 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 16th day of Jumaadal Uulaa, 1446AH (Monday, 18th November 2024).

LET'S DECLARE WAR AGAINST OUR SINS THROUGH GOOD DEEDS. BismilLah. 


ALLAH in the Quran praised those who respond to evil with good deeds. Those who repel evil with good will find that their enemies will become their friends. ALLAH says:

Not equal are the good deed and the bad deed. Repel evil by that which is better, and then the one who is hostile to you will become as a devoted friend. But none is granted it except those who are patient and none is granted it except one having a great fortune. Quran 41:34-35.


Sheikh Ibn Abbas may ALLAH be pleased with him commented on this verse, saying:

ALLAH commands the believers to be patient when they feel angry, to be forbearing when confronted with ignorance, and to forgive when they are mistreated. If they do this, ALLAH will save them from Satan and subdue their enemies to them until they become like close friends. Qur'an 41:34.


ALLAH command the believers in several verses to repel evil with good by being patient, merciful, and forgiving when confronted with mistreatment.

Read Quran 13:22 and Quran 28:54. 


Let's strive to act whenever we hear such inspirational promises from our Creator ALLAH. Let's forgive each other for ALLAH sake and strive to avoid any sins against our souls. Please remember my father in your dua. He is very unwell. May ALLAH grant him and all sick people good recovery and good health. Aameen. May ALLAH keep guiding us all. Aameen.

ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character.
