Muttafaqun Alayhi.

Sjeikh Al-Bukhari may ALLAH Azzawajal be pleased with him records this narration in his chapter regarding those who curse and abuse the Prophet, which strongly implies that he did not believe legal punishment should be applied to every case of blasphemy.

Badr ud-Din Al-Ayni, a scholar of the Hanafi school, comments on this chapter heading:

البخاري اختار في هذا مذهب الكوفيين فإن عندهم أن من سب النبي أو عابه فإن كان ذميا عزر ولا يقتل وهو قول الثوري

Al-Bukhari has adopted the method of the people of Kufi on this issue, that if someone curses or berates the Prophet and he is a non-Muslim citizen, then he is rebuked but he is not killed. This is the opinion of Ath-Thawri. Umdat al-Qari fi Sharh Sahih Al-Bukhari 34/412. To be continued in shaa ALLAH. Please remember that today is Friday and to remind you that this topic is about the beautiful nature of Islam contrary to the many believe that Islam is about capital punishment, a misconception about shariah law.

May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding us all and increases us in beneficial knowledge. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 17th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Saturday 30th January 2021). A SERIOUS CONDITION TO FULFILL FOR ALLAH TO ANSWER OUR DUA. BismilLah Consuming haraam wealth is one of the major reason why du’aa’s are not answered. Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “O people, ALLAAH is Good and only accepts that which is good. ALLAAH commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as HE gave to the Messengers. HE says; ‘O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods which ALLAAH has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits)] and do righteous deeds. Verily, I am Well-Acquainted with what you do’ [al-Mu’minoon 23:51]. ‘O you who believe (in the Oneness of ALLAAH, Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that I have provided you with’ [al-Baqarah 2:172]. Another important point is to rea...
