 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YawmulJumuat. 6th day of Sha’abaan, 1445AH (Friday, 16th February 2024).

JUMUAT KHUTBAH. BismilLah. 


Assalaamu Alaikum WarahmatulLah. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. 

ALLAH commanded the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam in Qur'an 18:110 to say to Mankind, "I am only a man like you, to whom has been revealed that your LORD is ONE. So whoever would hope for the meeting with his LORD - let him do RIGHTEOUS WORK (in accordance with the prescribed laws of ALLAH,) and NOT ASSOCIATE in the worship of his Lord anyone." ALLAHU AKBAR. 

This is what is meant by seeking the pleasure of ALLAH alone with no associate or partner. These are the two basic features of acceptable deeds: their intent is for the sake of ALLAH alone, and are done in accordance with the way of the Messenger of ALLAH.

Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Sa`id bin Abi Fadalah Al-Ansari, who was one of the Companions, said:

"I heard the Messenger of ALLAH say,

ALLAH will gather the first and the last on the Day of Resurrection, the Day concerning which there is no doubt. A voice will call out, "Whoever used to associate anyone with ALLAH in the deeds which he/she did, let him seek his reward from someone other than ALLAH, for ALLAH is the least in need of any partner or associate. Please remember that today is Friday  

May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible.
