 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Ahad. 28th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Sunday 19th February. 2023). USING OUR INCOME OR WEALTH WISELY. BismilLaah.


Imaam Abu Huraira (may ALLAH be pleased with him) reported ALLAH'S Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: A servant says, My wealth. my wealth, but out of his wealth three things are only his: whatever he eats and makes use of or by means of which he dresses himself and it wears out or he gives as a charity, and this is what he stored for himself (as a reward for the Hereafter), and what is beyond this (it is of no use to you) because you are to depart and leave it for other people. (Sahih Muslim, Book 55, Hadith 6).


Let's invest our little savings into the ways of ALLAH such as supporting orphans, support In building Mosques and Islamic Schools, Wells for Communities in need of drinking water, supporting our relatives and those in need etc. These things are our true savings which can benefit us when we die. We don't know when death would knock on us so why save so much in the bank which will not benefit us instead of saving it with ALLAH? I don't want to hear any BUT, let's trust ALLAH and save our money with HIM through the few mentioned charity works. ALLAH mentioned in the Qur'an about these things I mentioned above and more of such are actually a beautiful loan to ALLAH and HE  will pay us back when we die. What a beautiful loan indeed. 


May ALLAH (Ar-Razzaaq, The Provider/ Sustainer) aid us to be able to use our income for charity works purely to please HIM. Aameen.

ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. BismilLah Consuming haraam wealth is one of the major reason why du’aa’s are not answered.
