WHY DATING THE NON ISLAMIC WAY IS HARAAM (Forbidden/Unlawful) In Islam. BismilLah.

Most people justify dating with the notion that they just want to know each other better before they can marry. Islam believes that anything that can cause people to sin should be avoided before a person falls into temptation and it is so with dating.

The following are some of the reasons why dating is haram in Islam:

First, those dating start their date at a time when they're not really ready and well prepared to enter into marriage (e.g. students dating secretly or openly while in school). They are exposed to many temptations that normally end in disappointment and separation, which is against the ethics of Islam.

Those dating usually meet alone in a secret place and it is where most romantic affairs starts as the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) have warn us on that in a hadith saying (whenever a man and a woman are alone in a place shaytan is the third). He would persuade them to gaze at ease other lustfully, which often fall them into temptation. And ALLAH commanded us to lower our gaze, where He said in Surah Nuur 24:30.

Those dating normally speaks or express their love in a lustful and soft way that cause the couples to fall into temptation. ALLAH even ordered the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) to tell his wives and the believing women to speak in an honourable way as in Surah Ahzab 33:32. It contradicts dating and all that it holds.

Those dating usually shake/hold hands with each other which is the initial stage of intimacy and Islam prohibit it by the sayings of the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) (It is better for one of you to be pierced by a steel pin in his head than to touch the hand of a woman who is not lawful to him). And Abu Hurayrah said [The temptation of the hands is fast striking]. The shaking hands is a strong weapon used by Satan to let us end in wrong.

Those dating normally spend the night together and execute the shameful act. Narrated by Abdallah Bun Jaabir, the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said (Behold, no person should spend the night with a woman, but only in the case he married to her or he is a mahram (relative). Most spend the night and fornicate where as the Quran warn us not to even come near to zina in (QUR'AN 17:32).

ay ALLAH, protect us from any acts that will lead to any disobedience and keeps guiding us all. Aameen.

Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 17th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Saturday 30th January 2021). A SERIOUS CONDITION TO FULFILL FOR ALLAH TO ANSWER OUR DUA. BismilLah Consuming haraam wealth is one of the major reason why du’aa’s are not answered. Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “O people, ALLAAH is Good and only accepts that which is good. ALLAAH commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as HE gave to the Messengers. HE says; ‘O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods which ALLAAH has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits)] and do righteous deeds. Verily, I am Well-Acquainted with what you do’ [al-Mu’minoon 23:51]. ‘O you who believe (in the Oneness of ALLAAH, Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that I have provided you with’ [al-Baqarah 2:172]. Another important point is to rea...
